Usually I am more of a breasts man... but DAMN that is one fine specimen of "butt"... (and I am not talking about the dudes in the last picture). Sweet work!

Here is some art that I am going to use for my character. The art is a photo manipulation of a few pieces I found online. It had a different head I think. I wanted to draw it myself, but until I get my cintiq, I am going to stick with some photo manipulations for some quick character art for the campaign. BTW, the actor that I am basing my character off of is going to be Eli Roth, (its something my gaming group has always done. We always pic an actor for our characters.)

That's the plan. Currently I have him at 1.5 essence! I might even try and get him into the negative essence range!

I've got a truckload of shadowrun style art here:

I used to do free sketches over on dumpshock. I need to start that up again.

I've just gotta take a second to share an awesome story about Mr. John Zeleznik, an old-school Shadowrun artist with a body of work us fellow old timers should be familiar with:

http://www.johnzeleznik.com/site_files/home.html

He did the cover art to DNA/DOA, Ivy and Chrome, Dragon Hunt, Killing Glare, 2XS, Shadowrun Companion, Neo-Anarchist's Guide to Real Life, etc, etc...and, most importantly to this little story, the DMZ box art (that I use as an avatar picture).

I contacted Mr. Zeleznik several weeks ago after taking a look at his website, disappointed that there wasn't a print of DMZ available for sale.  I asked if they'd previously been for sale or were out of stock, etc, etc...and in exchange he just asked for my mailing address, and told me he had a promo piece for it.

So the other day I got a full sized poster of DMZ in the mail, and he also a signed glossy of DNA/DOA -- all free of charge, all volunteered by him without me even knowing what he'd decided to send me!

The sleek lines and cool lighting effects of his artwork really defined early Shadowrun for me, and the contrasting details of the futuristic armor and the invariably interesting haircuts (from mohawks to pink hair to fancy buzz-cuts) really just mixed both popular "styles" of Shadowrun, in my head.  Magical effects alongside cool racing bikes, sleek guns next to detailed metahumans...I'd always enjoyed Mr. Zeleznik's work, but after just this one little exchange in email, I had to let everyone know what a nice guy he was, too.

I feel the same way about Jeff Laubenstein(OG), Steven Prescott(2nd and 3rd ed), and Klaus Scherwinski (new)

I met Jeff at Gencon this year and he was AWESOME.  I tried not to be a little girl around him but his original archtypes that he did in the main book was awesome.  So we get to talking and not only does he draw and one of his awesome trolls in my 20th ed book, he also tells me to come by the next day.  So the next day I go back and she shows me the original concepts for the original cover by Elmore.  The entire design including the old logo was his.  The sketches and all the archtypes drawings where awesome to say the least.

Then we move on to Steven Prescott, one of my art influences, he shaped in my head what cyberpunk is to me.  I got him to draw a human runner in my book and I also bought like 180.00 worth of pen and ink shadowrun art, like 5pcs for only 60.00.  He said that he mainly getted people asking for his D&D and Magic stuff and was really kewl when we talked about shadowrun.  Had it not been for FASA and WIZkids he said that he would have loved to do more but I guess he had a bad taste in his mouth about it.  At any rate I got some of his art(which I need to frame).  And I also got his sketch book what has some really awesome art.

Then we move on to Klaus, the Geman fanboy!  He was so down to earth and just as much fans as what I was, I talked to him about SR and abut the German translations, and one off books.  He showed me some cool art and also the little ins for each picture.  Little details that ture fans would get.  He was really cool and I have a feeling that he is going to go far as an illustrator.

I think if they come out from the lower jaw they are tusks.  Wait, nevermind, a walrus has tusks coming out of the upper jaw.

What's the difference?  Is it that tusks protrude?
There is no overkill.

Only "Open fire" and "I need to reload."
