Frankenstein's glowing red cybereyes widened slightly as the elf re-emerged with some free drink tickets. Either damned decent of Mr. Aces or an attempt to get me to go away... either way, best not appear rude.
"Much obliged," Frankenstein murmured, accepting the tickets with a polite dip of his head. "And of course I understand, Aces is a busy man. I'll be at the bar, please let me know when he's available." Frankenstein made his way over to the bar and grabbed one of the scant few seats; the place was already filling up and the crowd seemed more interested in dancing and Zen than slouching over a glass.
"I will take the nicest synthbeer one of these will get me," Frankenstein said with an improbably creepy smile. The bartender, ever the professional, served one right up and he began nursing it. Frankestein also made sure to send a tip of 5 nuyen over to the bartender's public commlink; just because you were given free drinks does not mean you have a right to be a stingy bastard, and Frankie had been in North America long enough to understand the importance of tipping. As well as the importance of not being a completely unrepetant bastard.
As time passed and Frankie nursed his synthbeer down to the foamy dregs, the dance floor began to fill up even more. Every once in a while, a haggard party girl tripping on Zen or Bliss or spirits knows what would wander near Frankie, perhaps attracted by his synthetic pheromones which were working overtime in the humid confines of the warehouse. He'd smile and nod at whatever they babbled politely, but they inevitably lost interest and wandered over to somebody younger and hunkier. Frankenstein, for his part, was all business, scanning the new comers for anybody who looked like a potential Shadowrunner.
And then he saw her. No... it can't be? Could it? Critter? Frankenstein polished off the last his drink, waiting to see if she noticed or recognized him. It looked an awful lot like her, but when he'd last seen her she'd been so young. And considering the nature of their acquaintenceship, Frankenstein was not at all certain how he would be received.
