Why would it possibly be Logic? Disguise uses Intuition, and it does when creating a disguise, so why would it not use Intuition when creating it through a build system rather than just normally?

Have your character ride a motorcycle and you can wear a full face helmet most of the time while on the public road.  And when you have to infiltrate somewhere, you can simply keep it on.

If guards see you wearing a helmet on camera or in passing they are going to become suspicious.
For places without manned security and just auto record cameras it works great.  Although, later the police may be looking for someone wearing what your were.
If you don't believe me try wearing a ski mask in a bank.  Even in -10C weather it is a bad idea.

Point.  Referencing Artisan (the closest technical skill in the same vein as this test) does use Intuition so it does make sense that the build test for Disguise use it as well.

Well, it wouldn't draw too much attention outside the bank in -10C weather. It's just that the expectation is that you remove it once you're inside out of that cold weather.

About 10 years ago we had a mission where we found out our face was a clone.
The GM read his background and decided that he was a clone reject, otherwise his character would be enjoying a pleasant job at a mega-corp.

Not gear exactly, but the Blandness Quality can help if you are building  a character around not being noticed.

Also, don't forget a good hacker to clean up those pesky surveillance videos so that they can blackmail you...errr...help you out. 

I've been re-reading about the matrix and AR/VR and it seems like augmented reality could also go far in disguising you at least in certain areas; so for blending in, if everyone is looking at you in AR, you'll look like whatever your decker/techno cooks up. If isn't wasn't for those pesky people that wear monocles...

I'll also toss out Con and Performance skills so that you'll fit in our be overlooked. Or flip it and go for ultra-flamboyant; "Sorry boss I didn't see any shady characters, I was watching the neon dwarf juggling mono-filament chainsaws!"

My Missions character has Blandness and can regularly put up threshold 8+ disguises.  You need to roll really well to discover...he looks kinda average.
