Most of them are your standard SINner's and the like you would expect for this sort of area.
you mange to pick up the hidden nodes of the merc guards also... it would seem that their links are tied into a central net that supports the entire neighborhood.

You easily pick up the proffessors CHN and also find an associated hidden node.

The hidden node grabbed Flea's attention most, usually the important stuff was kept off the grid in a hidden mode.
Flea loads up an AR terminal and boots her hacking suite

As you scan the node it resists your attempts to gain information actively shifting into the background data streams:

Despite the nodes best efforts your analyse program easily manages to gather information on the hidden node, with a new ARO appearing with the results over the morphing icon of the hidden node.

As you attempt to log in to the hidden node you are immediately redirected to the CHN due to the slaved connection there is no notable security in place on the CHN and it has a stock environment loaded with plain icons showing.

As you lock onto the gateway to the hidden node you meet your first attempt to resist your access.

As you shift your perception to peer into the misted veil of astral space you are presented with the vast shadow of the campus around you with the vibrant auras of the trees and shrubbery of the local flora and fauna. The building that is initiated as where the professor has been carrying out his work has some form of astral being patrolling in a regimented and autonomous manner.

The very texture of the astral space is slowly warping in an unnatural manner in the area and a felling of malaise starts to fill you.

Most of the areas are completely mundane but the building where the professor works is covered in awakened ivy and is being patrolled by a watcher spirit, there is a background count in the area of the building of 1.[/spoiler]

Flea took a second to get her bearings, taking a good look around the node and at all the "plain" icons.

"Excellent my friend... excellent."  Lynx keeps his eyes scanning around making sure no one was paying too much attention to them.  He records the footage from his eyes for later review and he endeavors to get a clear view of the Professor's house as they drive by.

The last used dates indicate the apartment is still being used actively.

you do find a schedule of sorts loaded in one of the smaller icons that gives you his dairy for the coming weeks including a full schedule of classes and maps round the university to get to those classes. There is also an invitation to a dinner with some executives to discuss progress with the research he is working on.  [/spoiler]

Perception results
as you watch the area for evidence of being watched or at the least being noticed you don't see many people round at all most people are asleep at this time there are just a few people out for  a late night run and the occasional merc patrol that glances over at the truck that's  little of place but don;t stop or pay much attention...

As you go past the apartment you pick up a twitch in the corner of your eye that peaks your interest and notice that in an apartment across the street there is ongoing surveillance of the professors apartment and they are logging everything and take particular interest in you as you drive by. as you go round you see there is full surveillance cover of the building and spot at least one camera and parabolic microphone.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=@Csjarratt]You manage to decrypt the files on the hidden node:
From the data enclosed you can identify that this is the Professors personal link and it has a lot of data regarding his research at the university.
looking over the data most of it makes no sense to you it's all a whole load of scientific gibberish, but the odd word perks your interest.. such as irradiation. genetics and toxicity.

There is also some more information about his personal interest in leaving his current employers, including what he has managed to gather about the surveillance of him.
It looks to be some sort of diary and log of activity over the course of his research a sort of note pad with a collections of thoughts, it's difficult to follow as its is very jumbled up in it construction lacking any sort of order or chronology to identify where or when he wrote the information, but it would seem to indicate that at the start of the project he had a lot more freedom and over time they handlers started to crowd him more and more leading to him  being disenfranchised with his current sponsors, he arranged for the event where he contacted the 'Johnson' since then the surveillance of him has been stepped up more and more and he can barely move now without it being seen somehow.
By his estimation he has two live tails at any one time and this apartment is being watched from three places providing total coverage. the only place he thinks he has any sort of privacy is the university but he is paranoid that he is being monitored using the university security cameras and the handlers are still near by.[/spoiler]
