== Description ==
Knives is a smaller than average human but appears tough and wirey. He is usually seen in his Moritmer of London Greatcoat with a collared shirt and black tie underneath. His hair is cut short and geled to spike up and his deep brown eyes draw people into them.
== Background ==
Knives came into the employ of The Clerkenwell Family at the ripe young age of 19 after his best mate Jimmy signed up and has slowly been climbing up the ladder ever since. His aptitude for knives and sneakery set him apart from the other wiseguys and he was able to secure the position of "Mademan" after only five years of service. Since then Knives has headed up many "protection contacts" on behalf of the Clerkenwell Family as his talents lent well to "collections and enforcement". Thanks to his advancements within the family he was able to afford his own flat on the north side of Brixton.
Jimmy (The Blade) Hughes - Blades Dealer (3/4) - Human Male
Jimmy is an old friend from the flat complex who joined The Family not long before Knives and actually convinced him to join up. The two boys grew up aspiring to be nothing more than street thugs but once they managed to slip a butterfly knife out of some wiseguy's jacket pocket these two became fascinated by knives. Miles was always one step ahead of Jimmy in the art of wielding the blade but Jimmy had more of a knack of making connections and building a collection. It did not take long for Jimmy to put his connections to use for The Clerkenwell's and become a fairly respectable dealer.
"Ol" Nick Evans - Pub owner (2/2) - Ork Male
Ol Nick owns the local pub a block away from the flats Miles and Jimmy grew up in. The boys have known the aged Ork since childhood and have frequented his establishment on at minimum a weekly basis since they were old enough to purchase a pint. The old Ork knows his fair share about the moving and shakings of London's Underground.
Freddie Jones - Armorer (3/3) - Dwarf Male
About a year after Jimmy became acquainted with Freddie, as they often crossed paths within the semi-legal Arms and Armor business, Jimmy decided it was time. After a few deals Freddie he had earned enough trust to be introduced to Miles and the nuyen Miles was able to bring in Part of being a great knife fighter means have the best armor to protect one's self.
The Clerkenwell Family - Crime Syndicate (8/4) - Reliable Fence (20%) - 30hrs/week commitment
Miles joined up with the Clerkenwell Family shortly after his 19th birthday. His best mate Jimmy had already been a member for 8 months before he was able to sell Miles on the idea of signing up. It only took a few years for him to be noticed as an excellent "collections expert" and "protection enforcer". Miles has been granted the privilege of overseeing several protection contracts which take up a decent amount of his weekly schedule.
