There's a download on RPGDrivethrough called Parazoologie 2075, in I'm guessing German.  To my knowledge, there's no English version of this download.  It has a nearly identical cover to Parazoology, but it based on the "2075" part and a look at the preview, it seems to be a 5e text.  I assume that an English version is coming?  Have there been any hints dropped as to when that would be?  It is unusual for any of the texts to be released in a non-English language first?  (I only started following the releases closely with Gun Heaven 3 and Coyotes, and those were released in English first, and likewise for today's Run and Gun release).

It could be that this is a German-only release, there have been a few of those in previous editions.  I don't know the exact interaction of the Shadowrun IP between Pegasus and Catalyst when it comes to producing original content, but I wouldn't be shocked if we never saw an English version.

On the other hand, having lived in Frankfurt for a bit, my players can expect things that go bump in the night!  ;)

I have heard it's just the same as Parazoology 1 & 2, but with updated statistics for 5th Edition. If anyone could confirm this, it'd be appreciated - as i've said before, I do speak some German, but find reading rule-books in foreign languages uncomfortably slow, so if it's the same I won't bother ;)

My understanding that that the content is Parazoology 1 & 2 with SR5 stats...no new content per se. Note that I have not purchased the book, just translated the descriptions on the Pegasus website. It would e nice to see a similar release from CGL, but not sure where it would fit into their current release plans.

Thanks all for the replies.  My group currently has the Critters book and Parazoology 2.  I'll try to find out if Critters has narrative descriptions of all the creatures in Parazoology.  If so, I'll probably go ahead and get the German Parazoologie 2075 just for the stats, and use the texts we already have for the narrative descriptions.

AJCarrington is correct that it's an update of the books. Critters won't have all the critters in Parazoology. It will have some that didn't make it into Running Wild, and there's all new critters as well.

Gents..."Critters"...are you referring to the 3rd edition book, or something new?

The third edition book.  My buddy has a bunch of older edition books, so I checked with him about his library as it relates to Parazoology.  He has Critters and Parazoology 2.  I'm not really too wild about buying the English version of Parazoology 1 AND Parazoologie 2075 just to have a good bank of 5e critters.  Still thinking it all through.
