Ok, this is a off topic, right? And bacon should not blow off FastJack Frags, right?
Did you know, there are dozens ways of preparing Bacon. That is obvious, right? But bacon can be a different meat at all.
Examples? Polish bacon is fat. It is the fat part of,... pigs meat. The english bacon? Is the skinny one. And when I mean skinny I mean both it is thin and low on fat. To make it crispy you should let the water evaporate before frying. And it should be raw. While the polish 'skwarki' is not about beeing crispy, but about beeing fat. You should not cut out thin slices, but thick greaves. Fry if long enought so the meet will release all of its fat. Let it cool down, so it will become lard. Put this mixed lard and meat on bread, add some salt, and gherkin...
The Slovakian cooking, is terrible. Really fat, and boring in taste. I do understand that my ancestor needed it to survive... but I'm glad, that today we can eat vegetables from all around the world. Like Bananas and chocolate!
One Vegetarian taught me how to make them. Simple, set oven to about 160'C, and cut bananas along. Not throu, just from one side, so you can put inside the chocolate. It will be easier if you will cult along inside curved edge of it. 4 peaces of standard chocolade bar should be right amound for a single banana. When chocolate is inside, just wrap it with aluminum foil, and put it in owen for 15-20 minutes. Just to let the chocolate melt, and inside banana will turn soft
