Guys, I don’t remember, is there a weapon (the rifle or a shotgun) from what the hunters used still unclaimed? I’m not really equipped for combat vs. vehicles at the moment, but with a little luck, even a Ruger 100 can penetrate the chassis.

I was under the impression from the environmental modifiers section that you only use the largest single modifier, with tied largest counting one grade higher. Did I miss a houserule?

Ren, the Masked Woman handed the weapons to Uncle Sam to see if he thought they would be useful. See replies #96-98 of the IC thread. She was intending to take them with us - if only so they're not sitting on the side of the road as evidence - but never explicitly stated it. As for the weapons, see Ryo's post:

Sam recognizes the shotgun as a PJSS model 55, and the hunting rifle as a Springfield M1A, with a smartlink mounted on it.

My initial ruling was that any two on the same row combines to become the next row up, but it does appear to say that only happens if there are two tied for the most severe. range and visibility were tied, but not for most severe.

Alright, Uncle Sam only gets -3 from environments, for a total of -9.

You have Heavy Weapons 5.
You get +1 from your Smartlink if the wireless is on.

Agility 9 + Heavy Weapons 5 + Smartlink 1, - 6 Blind Fire -3 Environment, leaves you with 6 dice. You also have 4 Edge you can use.

You don't have to break the window, it slides open.

Huzzah. Now are you using Wireless Link or Motion Sensor? If it's the former, you've got to spend a free action to detonate it, which you have so no issues. If it's the latter, I get to roll a defense test on the Hound.

Either way, you're free to edit your post with your attack. I'll post what happens to the hound in mine.

Total Darkness (-6) has been replaced by Blinding Glare (-6). Flare Compensation moves Light from glare up two levels, to Weak Glare. Thermographic vision moves both Visibility and Light up 1 level, which would stack with Flare Comp, so Light modifiers have been reduced to 0 for those of you with Flare and Thermo.

Novocrane: Go ahead and roll your Vehicle Test. Also, where are you headed? Are you continuing towards Aspen, or are you getting off Route 82 and headed to the camp ground (and thus below tree level)?

martinchaen or Ren are free to post next, since APB would have had a turn by now, and Ace is after Chino.

As far as I'm aware, the PJSS and M1A are still in the rover and loaded, so Ace is free to pick one up and try to shoot it. He won't get the smartlink bonus though, since he does not own the guns.

Ace has the firearms group at 4, so you should already know what to roll.

The shotgun would be at Extreme range, the hunting rifle at Medium, so I assume Ace will go with the latter. He also has Flare Comp and Thermo, so the total Environmental Modifiers will be -3. Blind Fire no longer applies thanks to the spotlight.
