I know the answer I want to give, but I think it's not the answer you're looking for.

Check the Ammunition table on page 433. At the top of the left-most column it says "Ammo, Per 10 Shots."

Depends entirely on what you mean by a box.

Do you mean a clip? Then it depends on the gun.

Do you mean a package you buy? Then as SlowDeck said, the costs are listed per 10 shots.

Do you mean a box that you might find in an ammo cache? Then it depends entirely on how big that box is, what type of ammo it is, and if you really care to go into that detail.

Yeah, those prices are per 10 bullets, but not all clips are in multiples of 10s, so the OCD part of me has to buy them in quantities that are both a multiple of 10 and a multiple of the clip size. So like for my Ingram Smartgun X, I have to buy at least 160 bullets at a time, because the clip size is 32,  and that's the minimum I can buy without having any bullets left over. I know, its ridiculous, since you might not use an entire clip in a run and thus would end up having bullets left over anyways, but I can't help it.

As I said elsewhere, the Wireless Bonus for 10,000 rounds of ammo is keeping the neighbors really, really quiet.  ;D

I made the same mistake for the first few characters I made. The first one of my players noticed and corrected me.

Ah, but he didn't have it as a Wireless Bonus in 2050, now, did he?  ;D  He had his fixer make sure everyone knew he was buying it.  ;D

That makes me wrong... What is the wireless bonus from 10,000 rockets? I would imagine it would be something like this:

"Makes tax collectors sweat."

Tracker bullet?  Turned corners, all that sort of thing?  If it missed, it turned around and came back at you?  Runaway, with Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons.

Not really, out GM is big into popular mechanics and all sorts of technical stuff.  He started with the concept of how to make a rigger into an assassin and then made a very specific character called the monkey assassin, who would leave wounds in the victims to represent, hear, see and speak no evil.  He made a special type of drone bullet using diamagnetic levitation and a simple coil gun as the propellant for the bullet.  Seeing how diamagnetic levitation was able to cancel some of the effects of gravity all you needed was some place high, like a building and then used the simple coil gun to fire it up into the air wait till it reached terminal and begin steering the thing on target.  The bullets were custom cast using a special process that allowed for a diamond coating, again stuff that can be done today, and then simply used the control system of a fly spy to control the bullet.  Never figured out how he stopped the bullets to reuse them we were just hired to track him and stop him.  Nice guy, we had tea before we brought him into the cops.  Right now he has a book deal going on about his crusade against slavery and drug rings, who were his targets.

That is actually pretty badass. Slightly more expensive than one could appreciate, but still awesome in concept.
