@Cheshire
You feel at home. There's nothing like the feel of leaving your physical body, the meat and entering the astral plane. Makeing sure Crash keeps his word, you stick around briefly. Looks like he's good. You shoot off through the door, up the stairs. Before you leave, you try a sneak peak at Andy's office, it's as you suspected. Wards surround the entire room, drek, looking around you notice every room in this hallway is warded. You wonder how much Andy spent, he must love his privacy...
Launching yourself off, you fly in to the air, the life force of the people below fading as you make your way to Fox Island Bridge. Stars shoot by overhead as you make haste, faster than any VTOL could travel. Drek, Andy didn't give you the gang's location, you wonder if that's taken a back seat to the news report. In no time at all you're near the bridge. You scan around, noticing a tent, the cars on the bridge and what obviously is the location of the explosion. You scan around, where to look first?
@Trance
Feeling Andy is up to something, you give him the once over, who knows how shady this guy is. You notice a stupid looking cane leaning against his desk. You take a closer look, noticing a small, but identifiable button near the thumb groove. You wonder what nasty surprise awaits the receiving end of that, definitely shady. Despite that, you get the feeling he's not all bad and for some strange reason you trust him. Probably at least worth a listen, at least.
"If I wantad brave, lady, my friend here woulda been more than fine" he laughs, pointing his cane toward Axle leaving the room. As the door closes he contiues "If I'da wantad stupid, well" he laughs motioning toward the door again. "Mini Boom eh? Crazy, crazy bastard!" Andy cuts the end from a fresh cigar, sparking a match and lighting up. "Ask tha crazy fool bout his cyber" he laughs "But if he sent ya, I can trust ya, can't I?"
@Slim
Andy puts down his glass, turning to you "I know about ya friend. My boy be gettin her now. Seems Joe been busy lately, mon. Two of ya in my bar..."
@Angel
You rip the tag from your pack, dropping it and grinding it to pieces with your shoe. You shift away from the crowd, drek, it's pretty packed. You wonder why you came here, thinking about leaving before remember the bridge and the two assailants from earlier in the evening.
Luckily the troll returns "He's expecting you, let's go" he barks before walking off. He lead you to a door, you realise you've never actually spoken with Andy, though you have seen him from a distance. You enter, seeing Andy with two others, a short, young girl with crazy green hair and an older male, charcoal coat, short brown hair. You assume the male is Slim, it looks like he can handle himself in a fight.
@Trance @Slim @Angel
Andy sets down the glass "Right, we all be here, time ta talk business" He pulls his shoulders back, stretching before continuing. "I believe I had a run down from our mutal friends Joe and Boom. Maybe you be able ta help" he cracks his knuckles "Looks like the island going to drek since Slash was killed, bad for business. I need someone to look in to tha new leader of the Mongrel's, I wouldant be surprised they be responsible for tha explosion, mon"
He looks around at each of you "Where be my manners? You don't know each otha, I give you some time, talk it over, knock on the door when ya done" he rises, opening the door to leave speaking to Axle "Get me when they ready, mon, feedin time for tha girls"
Axle shuts the door, it looks like the three of you are alone...
@DuckDown
"Hoi, drek, tight set Chummer! That break down was wiz!" The bartender nods approvingly. "Out back, near the rear car park. Take the stairs on the left, room 3. You're gonna have to walk around the side though, no rear exit" he reaches in to his pocket, handing you a key card.
Damn, going to have to carry the drums a little further. You sling your kit over your shoulder, exiting at the side entrance. Two large, awful smelling rubbish bins are to your right. You see an old man, passed out, surrounded in vomit. Better him than you, drek, that could have been you if you'd kept up those shots with Deen. You head left, down the alley, toward the back of the bar. The carpark's still almost full, looks like the party will be pumping a while longer yet. You see a gathering of people near the exit, looks like two fools are going at it. You hear a smash as one bottles the other. Idiots...
You easily find the stairs, adjusting the straps of your bags before ascending. You swipe the card, opening the door. You notice the door is heavy, wondering what it could be made from. The room is nothing special, there's a single bed in the corner, gas burner, no fridge. Drek, hardly enough for 2 let along 4. You wonder if Deen would have cared, she was worse that usual tonight.
Setting down your kit, you consider the zen you'd rolled earlier, though deciding against it. Thinking about the job ahead, you close the door, time to roll, you head toward the pickup…
@Kitty
You bound over to the host, initiating a scan as you approach. Looking to spot anything hidden, you bring up a search, text filling your HUD as you look around. Interesting... You spot a ship icon, hidden, it's the only one that isn't broadcasting. You take note, focusing your attention back to the host. Placing your paw at the front door, you try your luck.
>>Hack-on-the-fly
>>Initiating…
Several moments later, a cat door appears, that was easy. You smile, licking a paw before making your way inside.
Filing cabinets fill the room, hanging lights flicker, swinging slightly from above. The room appears as a warehouse, packed with cabinets. You leap to the top of the closest cabinet, leaning over the edge, curiously looking upside down at the label. Seems these files are organised by date, you wonder where the latest files are kept... You hunt around, leaping from cabinet to cabinet, as agile as any kitten. You feel like you're making good progress, not long and you'll find what you're looking for. Not long after, a security guard enters, flashlight scanning the room. Shit, patrol IC, best be careful...
Getting low, jumping from the top of the filing cabinet you silently land, moving on all fours away from the patrol. The last thing you need is the guard calling something more nasty... You creep as quietly as you can, finally coming to the cabinet you're after. First looking around for guards, you give the locked cabinet your attention.
