Do I need to roll something to get down with her help?

And the Elf might as well try to talk some sense into the dwarf; con to try to calm him down?

I'll wait until I get down before posting more. having sseen some of our stuff I'll try to gauge how much the others weigh, and then suggest everyone else stays in the back, and see if I'm brave enough to volunteer to get all the stuff from the front of the car (composure?)

Do i understand the curse the dwarf just used in lakotish?

You can spend some of your Knowledge points to know Lakotish if you would like to. You have Bilingual, but for Russian.

You don't have to roll anything unless you're getting down under your own power.

You consider lying to the dwarf to calm him down ("Everything is fine!" being an obvious lie.) You have Con 5.

Composure to go to the front works for me, yeah. You have Charisma 7 + Willpower 6. And don't forget you have a wound penalty if you do roll anything.

The Masked Woman
7. Help the Elf down, per her request, using Strength as a default but seeing if any other method (e.g. a spell) comes naturally
8. Assense the elf
9. General Perception roll
10. I would try to calm the dwarf, but it appears I am not much of a leader. A spell, perhaps? If one comes to mind.

7. Completely whiff helping the elf physically: 0 hits

8. Assensing the elf, who is probably unimpressed: 2 hits

9. General Perception: 7 hits! Luckily my Mental Limit is 8, and the Vision Enhancement mod would raise that to 11 anyway.

10. Not going to cast Influence on the Dwarf, who is appears Awakened and might resent it. Instead, I will cast Magic Fingers to fetch the bags from up front.

Spellcasting Magic Finger @ F4: 2 hits. So only Str 2 + Agi 2, but hopefully that's enough to just drag them back.
Soaking 2S Drain: 3 hits

You grab the elf and attempt to let her down gently. You apparently completely misjudged her weight, because you utterly fail to support her. She rolls Agility 4 + Gymnastics 2 to try and save herself.

Agility (4) + Gymnastics (2) - 1 wound: 5d6t5 3

And she succeeds, landing somewhat gracefully. You took the seatbelt off, so I guess you can call that helping.

You assense her, getting a general idea of her health (she has 1 wound), determine her emotional state, and see her as mundane. You see no implants in her body.

You spot all the bullet holes in the sides of the vehicle, all the gear previously mentioned, as well as a glint of something metallic from inside the broken crate.

You cast magic fingers and are able to safely pull the bag of gear out from under the driver's seat and drag it to the back of the van, as well as getting the medkit down and the bag of gear that's above the troll. You can't budge the crate at Strength 2.

The elf has Agility 4 and Athletics Group 2.

Two actions that might warrant a roll:
1. Downloading GPS coordinates and map - do i need to roll for public data? If yes, i surmise this would be a quick matrix search.
2. Trying to shake the others up some, to get more activity - possibly a Leadership roll, with the rally specialization?

1. GPS coordinates doesn't require a roll, and tells you you're in the mountains of Colorado in the PCC. A more exact map is an easy General Knowledge or Public Matrix Search, yeah. Threshold 1, 1 minute. Your Computer skill is 2, and there is a Noise of 3 here.
2. You have Charisma 4 and Leadership 1.

Ok, next set of actions for the troll will be to check all the equipment he has on him. CHIEF among things he hopes to find is a commlink. He'll also pull the goggles down over his eyes just in case there's some shooting to be done soon.

I will leave the matrix search for later, when i have time to fiddle with the comm. Here's the leadership roll.
CHA(4) + Leadership(1) (5d6.hits(5)=3) (Hopefully, i have at least 3 as a Social limit.)

@fellow players: please don't misunderstand the leadership roll here, i don't want to force my will on you, just feel like it would help recover us from the shock of the situation.

After a quick patdown, the troll finds a Transys Avalon commlink in one of the pockets of his combat gear. He also notes that he's wearing a subvocal mic, and has a spare clip of microgrenades for the underbarrel launcher. He identifies them as thermal smoke.

You pull your goggles down and the commlink immediately comes to life. You notice two things: Your language settings are set to Russian, and you are fluent in Russian.

Goggles (Capacity 6)
[1] Trodes
[1] Smartlink
[2] Vision Enhancement (Rating 2)
[1] Flare Compensation

Your Social Limit is 5.

And everyone resists!

Masked Woman: Willpower (6) + Defaulting (-1): 5d6t5 3
Crumpled Man: Willpower (5) + Defaulting (-1): 4d6t5 2
The Elf: Willpower (6) + Defaulting (-1): 5d6t5 3
The Dwarf: Willpower (6) + Leadership (6): 12d6t5 2
The Ork: Willpower (5) + Defaulting (-1): 4d6t5 1
The Troll: Willpower (5) + Defaulting (-1): 4d6t5 0

For the most part, you're surprisingly convincing.

You all now know your Willpower attribute. The Dwarf has the Influence Skill Group at 6.

11. I'd like to see if my commlink is part of a wide area network (WAN), i.e. if it is slaved to anyone else's device here. Then I'd like to see if there are any connections between our commlinks.

12. Going to drop the Magic Fingers spell and re-cast, hopefully with better results. Not sure if this should incur a "trying again" penalty (p. 49, SR5).

Magic Fingers @ F5 = [Magic 6 + Spellcasting 6 (12d6.hits(5)=4). So Str 4 + Agi 4 now. The last 3 dice are all misses so the Trying Again -2 shouldn't affect it.
Soaking 3S drain = Drain: WIL 6 + INT 6 (12d6.hits(5)=2). A box of stun, sigh.

13. I will try to move the crate again with the Str 4.

14. If the ork doesn't respond or cannot reach, I will try to check the glove compartment or any other storage space near the front with Magic Fingers.

So far I've rolled 20 hits on 79 dice = 25.3%, which is 5th percentile rolling. I hope this doesn't continue or this is going to be a short game for me.

11. Your Computer skill is 2. You check the connections on your commlink and it doesn't look like your device is slaved to anything. Matrix Perception to check the connections for everyone else, with -3 for Noise.

I won't apply Trying Again to recasting a spell. Soaking Drain repeatedly is enough of a restriction there.

13. You mentally strain to budge the box, barely shifting it. Doesn't seem like Str 4 will cut it either.

14. I'll wait to see what Novo does in regards to the glove compartment.

It's going to take me a few turns to stabilize and heal myself. So that means while all this is happening the Crumpled man will be patching himself up and will be limited to talking.

I'll pass on the commlink check, reasoning that one of these augmented types is more suited to the job.

15. I'm going to check to see if I have a focus to sustain this spell without me, or the focused concentration to sustain it without a negative modifier.

16. Check to see if I know anything about outdoors survival, like the time it flesh (or cyber) to freeze at this temperature with this wind chill.

17. I'd like to see if I have any connection to the spirit world. Do any come when I ask?

18. I'll try to remember if I know of any spells that might aid the injured.

15. You don't have a sustaining focus or focused concentration.

16. You default to willpower on Survival. Willpower (6) + Defaulting (-1): 5d6t5 0 And you're pretty sure you're not cut out for this wilderness survival stuff. Common knowledge tells you that prolonged exposure to these temperatures, especially without insulated clothing, is probably hazardous to your health. Judging to how you're faring in the cold, you're pretty sure your clothes are insulated. (Your Lined Coat has Insulation 2)

17. You seem to have no connection with the spirits. You do not have the Conjuration skill.

18. You remember you know the Heal spell, but only as a preparation. You suddenly remember you know Alchemy. You have the Enchanting Skill Group at 5, and your mask is a Force 2 enchanting focus.
