Ok here is the deal, i have not acted as Gm in a shadowrun campaign for over a decade, thus i am a bit rusty, i am also new to SR5 so you will have to bear with me for a while until i get into pace.

The game will not start for at least 2 weeks (1st IC posts that is) in the mean time ill get everything prepped (as i have to fit it into my schedule).

There will be 5 spots and 2 extras in case anyone drops out.

Post the character concept (complete sheet is not necessary but can help) in this post, ill look into them, the default rule will be 1st served unless i think the concept does not fit, on which i will ask for something different.

And last but definitely not least, the players should have not read nor played Splintered State (should that have been gone without saying?)

Thanks in advance

update:

1- Triskavanski - Pirate Captian "Lucky Dog" Corma
2- martinchaen - Moto (rigger)
3-bewilderbeast -  Bad Johnny Juju
4- jackVII - Baron Mojo
5- vandarl - Count Zorro

6- Jim1701
7-p1exor

this should be the draft so far, ill be reading my mail and stuff and answering your questions asap, thank you for the patience guys.

Is that the tom clancy book/game? Cause I did play  a splintered something with Sam Fisher. If not..

1st concept - Pink Mohawk

Pirate Captian Lucky Dog Cormac - Essentially a guy who watched Pirates of the Caribbean 14, /way/ too many times and has ultimately dedicated himself to being a "pirate". Why you might ask? Because Priates are cool. Johnny Depp's fourth clone says so. Human with lots of luck, and a vintage ball + Cap rifle that he doesn't use very often, but when he does.. watch out! (always uses a point of edge to use that rifle basically)

2nd Concept - Black Trench-coat

#42 - The hitman for hire. Follows the assassins creed and all that using a host of various weapons and augmentations/adept powers. (He might go adept or augmented)

3rd Concept - Pink Mohawk

Mystic Knight - MA with focuses on doing things like wall running, jumping and using a sword with his adept powers. On his Mage side, generally things like Fling, magic fingers, influence, probe thoughts, levitate, barriers and lighting bolt.

4 - Black Tenchcoat

Technosavant - one of my crazy technomancer builds. I can easily mutate him into whatever role we'd need for him, I've got plenty of ideas on how to make him work.

Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

First of all:
Are we including the errata documents that have been released, and have you considered whether or not to implement any houserules?

Secondly:
Are there any character generation options applied to this game? (i.e. street scum, prime runners, etc etc)

Thirdly:
Will you allow content from the accessory books that have been released so far (Gun H(e)aven 3, Coyotes, Assassin's Primer)?

With that, character.

Alias: Moto
Character: Japanese Male Dwarf in his mid-30s, university educated with degrees in engineering, mathematics, and computer science

Concept:
Former employee of think-tank who was discriminated against by his human superiors, and who felt the company didn't value his designs; left the company with several data chips worth of his own research and went to Seattle to hide amongst the scum and villany there. Began working at a mechanics shop where he quickly applied his engineering know-how to suggest performance upgrades and other modifications to customers vehicles. After a few years, closed the shop when the old owner got killed in a gang shootout, and is now running a successful but illegal modification workshop for drones and vehicles in the Ork Underground.

Archetype:
Rigger (drones and vehicles)

1- using erratas yes, houserules, not by default on day 1, but if the need arises we can make an exception for vehicles.

2-no, default char creation

3-just what i have or whatever i can loan, thus for now its just source book

Ah, so couldn't do the gun heaven stuff for now?

Cause thats where the ball and cap rifle comes into place. Unhackable, 2 Acc, cannot use smartgun system amongst other things.

I'm always up for a game. I have numerous characters available. The ones I'm most interested in playing at the moment are my used bioware street sam:

http://forums.shadowruntabletop.com/index.php?topic=15526.0

And my Face/Conjurer, Bad Johnny Juju:

http://forums.shadowruntabletop.com/index.php?topic=14951.msg270645#msg270645

But again, quite willing to fill any role.

I'd be interested. What kind of posting rate are you expecting?

I've got a character pretty much ready to go for whatever slots are open. I kind of want to try out Baron Mojo. I haven't double-checked him for accuracy yet, so there may be a few things off.
Alias: Baron Mojo
Name: Trevor Dyson

CONTACTS & REP (2 Karma Spent)
Piker, Male Dwarf Rat Shaman (2/1): Piker is a rat shaman running with the Red Hot Nukes. He knows the general lay of the land in the Redmond Barrens and is fairly well versed in the magical and mundane threats that exist there. Mojo and Piker don't necessarily like each other, but if something presents itself that would be to their mutual benefit if they worked together, they're willing to see past any personal issues.

Susan “Hex” Hecker, Female Dwarf Talismonger (3/2): Hex is a dwarf shaman following the Bear totem. She runs a small shop on the outskirts of the Redmond Barrens simply called Hex. It's a small run-down shop that serves the small Awakened population of the Barrens. Given the general lack of cash flow among the population, the majority of the goods are reagents and supplies for creating lodges and circles, rather than foci or other expensive goods. She can create foci and spell formulae on commission.

Current Karma (2), Total Karma (0), Street Cred (0), Notoriety (0), Public Awareness (0)

Description: Dressed in a shabby suit, the man before you still carries himself with  a certain degree of stature. The suit is one of those odd hooded numbers that  corporate wage mages wore about 10 years ago, but he still manages to pull it off  fairly well. The man’s hair is a premature gray and his eyes are nearly the same  color. Worry lines tracing across his face seem to add ten years to his age, but you peg him around 40 years old give or take a year. Briefly, you wonder what the man  could have gone through that brought him so low. That thought disappears as the man catches your glance and gives you a cruel smile, in what appears to be a silent  challenge.

Personality: Baron Mojo is arrogant, despite his recent brush with mortality and failure. An incredibly gifted mage, he does have reason to be proud of his abilities, but it certainly doesn’t make him many friends. His spell repertoire generally reflects his personality, with a fairly substantial number of them causing harm or taking away control from his opponents. His treatment of spirits also leaves much to be desired, most of the ones he binds dislike him greatly for the way he treats them.

Background: There comes a time in every runner’s career when he has to simply burn everything to the ground and start over. For Baron Mojo, that time is now. After a run against Renraku in Boston went horribly wrong leaving half his team dead, Baron Mojo grabbed his go-bag and got the frag out of the city. Fleeing to Seattle to hide, he found himself destitute with nothing more than a commlink and a drek fake SIN. Presently holed up in a coffin motel in the Redmond Barrens, Baron Mojo has been slowly gathering his strength and testing the Seattle shadows for work. When he isn’t working a job, he has been working on a contract basis for “Hex” Hecker, selling her hermetic reagents that he harvests in the Barrens.
I would like to throw in my hat for consideration.

How Pink is Your Mohawk?
Boomer - dwarf, physical adept, former front man for Stunty Liberation Front; a dwarven psychobilly band. Originally from the PCC, he moved to Seattle for the music and then got drawn into the shadows from there. He is extroverted, ambitious and perfectly willing to jump up into the air to try and put his foot up your hoop.

I Wear my Mirror-shades at Night!
Count Zorro - human, decker with a side of B&E. Has some gang ties from his youthful indescretions but is working to present a professional front.

Cool; let us know if you have any preferences for character sheets so we can all use the same one. I know when I GM that's how I prefer it ;)

Also, let us know if/when a team is assembled.

Concept 1: Dwarf Hermetic Mage.  In his 40's and scruffy looking by most standards.  Doesn't like technology and technology doesn't like him.  Strengths are casting, summoning and astral combat.

Concept 2: Dwarf B&E Expert.  Why?  Because who suspects a Dwarf cat burglar.  Considers the best job to be the one that no one knows occurred.  Good with maglocks, sneaking and some social skills.  Could be backup face.

I am also perfectly willing to take another role if needed.
