Shoot him.  No, let me revise: kill him.

Should someone do the loading?  Sure.  But in a shadowrun team, all the loot (or rather, all the proceeds from the loot) needs to be split equally after costs.  If he did nothing but get you guys to near the place, he shouldn't even be on the fucking team.

Kill him first.  THEN talk to his player.

Yeah...  Find him when he's out in jacked in or something, and put a bullet in the brain-pan (or just shank him or snap his neck or tie him to some train-tracks, your call on method).  In some systems/settings, acting like that is okay(ish).   Shadowrun's theme and flavor preclude dickbaggery like that against your own team-mates, because they're the ones who keep you alive (it certainly doesn't prevent dickbaggery against other people).

Minus the gm and decker the whole group has never played before so the gm only gave light hints but would not build our characters nor should he. The high reward is a escalade like vehicle he made up owned by the arch Mage as well as access codes to the compounds armory which housed grenades, a dozen ak 98's an assortment of ares pistols and a crate of ammo and a grenade launcher. Of this the decker with our means of transport and accessing the escalade type SUV told us that he was taking half of everything in exchange for transporting it and accessing the escalade he was putting it in his name even though he did nothing to help take down the turrets in the compound take over security cameras or pull a single trigger . Which now has the rest of our group close to lynching him and selling him to my street doctor contact for parts and gear

I'm with the others here. Maybe with his next character he will be more of a team player.

 8) ok so its unanimous that we should motivate the decker to end his dickbaggery or get a columbian necktie and tbagged Halo style. Then on back to the Vehicle situation.   We are thinking Bulldog however once we sell off the non-Escalade of the ArchMage and the guns the gm says we should be looking to split around 300,000 nY  9 ways.....8 if the decker decides to hardline us.

So if we do the math of the stash we got from doing the optional quest of storming the compound to take out the mage it goes as follows:

215,000 nY           non-Escalade (close to BMW Exeter 960)
     25,000                 ( 1 ) dozen AK 98's
     12,000                  Ares pistols
        1,700                  Ares Antioch Grenade Launcher
        3,000                  Assorted Grenades
+ 36,000                   Crate of 450 boxes of APDS ammunition

for a grand total of 292,700 nY

now split 9 ways (being optimistic) thats  32,522 nY a person
Split 8 ways thats                                            36587 nY

which leaves us a possible 97,566 to spend on a vehicle :
keeping this in mind which would be the best bang for our buck in buying a truck or Van

so far im liking the look of either a BullDog step up and outfitting it and still keeping 10 k a piece or
going for a Renraku Kuma on the higher end side of what we can buy.

all suggestions welcome

IMO,  definitely force him to burn edge, leave him in a ditch,  take his van, then spend the loot cash on upgrades.

The gm is very cool long time friend the decker has been playing years and all 8 others of us have never played when I say missions I'm mean we have played 5 sessions not 5 missions. That was my fault also our gm is pretty tight and he has a very what happens happens I'm only a narrator and loose guiding deity. The reason it was a party wipe is that half our group wasn't there the compound had a incredibly powerful Mage who in a previous encounted was destroying blood vessels of everyone in an area and almost killed 3 of us. Out gm believes in high risk high reward encounters. All this aside the decker by his characters nature is a cowardly opportunist and the player is enjoying that role a little too much. The rigger has a bike the Mage had a bike I don't because I spent all my money on gear and bio ware. We decided to pool our money and get a bulldog step van

This stuff is really hard to read. Consider using more punctuation.

1.  Light hints.  No.  GM should flat out tell you if your making a potential blunder.  AKA.  Samurai w/ No Vehicle  &/or  Rigger w/ only a Bike.
2.  Decker is a Dbag & If he doesn't retcon his actions he should be DX'd.  Into a Swamp.  W/O a Pulse.

This decker is essentially stealing from the rest of the team.  If he wants to roleplay a cowardly dick like that, fine, but I would expect his teammates to correctly roleplay how THEY would react to said dick stealing from them (e.g., bullet to the brain, as has been suggested).

I dunno. I feel like severe ass beating before it goes as far as bullet to the brain, but that's just the teams i roll with.

But if you kill him, you'll be able to fence his gear. :P

A severe ass-beating gives said decker a chance and a reason to screw you over later on, however.

I disagree on the "all loot must be shared" thing somewhat. Not in all cases, but if you've got a good team (as in, group of players) and it's an outfit that works together then it makes no sense to not let the mage have the Weapon Focus Sword or letting the Rigger take the bad guys car (IF it is possible, of course) and take it for himself.

One of our players actually said "ok, sure, you can have that sword if you pay the rest of us X nuyen" and the rest of the group just stared at him like "get outta here". The reasoning behind this is that if this piece of gear will make him better at his job, then it's a benefit to the entire team and thus should be allowed.

Of course, it depends on the team you have. In this situation I think the decker is being an asshole and the GM doesn't know what he's doing.

EDITED:

Minus the gm and decker the whole group has never played before so the gm only gave light hints but would not build our characters nor should he.

No. New players NEED to be guided. If it means that you sit down with him for an hour or two and make his character with him/for him, so be it. It's better than looking at the character after he has spent a day or two with it and then telling why it will not work. Especially if "new player" means "I'm too lazy to learn the rules or the lore but want to throw die and kill bad guys"

I don't think a Sam NEEDS to have a vehicle. Sure, he should, but I don't find it a necessity.

Ok so I think I did a bad job of describing my gm. Dude is legit I said he helped and have hints and allowed us to ask him questions on viability but he didn't give us predetermined min maxed characters. Guy helped me a lot on my street Sam and helped me make it to my idea. The reason my Sam didn't have a vehicle is because I made a character that was a mix of samurai jack and predator species from the Alien franchise.

I can see it going both ways.
I mean a top end Cyberdeck or an early edition Power Focus (Back when they were 100KxForce) is a LOT of money.

So while I wouldn't expect a Decker or Mage to pay everyone their share of said item.  If its a Million$ item the idea to fence it isn't exactly a bad one.

At the very least I can see that if they kept said item that they would give up their share of the loot to the rest of the team.  Or perhaps have a rotating "uber" item reward for the really big stuff.   Cyberdecks=Deckers, Foci-Awakened, Vehicles-Riggers,

For Samurai or Face types they don't really have $100K plus Items.  Maybe some Military grade stuff for the Sams.  For the Face, new clothes?  He's going to need a bigger bank roll maybe to do his job better.  So the others giving up their share of large hauls isn't a horrible idea.  Especially when it comes time for the Samurai to spend some time at a Cyber-clinic getting upgrades.

"Here's the key to the mansion. The rent's been paid for an year." (1,2 mil or 120K, luxury or high)

"Ruthenium Polymer coating for a fashionable cloak, sir?" (20K + cost of cloak)

"Well, the stiff apparently owned his own apartment... It's not big, but we could use it as a hideout if shit happens, so ka? Hey, [Decker], let's change these ownership files to my Fake Sin number X" (200K)

"Well, as your service was unusually superb, we COULD have one Suprathyroid gland go missing..." OR "Hey, we weren't told NOT to loot of this medtech facility, right? I'm taking this with me!" (140K)

And in some cases you need to think of the availability as well... Though unless you have the extremely hard-hitting and not-at-all subtle Sammie, the first few of these won't apply...

"You guys are military contractors, right? How say you have a suit of milspec armour... Disappear, right?" (35K with a helmet)

"Huh? Isn't this an Heavy ARES redline? And a box of power backpacks? Yoink!" (40-50K)

"Hey, that dead Troll's Assault cannon seems to be in working condition... And hey, their gun stash has atleast a hundred rounds for this thing!" (47K)

"A Mitsubishi Yakusoku? Drek, these guys were preparing for war. Good thing they didn't get the chance to use it, eh [Rigger]?" (14K and ten Anti-vehicle rockets would go for 28K whilst missiles with a suitable sensor system would be... 38K? 48K?)

Last but not least...

"Hey, have a Armadillo armored space suit for you and members of your team. Who knows, maybe you might get to use them soon, hyuk hyuk hyuk." (140K for a team of four)
