Failing to knock the thug's leg out from under him was disappointing, but not much of a surprise. I really ought to practice that more, he thought to himself as he started heading for the doorway. From the side, he saw the thug swinging his gun towards his head; barely breaking stride, he smoothly stepped to the side, avoiding the blow.

The cowboy turns as Sammy's spell reaches him.  It looks for a second like he was going to soak it again, but his eyes roll back in his and he drops to the floor soundlessly.

A scream rises out the crowd that has completely obscured Sammy's view of Pandora as the starlet emerges spider-climbing up out of the booth into the windowsill, her head off-kilter and hair taunt in a line from the fist of one of fans closest to her.  Braver crewmembers have started to grab at some of the crowd, but are not anywhere close to being able to help the girl, and badly outnumbered.

The scene to Sammy's eyes is akin to Romero-esque zombie trid.

(Still waiting on Fionn, begin second passes)

O'Connor struggled against the Swede's hold, "Alright, I'm done playin' nice! When I get out of this, I'm gonna carve out your fraggin' heart and shove it up your hoop!"

"What the drek was that?" asked Clem out loud, the message clearly intended for O'Connor. She then got up to her feet and tried to get her bearings straight, ready to pounce on Mohawk at the next opportunity.

So that's getting back up into a proper fighting position and making sure she still has her stuff with her, more importantly het stun baton

The scarred man stops long enough to get his baton and then gives chase to Torley.

Now her direct attacker was down and she was still standing behind the bar, a bit protected from the rest of the crowd, it was time to focus on taking away whatever influence was holding these people.  She hoped that this would also bring back common sense to the group attacking Pandora.  So she switched her sight to astral to search for the mage to lob a stunbolt at him.  She could also use this moment to take a closer look at the spirit.

2 simple actions: observe in detail on the astral: 1 to have a closer look at the spirit and then to search for the mage (who has to be in the room somewhere).

1hit but glitch on the spirit, 2 hits on searching for the mage via his/her astral signature.

This close to the crowd, Astral Space is a riot of emotions, making it difficult to pick out any details, but Sammy can finally see the mage on the astral, he is sustaining multiple spells and has indeed stolen control of her spirit from her.  The shock to her heightened perceptions causes her to involuntarily cry out which draws the attention of the mage and his grin is absolutely maniacal.

(O'Connor and Clem, take your third and fourth passes)

O'Connor, in his successful effort to free himself from the hold, didn't even register Clem's question. He quickly scrambled to his feet. A wicked grin spread across his face as he drew his knife with his free hand. It didn't take a genius to figure out O'Connor's next move.

Clem tried to shrug off the disorientation she was feeling and swung at her attacker with her stun baton, her body reminding itself of her training rather than her rationalising her movements.

Agility 7 + Close Combat Group 4 - Shocked 2 - Wound Modifiers 1 (8d6.hits(5)=4) no glitches. Just so I know how long to apply the shock modifier for, Mohawk got 2 net hits on Clem, right?

(OOC: Both of you are missing the -2 for the strobe from the drone, it didn't affect your rolls but be aware it is there.)

Clementine finally lands a solid shot on Mohawk, who looks hurt but is not out of the fight, O'Connor is not so lucky as The Swede manages to deflect the blade into the floor.

Torley comes crashing into the room with the scarred fighter in close pursuit, armed with pistol and stun baton as the round ends.

The first indication there is a problem is an odd taste on the back of O'Connor's tongue, like the feed tube he had down his throat when he woke up after the Donnellys jumped him into their gang in prison.  He started to spit it out but he couldn't draw a breath, couldn't even move or talk as his vision shifted and he was lifted off the ground slightly.

surprise check for spirit turn (14d6.hits(5)=6, 11d6.hits(5)=5, 8d6.hits(5)=1, 7d6.hits(5)=0)
Spirit has surprise this round on all in the armor area, no one can act against it for their first pass. (Or in Torley's case, at all)

11d6.hits(5)=2

O'Connor, resist 2x 6S attacks with Body only, no actions in your first pass since you are Engulf-ed and can't act against the spirit until second IP

Clem, first pass action.

Clementine, glad her last attack connected, tried to hit Mohawk once more in an attempt to finish him off quickly and move on.

Mohawk parries but not far enough and the second jolt is enough to put him down, as he falls you lock eyes with the scarred black man in the doorway.  A good deed never goes unpunished, neh?

Torley, then Sammy, but feel free to act out of order since you are separated.

Sammy had seen the mage, and now it was time to do something about said mage, as dropping her would also make the spirit go away.  Moving her arms in symbols again, she threw a big stunbolt at him, trying to take him down in one go.  It was dangerous, but the only option they had.

force 7 stunbolt.

reroll non-hits using edge (because with 2 hits I'll never make it):

As soon as he entered the room, Sam's eyes were looking for somewhere he could get out of the way and let Clem and O'Connor deal with his "friend". Spotting the armor cases, he dove to get behind them.

Though this may be tempting fate/the GM (since this may or may not be necessary), I'll go ahead and take a gymnastics roll for this:
