Smiley continues to walk off, completely unconcerned.

You walk away hoping your bluff will work. A moment later, you hear a tongue clicking behind you and the bouncer calls over to you "Oi! If I let you in, do you think you can forget this and not mention anything to Kosuge-san? The first hour is on me." He then invites you in, presenting you with a token each.

"Mention what my friend?  The only thing I could mention is what responsible and professional people work at Venus." Smiley says magnanimously as he enters the club.

You go into a dimmed room, tables and booths filled with customers and their "purchases". A hostess brings you to a booth in the back of the room, people looking your way as you walk across the room. She then asks you for your drink order in a polite, yet childish way, referring to Yaibei as "older brother", Mia as "older sister" and Smiley as "boss".

"I would like something light and refreshing, and someone special to share it with.  My friend told me that a girl named Makato is especially good company." says Smiley as he passes her a credstick, "I don't think older brother is drinking, but you should bring a bottle for the lady."

"Makoto?" asks the girl, trying to sound surprised. "I think Makoto is busy at the moment. But if boss wants someone cute, I'm always free."

"I am sure you are a wonderful person to speak with, perhaps you can bring older brother out of his shell a bit, but I am afraid that Makato has come highly recommended and I must insist." Smiley says in reply, "Jubei, go with the lady and see if you can't arrange for Makato's time.  If she is engaged perhaps quanity can be exchanged for her quality, at my expense, of course. Kitty-cat, go help the young man."
Smiley relaxes into his seat, the very picture of a powerful man used to getting his way.

The woman makes an exaggerated sad face and says "Let me get her for you" before going back to the bar where the other working ladies are gathered, no doubt gossiping amongst themselves. After a moment, one of the girls comes over and smiles at you. "Otsukaresama, Boss. You must be very tired after such a big day. Have you ordered a drink yet?"

"I am not sure actually, are you Makato?  I asked the other hostess for something, but she may have decided not to get it for me."  Smiley gives an obviously exaggerated mocking pout,

Mia pouts at Smiley at the suggestion she leave "Oh come on boss, you sure i can't stay" she say fluttering her lashes. "Well fine then, im going to powder my nose then!" Mia huffs out of there like a sulky kid and heads straight for the bathroom.

"Yes, I am Makoto. May I ask who referred me to you, Boss?" asks the girl, trying to be as polite as possible. At the same time, a waitress brings you an order of what you think is shouchu and Makoto grabs it and pours it in a glass filled with ice for you. "Here you go, Boss, please enjoy your drink."

You head to the bathroom and immediately come face-to-face with a working girl getting out of the washroom. She excuses herself before leaving, the door swinging shut behind her. You push it open to reveal another 3 girls inside, fixing their makeup and chatting to each other. As you get in, they stop talking and look at you, fake smiles appearing on their faces.

"You can ask, I may even give you an answer if you ask nicely enough." sipping the drink, he smiles playfully, "I hope I am not drinking alone, and I hope I can convince you to call me something other than boss."

"Will you buy me some plum liqueur then?" asks the girl at your request. "So, what is it that you do, Boss?"

"That sounds very tasty, let's get a bottle." Smiley says, settling and sipping the other drink, "Back home my name is David White Cloud, though I suppose that would be White Cloud David here, I think.  What is your family name?"
