Technomancers and Trodes

What happens when a technomancer uses trodes as their DNI (Direct Neural Interface) into throwbacks (non-wireless devices)? Are they able to perform resonance actions on that device?
What happens when a technomancer uses trodes as their DNI into a Simrig? Are they able to record their experience as a technomancer?

Right now, its mostly up to the GM on that.

Id end up saying as long as you dont use something that creates a persona, you can keep using your living persona and resonance actions

Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Ditto.  The book supports this theory well, but it's open to interpretation.
