So, I've been a GM for about 3-4 games now, done some cool stuff, but my most impressive group was by far the group that ended up obliterating Seattle within 3 game sessions, a total of about 5 in game weeks.
It began with a group of novice runners, Shroud, the rigger elf, Maxwell, the gun mage, and Sam, our gun man. So, first session, we were set a mission by the Johnson to assassinate a target at a social event, simple job, but these being novices (in game and OOC), they decided they'd enter the building and do the job from within, so after much fiddling around and Shroud failing most of his hacking checks, we'd set up the gig, Sam was up in a window with a high calibre sniper rifle, Shroud was attempting to goad the target into the open, and Maxwell was setting up our escape by setting fire too the stage and setting off the fire alarm. After Shrouds attempts of taking the target into the open Sam took the shot and Maxwell set fire to the stage, accidentally setting the whole building on fire and meaning that everyone had to get away, no biggie. They got paid
Session 2, We're sent out to the a research facility out in the deserts for Aztech, we get there, find the place abandoned, and explore, we find some kind of monster, this thing had the ability to regenerate faster than Sam and Maxwell could do damage, Shroud had managed to hack into a safe and found some strange blue vials, which he then stored, after killing the monster and having nothing left but its heart and a few chunks of meat, they left only to find out that Aztech had double crossed them, sending a team to deal with them and clear the area, so Shroud, for some reason, injects the blue vials (which were highly experimental and mutagenic) into the monsters heart, creating an even more powerful, faster regenerating creature, at the same time having the infected material grow into his own hand and causing him to begin mutating, so the new monster attacks the assault team while Sam and Maxwell are left with Shroud becoming a monster, they decide to cut off Shrouds hand with a medical laser, but neither of them having any experience this goes badly and Shroud gets K.O.d. They call it quits, run for it before the monster turns on them, and at the last moment, they detonate the defense procedures of the building, destroying it. One job failed
Session 3, Shroud goes to get a new cyber hand and gets contacted by his fixer, telling him there's something interesting going on down town, they investigate, and find that some of the megacorps have started an auction, selling off some of their new tech to the highest bidder, after some talking around Shroud manages to sneak his way up too the top floor where all the executives are, and finds one of the main share holders for Aztech, now, for some reason (I still don't completely understand why) they decide they are going to kill him to punish Aztech for what they did, Shroud has some cyanide on him, which is perfect, but he also still has some of the blue vials from session 2, and he decides to pour this mutigen into the share holders drink, this turns the shareholder into another monstrosity, this thing more powerful than the last, and so Shroud decides to activate some of the rooms countermeasures, namely, the explosive gas canisters stored in the back, as this monstrosity eats the inhabitants of the room and attacks everyone in sight, Maxwell decides he needs to end this, both Sam and Shroud had escaped, and having used the Knucklebone of Fickle fortune (every character had a rare artifact they began with), he would be revived, so he uses all of his arcane energy, all that exists within him and the surrounding area, to detonate the gas, the issue was, he got a critical fail, this detonated not only the room, but the sheer force of his powers and the laylines nearby, meant that he caused what could only be compared too a small nuclear blast, destroying most of Seattle's higher districts and obliterating many officials and innocents. Shroud barely manages to escape, and Sam managed to survive too, but Seattle had become a boneyard. This is how we destroyed Seattle
There is a lot more too this story, but for speed I avoided it, and it continued past this point (for about another 2 sessions)

I have to admit that I laughed rather fiercely over this one. Years of GMing groups of shadowrun and others has given me an appreciation for what new and unorthodox players can do. As well as the power of glitching dice rolls.

I love the logic of "That guy works for Az? Hey Jim, didn't Az cost you your hand?" "yeah!" "fuck that guy, let's kill him!"

And most teams would have gone "yeah"

But I hear this one handed guy on the team go "Wait.... Wait.....I got an idea."
