And be able to perform with your axe an amazing metal act which will inevitably end on you hitting the one that needed to be convinved with the axe... Because... Well you know that at the end of the act most metal players do that... XD

@WrongJust remember that not many people have experience with talking cars outside of old TV shows.
Both the Hoff and Shadowrun are big in Germany, totally appropriate. :D Is anyone's name Michael?

Hrm, sorry for the delay. Weekends are currently used to sit inside a classroom for EMT training. I was going to post when I got home yesterday, but I got a headache and tired. I am currently putting up my post now.

Hmmm... well, rats. I guess I can't really find anything on the Matrix between the public grid and defaulting. I assume I have some idea how to get downtown? I guess I'll try to get to 4th Street closest to the busiest area and see if I can find the building or ask around.

Well, even though the cabbie's driving, I got a critical glitch.

Well, I have made a bit of a mistake. That's what happens when you're new to GM-ing, but never fear, I have a way to fix it. That involves actually explaining what I want and then putting it on the OP.

So, the way I want to houserule travel times and preparation was to simply roll it into one post and roll. Simply put, I like to bunch them together in one roll I call the Preparation Roll. It's works simultaneously as a Navigation roll and a pseudo-Initiative roll. Note that I have been keeping track of the time. Simply put, this is my way of implementing "turns". What you roll will determine when you get prepared and arrive there. This should be an OOC roll, so it means your following post will be based on what you roll after I tell you what time you arrive. The caveat to Preparation Roll is that when I ask you to roll it, then it's a signal that you will be on standby until you have arrived. I'm doing this because (I think) it'll keep the plot rolling and we won't have to spend time explaining every single encounter that happens. I will tell you when something unexpected does happen, so do not worry.

The second thing I want to add is that if I ask you to roll something without a threshold indicator, then you don't need to worry about thresholds outside of getting glitches/critical glitches.

@Silence
So I goofed by asking you to roll IC. But you don't have to re-roll or delete your post. In fact, I want you reroll the same Navigation test, as this time it will determine when you arrive. I'm still going to keep that critical glitch into account though because I think that is hilarious and I want to do something with it.  What it will be...well, you'll see.

@Jack
Roll for Preparation: Navigation + INT

@obidancer & Wrong
Both of you roll a Perception test: Perception + INT[Mental]

@BestTeaMaker
I'll assume Daisy needs to roll Nav+Int as well, he'll need to make use of public transport to get to the Stuffer Shack.  I'll be defaulting this.
Preparation roll for getting from Reggie's Dojo to Stuffer Shack in Downtown. (2d6=[2,1])

I hope he still end up in the same-ish part of town...

(Perception 2 + INT 3[Mental 4]) (5d6.hits(5)=[3,6,4,4,5]2)

Two hits no glitch baby!

@BestTeaMaker
Also i make the test but i have a few questions, first: Because i am in Hot VR and jumped in my car shouldn't i be using the car sensors for the test? and second how good should i describe my car? for example do i have synthleather or leather? do i have mind blowing stereo? or what should i consider my restrictions? because in SR4 i would need to buy a car modification or upgrade of "Lifestyle" or should i assume that my lifestyle is applied to my car?

@obidancer
I don't know if i told you before, but no problem about what the Frenchman said, IC and OCC are two diferent things for me, im normally a Narrator for several games so im good at keeping the line between characters and RL, some of my players not so much... Specially when their characters die... And even more when they die stupidly after the fourteen "Are you sure you wish/want to do that?"

@Wrong:

Saeder-Krupp-Bentley Concordat: This luxury sedan
is stylish, stately, and impressive. It is fast and powerful,
comfortable and safe, opulently appointed, and most
importantly, a status symbol. The SK-Bentley Concordat
is the kind of car that simstars and orxploitation rappers
drive; a runner behind the wheel of one has made the big
time indeed. Either that, or they stole it.

I think the key word is opulent: if you think it should be in it, it is! :)
