Gecko Crawl (Physical)

The Gecko Crawl spell allows the subject to walk along vertical or overhead surfaces at a movement rate equal to Force x hits in meters per turn. The subject is still affected by gravity and will fall if separated from the surface. The game - master may require Climbing Tests in order or the subject to climb especially slick surfaces. The caster must touch the subject of the spell.

So I was thinking about it, and I think I would rather go ahead and pay the extra for Samuel to have a little alchemy work station set up in his apartment.  Stuff that he has bought or snagged from the talismonger's shop over the years.  That way the opposed roll during preparation creation will hopefully be more manageable most of the time (the rest being the odd on the spot creation.)  Should we all be looking at low lifestyle here?

As far as contacts, the most obvious one is the talismonger.  Another that I was thinking about was one of the neighbors mentioned in the little backstory before but I haven't decided on the husband or wife and what their useful job would be.  If there is a way you'd like to work either of those into your story just let me know and you can craft them yourself, otherwise I'll throw them together.

Cynthia Wells [human, 33 y/o]. Lawyer. Currently living with Jack Martin [human, 42 y/o, Lawyer for Exxoco Petrochem].
Cynthia is a true believer in the letter of the law, due process and being innocent until proven guilty.  She works at a law office offering pro bono council for those in need. She was distraught when she found out that Francis had been routinely tampering with evidence betraying the law she tries so hard to uphold. The sense of betrayal was such that she couldn’t find it in her to give Francis another chance.
Complicating matters was the fact that she was pregnant with their first child at the time of Francis’ dismissal from the DA’s office. She is convinced that Francis is not an acceptable influence in her son’s life so she uses every legal avenue available to her to limit their time together.
Currently Francis has the right of three 4 hour visits/2 weeks, that arrangement is up for review in 7 months when John turns 1 year old.

@Poindexter, turns out you were WAY right about her being over the top tried several times to concoct a back story that could account for her vitriol and they were all horrible/unbelievable/gamebreaking. So I toned it down a bit, she is a bit of a fundamentalist and was really, really hurt to find out that Francis didn't turn out to be the man she thought he was (remember that he came into the DA's office with quite fantastical ideas about how he would make a difference).
