Damn; should have known that there was a reason there were people upstairs this close to a meet. If this goes sour, hopefully his guards will be concerned about shooting him and we can use him as mobile cover.

Jade, as part of instinct, is immediately analyzing areas of suitable cover and any other possible exit/entry points. She knows her that she has enough rounds in her Fichetti to hold a doorway at least as far as dumping lead; they won't hurt much, but it'd be something at least.

I seriously hope that these other guys have some tricks up their sleeves. Guns, CQC, or hell, even Awakened at this point. There's a thought I thought I'd never be comforted by.

Puppeteer was shoched as a thought crossed his mind. He almost forgot to check the aura of the Johnson. He quickly made up for it by checking now.

After a moment, the Johnson stands up and says "If there is no more then this meeting is concluded you will recieve a message to your comms as soon as you exit this building, in that message will be the address for the safe house among other things. Feel free to meet there to plan your attack keep in mind your deadlines. After saying this he will remain until you all exit the room.

The joy of the club environment has left Jade; knowing there's that many people outside ready to have attempted to geek her for denying the job. This job just became a lot more dangerous.
She turns her public commlink on (Fake SIN name broadcasting "Tara Monroe"), and turns to walk away.
"This job is going to be nasty."

She looks at the other runners at the table, awaiting their reaction.

Alerion gives them her disposable commlink codes. Disregarding the comment made from the other female runner she continues to grin, "So we taking this cred stick to the safehouse and dividing this there, or we just take our cut now?"

Wheels stands, nods to the Johnson and heads for the door

So controlling.” His thoughts resonated with the nature of the King of the Great Unknown. There are secrets lying in wait at every turn from now on, some more obvious than others. And it must be intentional, hiding some in the deeper shadows of a shadow. We must be careful, lest our spirits depart to the Beyond. He continued to the other runners. ”I agree that we should check this safehouse but I suggest we do our planning separately. I don’t like to be watched all the time.”
He raised from his seat while he spoke. ”There’s something else. Now that it is sure we’ll work together, I feel it is time for me to introduce myself seriously. I’m known to people in our line of work as Puppeteer. You can use that name but please continue to refer to me as Jonathan if we are in the open. Any further details, like abilities and roles, we can discuss when we reach an adequately safe place.

Jade looks at the others tentatively; Nobody big enough to work as a bullet magnet; and she couldn't fairly attest to their combat skills based off what she saw.
Hopefully, her guns would be big enough do the job.

"Send me a message when you figure out a spot to meet, I need to grab some stuff also. Otherwise I'm Going to head to the safehouse and check it out." He heads out the door if nobody reply's to her. She grabs her raincoat and waves at the guards on the way out of the front door. She heads to her bike and heads back to her house. Collecting her gear relevant gear to bring with her. She slings her katana across her back, and stuff the rest of her gear into her bike.

”No specific place in mind, just not there. Call me paranoid, but I like to be cautious with places which reek of half-buried secrets and badly-veiled plots.” Puppeteer answered with an even voice. When Alerion started to move out, he continued. ”Of course, I said that we need to take a good look at the safehouse, so we can meet up there after everyone got their equipment. Does any of you have access to a car that can bring two large cases? I’d hate to arrive to the place in a taxi. If not, I can rent a car from one of my friends on the way.”

"If someone doesn't mind having their vehicle become a pack mule, I can bring along a bit more firepower if they got room in their trunk. I got my wheels, but they're built more for speed than carrying things."

Jade immediately was grateful that she readied the pack back at her doss. Her sword and SMG could easily go to the trunk if someone could meet her at a parking-lot behind one of the strip-malls nearby her pad.
