The address was downtown near the civic center. This late at night the area was nearly empty. Which didn't mean azzie patrols were light, just that you were far easier to spot. The usual fraggers hopped up on something were out and about making the rounds of bars and must see entertainment. The restaurant was the top floor of a very upscale shopping plaza. You know the kind of places where even the wage-slaves looked down on you for not wearing the right suit and politely (or not so much) directed you to the Shop & Go on the other side of town. Two major entrances were on the main streets with several of the smaller shops on the inside possessing alleyway doors that only opened from the inside. Heaven forbid the customer would have to be subjected to the sight of someone taking out the trash. It doesn't take a decker to know that there will be more than the average security on the place, and pulling up the public floorplans shows that the restaurant only has one entrance. Flyspies checking out the restaurant from the outside give you a nice view of downtown, assuming you like to look at buildings and traffic of course. What you cansee of inside shows tables with plenty of room to maneuver around and an elegantly understated décor made to look like a mountain lodge. It also shows security on the glass.

"Right, that is what we need to do there." The professor responds. "I can assist him, but that's about it."

Loki simply looked around at the others and smiled. "What? Fancy restaurant like that wouldn't let someone like me in, unless I had some fancy clothes and an accent... Siren clearly underestimates me, so I'll hang out here with Shade, keep an eye on the Astral. Have fun!"

The young Elf kicked his feet up onto the rear seats as the others left, leaned back, and closed his eyes. To the eyes of his mundane crew he'd look like he was sleeping. To someone awakened, it would look like his spirit had partially abandoned his body. Loki trailed the aura of his compatriots towards the top floor of the mall, avoiding the watchers keeping guard in the fancy boutiques. When they entered the restaurant, Loki ascended to roof, sliding down through the roof, making sure no mana barrier prevented his passage.

"Never know with these kinds of places", he thought to himself, "rich bastards like these people take silly precautions some times."

As his colleagues were escorted to their table, he scanned the crowd for other Awakened, making sure to keep out of sight up above. He'd learned early on that far too few people looked up for hidden dangers...

I'm gonna take a walk around the block, see whats around and where'd be best to wait as backup. I'm not dressed for that place at all.
Derren hits the tarmac, slamming the heavy armoured door behind him.
The air was a damn site fresher in this part of town, nice shops  lined the sidewalks. He felt out of place having laid low in the barrens for months, but it was a welcome reprieve from the shit and acid rain.

@Ericen You've done this before a thousand times. Flown overwatch with drones while you waited for the drop for Slick. At least this time it wan't in the god-forsaken part of nowhere. The traffic is a mix of vehicles and it's far easier to blend in with so many people about.

@Loki The spirits of last night must be the nighttime security as youi has no trouble this morning.

@James There's an almost overwhelming number of ICON's around you, and for a moment the "rush" as everything become more real, more intimate, more responsive to you, and you slide in smoothly, you own this, it's yours.

Everything is as ready as you're going to get, it's showtime.

The Professor slipped into that armarte suit, from the locker room. figiting with it a bit. "I don't like it.. its.. itchy." he complains to himself. Pulling out his flashy doo-dad, something he'll have to name sometime, not wanting to use sonic screwdriver, he flicks it at the suit waving it around a bit. What wasn't known however was the mechanical dog machine sprite that was now running diagnostics by The Professors' silent command.

+1 to using the device, +1 to limit. Man.. we're really good with dice rolls this game aren't we?

The suit adjusts, pulling this way and that, looking quite a bit better on The Professor than it did moments ago, and with that he began walking to the restaurant, slipping the device into an inner coat pocket.

Clothes really do make the man, and the azzie security and the boutique wage slaves are respectful as you walk by. The lovely tiered and terraced interior has had every attention paid to it's details both in the physical and the virtual space. No blaring advertisements and glaringly obvious ICON's, everything is tasteful and restful. And very intrusive. Connected as you are with virtual space you recognize scanners meant to ID you before you got within 10 meters of the entrance. So far that fake SIN Siren had delivered seems to be holding up as no security has come close to you. The restaurant doors are open. And the Maitre d' is waiting for you, arriving at the inner entrance as you step onto the outer. "Good afternoon Dr Jameson, it is a pleasure to have you with us today sir. Right this way. You're waitress will be Annalisse according to the preferences we have on file, and our sous chef is of course fully aware of your specific dietary needs. As this is your first time dining with us please feel free to come to me with any of your needs or concerns. I am Henri, and I am fully at your disposable." His voice is soft, deep and melodic as he walks you to a table with a scenic view of the city. When he says his name he pushes a button on his comm and his business card appears to you, meant of course to be recv'd by your comm. At that he bows and moves away and your waitress steps forward with a crystal glass of iced water and a pleasant, well groomed smile. "Good afternoon Dr Jameson, I am Annalisse, your waitress. Is there anything you'd like at the moment?"

Specific Dietary needs? He blinks, taken slightly back by that. I need to look into that more myself then.

"No no, my dear, Annalisse. A glass of water for now is perfectly fine. Perfectly fine. I am here to meet an old friend of mine, is she perhaps already here, hmm?" He asks, glancing around the room already to see if he could pick out the Johnson involved, while accepting the ice water.

As he looks around he doesn't see anyone that stands out to him. No one looking at him, or, trying to avoid looking at him. Annalisse smiles, "Of course sir. All you need to do is signal me, or send your request directly to the kitchen. And if I may recommend the soup today. I heard the chef mentioning that the catch flown in today has a rare variety of Bluefin that he was looking forward to working with." With that she smiles and sends her comm signal to you, makes a slight bow and walks away.
It doesn't take terribly long though. About ten minutes later a beautiful woman walks through the door, and recv's the same treatment from the waiter. As tall, slender and elegant as any Tir noble she's definitely human, and looks every bit at home in her ermine and in this environment. She glides forward accompanying Henri, her bodyguard two steps behind her. She is within 10 steps of you when she pauses, seems to focus on you and then heads straight for you, "Dr Johnson, what an unexpected pleasure to see you. The years have been very kind to you. I don't think you've aged a bit since the last time I saw you sir." "I had no idea you had changed universities. Or are you here on vacation?"

"Ah! I do say, the years are kinder on you, my dear,  than they've been on a old cogure such as myself. The Professor a small, less eccentric smile than he normally would give. Up to the prim and proper after all. "I do so very much insist that we discuss old times over a bowl of soup. Come come." he says happily, attempting to lead her to a nearby seat.

"If I heard from Betty, who heard from you know who, who heard from Steven, who heard from that one chap, I always forget his name, no matter, The point my dear, is I have heard you were with child?"

Her eyebrows raise a bit at that. "Not quite." "And I'm afraid I don't have time for soup. I'm meeting a friend her for lunch and then a dress appointment." My husband and I have a coporate dinner we're attending tomorrow evening." "But, perhaps a cup of coffee." "I know my husband would never forgive me if I did not at least try & charm you into considering his R&D department." She glances up then and a waiter appears almost out of nowhere, "My usual Keelee." she glances at the guards and her chin juts out a moment and they move off to take a vantage point where they can see her and the entrance. "I remember your work was always very forward thinking, and my husband's R&D department is aggressively looking for people who can really advance their body of knowledge." "Of course, that's all I really know about it." She smiles charmingly, "It's something of a catch-phrase with him." "But, I know he is very dedicated to his job and will do anything for it." She smiles, very "company line" coming out of her mouth. But her eyes harden around the edges, and she is clearly angry. "So, tell me why you're here professor. As a student ofc  you were simply a terrifying figure." "But now that I've grown up and don't have to worry about passing Biotech 101 I'd like to know a little bit about you." That last part is said with a look straight into your eyes, she is measuring you and waiting.

@Loki You see the professor talking to an elven woman. Coming closer you're able to make out enough of her physical appearance to tell she looks human.

@James Monitoring the matrix for security alerts concerning your sins all seems well for the moment.

@Derren You see the azzies singling out anybody whos clothing marks them as poor for spot SIN checks. Typical azzie behavior, bullying because they can. One patrol is walking in your general direction although they don't seem to be in any particular hurry.

She's desperate. She doesn't know who to trust and needs to know if you even have the skills to do this. She's not prepared to tell you anything until she knows.

"Ah yes, Biotech 101, a wonderful class, but I do quite enjoy the more simple things in life. Such as Biology. At my universities local zoo there's been a case of a lioness who's been quite in troubled by the male lion. Always posturing around, he is, the trouble got so bad we had to remove the lioness and her only cub from the pen and free them. A touching tale really, perhaps they'll make a movie out of it one day? Probably animated. Misses Jones Goes Home or some silly such rot. He explains in colorful detail.
