Starting a wed night 5'th edition campaign, probably around 7 or 8pm est time, weekly..hopefully running about 3-4 hours per session.
My plan is to have all ic actions, (mostly the ic conversations) over roll20 typing, because I feel people are more expressive and comfortable when typing then when talking. Actions such as combat, deciding what to do, ooc plotting, legwork, etc etc can be done over skype voice chat..to save time.
A few house rules will be:
-No mystic Adepts will be allowed.
-There will be a limit to 1 mage in the party, and 1 adept. (I'm planning to only have a team of 4 on this campaign)
I've also eliminated the Control Actions, Mob control, Control Thoughts, Mob mind, influence, etc spells, because I feel them too powergamey.

Furthermore on the powergameing thing, there's gonna be a limit of only 1 (non special) attribute allowed to be at the races minimum.
Chargen will follow standard A-B-C-D-E creation.
Run and gun stuff will be allowed.
There's a couple other rules but they'll be explained in game. They don't effect chargen or anything like that.
This isn't a rule, but The setting (which i'm keeping secret) will make playing hackers or technomancers hard. Feel free to play one though!
Alright now that all that technical boring stuff is over with, here's the campaign:
Zinech Corp. The name was catching on like wildfire. It seemed like every other billboard across several countries had an advertisment for Zinech Corp to improve their lives. The problem was, no one knew what they did or who they were. The offical description of the corporation was "Useing applied sciences to further benifiet mankind". Sounds a little like Horizon, right? It's no coincidence that many people thought it may be a subsidiary of them. Problem was, there was no proof.
Whoever Zinech was, didn't really matter. They offered you big. 100,000 nuyen big, upon completion. It was a simple data theft from a nearby labratory building. Problem was, the run wasn't simple. It went wrong. Horribly horribly wrong. Drones...well geared security.. You and your team barely got out with your lives. It was a mess. The johnson from Zinech didn't seem pleased, but offered to help. Next thing you know, he's relocateing you..without telling you the who, where or why. One thing's for sure though. Things were too hot in the states for you.
Morality: Morality will be very questionable in this game. Where you are going you will be asked to do some bad things, as well as some good things, and mostly to turn a blind eye to some very bad things, all in the name of survival. This includes possibly haveing to kill children as young as 8 years old. It is not something that i want to be done a lot, but for a richer rp experience the realisim of the world must be maintained. Slavery is also a major issue plaguing this area. There are several kinds of slavery going on.
Racisim: Racisim will also be a big issue. As will sexisim. Where you are going, your race..not your metatype..will draw some scorn from the locals. They don't like outsiders. Women are also viewed as insuperiour. Many of the people who hire you will have a more elevated stance on things like sexisim and racisim..recognizing a shadowruns potential is in their actions. However, there are other factors in play...regular people...who have their views pretty set.
Violence: Violence will play a part in the campaign, of course, but the level of description of the role playing of violence can easily be changed without effecting the story..and is totally up to the players to decide the comfort level of.
Sexuality: The place you are going is not a good place. Rape is a major threat to people in this setting, and is not uncommon. Sex(like in most shadowrun campaigns) and nudity also prevail. That being said that rape and sex will -never- be role played out, though mentions of such may come into play.
Language(Swearing and such): [ Fully Up to group.
Sign up below if interested. It's kind of first come, first serve, but I prefer newbs(because i'm sure lots of mistakes will be made, which might frustrate more vetran players) and a good backstory and interesting char will jump ahead of someone who doesn't have one.
