I'd say there is zero chance that his gang wasn't doing some kind of protection racket.

The gang probably was. Trance would have a major problem if he armed innocents. Not his gang; him personally. He's not part of the gang anymore, after all, so if they're harming innocents now, she can't hold him accountable.

I meant that to say if he was involved in any through his gang activity, but yeah.  Cheshire blames his life falling down around him, and the destruction of everything his mother held dear and worked basically her whole life for, on extortionists.  He's not going to take kindly to anybody involved in the business, even if they weren't really behind it.

Slim walked away from the gang with a relatively clean conscience. He never killed anyone who wasn't trying to kill him, never did anything that wouldn't heal with enough time. He is by no means a boy scout but there were simply other guys in the gang better suited for slapping around some shopkeepers, guys that enjoyed that part of the life.
In all honesty I should think both Cheshire and Trance would have problems with Slim if they knew everything he had actually done, never mind if they believe the rumors that Duck has heard.
Slim didn't leave the gang because of a guilty conscience and a desire to be a better man, if the other option hadn't been 'Die' he would still be in the gang.

@Poindexter I planned on a short session to see how things went, but I'm very happy with all my players and feel lucky to have you all I will probably have some downtime between runs to write the next portion, however as I said earlier you would all get first priority if you enjoyed my game and wanted to carry on

@reyjinn I'm also very interested in seeing how players react to your past. I like the fact the negative quality actually means something to the players as well. Duck has portrayed that well and I'm interested to see how Trance and Cheshire react too.

I'm trying to figure out who duck thinks is attractive and ive decided that's his deciding factor.
