He mentally dismissed the spirit outside, thanking him for his help and though he had more tasks due of him, he would not call on these as recompense for the spirits help. Opening his senses to the astral and activating his father's ring, he reached out, deeper and deeper into the other realms this time. The victims body was a good anchor, one that would allow him, he hoped, to pull in a spirit of man who was more or less the victim herself.

As the spirit sprung worth from the victims body, as if synchronised, J dropped to his knees. Barely conscious, his mind and body wracked with pain he did his best to hold it together. "Honored kami, thank you for speaking with us...ng..." He swayed as he returned to his feet to bow.
"We ask of you all you can tell us of the killing of Kobayashi Mizuki, the soul who resided in this body. We have heard she was poisoned, but we seek by who and what motive they had to end her life prematurely."

Kuren places his hand on J to help stabilize him and offers his cane to lean on.  *I should have brought the medkit after all.*

He sends out a note to the others, <Does anyone have a stimulant patch or medkit available?  The spirit J-san summoned seems to have weakened him greatly.>

You try to summon a spirit that is more in sync with the body. As you call for something in the Astral, you are immediately assaulted with feelings of fear and suffering. Quite clearly the spirit is in pain and that pain is directly being communicated to you. Eventually you are able to reach out to the spirit, forcing it to materialize in front of you. The spirit, a panicked woman vaguely reassembling the body in front of you, asks "Where am I? Who are you?", looking around in fear, not understanding her condition just yet.

"Hrm kuso.. I did too well." Thanks to Kuren he straightens up. "You may relax, we mean no harm, we only wish to speak. If you concentrate you will remember, you are Kobayashi Mizuki, correct?"

The spirit seems confused and consumed with its emotions. The woman stops for a moment and thinks. "Kobayashi..." she says. "Kobayashi... Mizuki." You see a distinct change in her behaviour, although she is still scared and panicked. "Yes, that is my name. Kobayashi Mizuki."

"Is it all right if we speak with you Kobayashi-san? I apologize that calling you here has caused you distress."

Most of this was to show J wouldnt fuck up talking to her because im not sure what to ask to not freak her out when i'm looking for her killer, motive and evidence..

"You want to... talk to me?" asks the spirit. The spirit is clearly confused, almost in a state of shock.

You know that a spirit so recently departed probably has no recollection of it being dead, somewhere in a dream-like state. Telling her the obvious will most probably result in denial, which might lead to a violent outburst. Your experience and gut tell you that asking questions about her in general and not specifically about her death would be the wisest course here.

"Yes if that is all right Kobayashi-san... you live in Suginami ward correct? Whats it like there, is it nice to live in?"

"In Suginami? Yes, it's nice to live in Kita ward."

[Chrona]

"Rent is all ways higher in the nice parts though, what do you do to afford it?"

"Rent? Renraku pays enough, I hope I can renew my contract again. Rent is expensive in the nice parts of town..." answers the spirit, still confused.

[Chrona]

"Ah you work for Renraku, I work..ed for Saeder Krupp here too. Is your job going well? Having any trouble?""

[HydroRaven]

"My job? I think it's going well. I hope they renew my contract again" answers the spirit.

[Chrona]

"So over at SK I was security, I protected people, kept them safe. I guess they thought i was trustworthy. What department do you work in for Renraku? What do you do for them?"

He sent a quick text message "Only clue so far is her contract was expiring."

"I work for Mr. Ishihara. I enjoy working with him, he's nice."
