Well I think the primary goal here is still getting gas masks ASAP more than really raiding their supplies.  I mean, the only thing we know about these guys so far is that they have deadly gas and aren't afraid to use it.

Well, Andy had also mentioned that one option was to find info that the Devil's Cut (former dominant gang) could use to muscle out the Mongrels. So if we point the mongrels in that direction it would kinda fit into what Andy asked of us (think he mentioned this in his office to Slim, Trance and Angel).

@reyjinn Yep that's correct. Basically DC are heavily outgunned so they can't hope to go head on. They need info or... something else that will level the playing field.

Something like stirring up a gang war between the Mongrels and a different gang?

@Slowdeck They have basically driven any other rival gang of note from the island. With the bridge closed for now it would be a difficult place to start. But that is basically what Andy was hinting at earlier on. DC would be keen to get their turf back, it also seems Andy would rather work with them, plus they would owe him a massive favour if he was the main force behind the Mongrel's being removed from the island.

@Tenlaar I am going to assume that you've been on the island for a short while and that John has given you a contact for a Talisman that operates on the island for reagents. As he's not a contact I'll say you pay full price for everything, and you're pretty low on the priority list., you've only dealt with him once so you also assume that if you called at this time he'd cut you off. Cool?

Edit: Lets say his name's Makumba, speaks with a portuguese accent, acts very strange, very shifty and paranoid. You don't really like him, but it's the only contact you have on Fox Island for reagents

Alrighty, good to know.  I should be set as far as reagents go for the night since I started with 50 drams.  Which, if anybody was wondering, only weighs a hair more than half a pound using the high end of the weight variance in the book.  We'll see how much that's changed by the morning!

That'll also be good for maybe picking up another lowish Force foci or two as we go along, since they only take an hour per Force to bond.  Nice quick way to use some karma.

OH OH OH!  I also forgot to freak out for a second!  Porcupine Tree has been my favorite band for over a decade and it absolutely kills me that so few people know them over here.  There are songs of theirs so heavily connected to events in my life (in my brain, that is) that I can only listen to those songs when I have time to sit there and be introspective for a bit.
