Rest of you guys, should we turn the screws on this joker to find out what the deal is with that house?

Yeah, depending on what Camm ends up saying, we might have to give this guy the clamps.

I'm trying to do a shadow community to roll see if Zippy had heard any rumors in the area, but dice roller is acting up..I'll add the roll when I can figure out how to log back in x.x.

So, yea. He's just thinking back to see if he'd heard anything in the streets or read anything on the net that might involve this area or this house. Being it wasn't a physical action, I didn't apply any penalty for interacting with AR. I hit my mental limit of 5 with that roll.

Edit: Here's a navigation roll if I need it to find the best routes to approach the house. I hit my limit again. I know ya didn't ask for one. I thought maybe being it was a mission you might want one, if you prefer I can just wait til you ask in the future.

rumors that may be relevant to the situation ahve been PMed to you.

As for navigation. Lets just buy hits unless it becomes important. As for the best route to approach the house, what do you mean? best mileage? most likely to avoid official attention? fastest? best roads? fewest spots to be ambushed on? most fast food joints along the route?

Straight up fastest, and also the Least likely to be found out by enemies. Also an escape route that would keep us out the most hairy areas, or just the fastest way to get the hell out and get to where we need to go after we light the house up.

Preferably, I'd like to find a spot where we can stash Taco relatively safely nearby, or at least a spot we can roll up to and unload near the house without being detected (if possible). If leaving Taco unattended is a bad idea, I'd like to try and find a spot I could send Taco to on autopilot that's near enough to extract but secure enough to be safe. If nothing else, I suppose I can set him to drive around the nearby roads waiting on us.

ok, lets talk about the ghetto.

everything north of emerson, west of phillips highway, and south of river oaks is as hood as hood gets. This is the kinda place where no one has a gun cause they already sold it for dope. no one has a link unless they're on BTLs, no one has a car unless it's their house. most of the homes are squats with no real doors or electricity. most of the roads are blocked in a new way each and every day as trash, cars, wreckage, and people move around the place. There's really no place you can stash a vehicle on the fly that wont get seen and fucked with.
Now, phillips highway is clear and well maintained, but that means its also patrolled by lonestar. Not only that, but phillips highway IS the eastern edge of KF turf, so the cops on that patrol are exceptionally on edge for threats and people that look out of place. Now, once ya get far enough south to hit university or far enough east to hit beach blvd, you should be homefree, but getting in or out with a vehicle is GOING to get noticed by someone. The hood is just too deep, too tight, too insular. And if the vehicle looks out of place, it will get reported to someone.

Huh, iirc Francis lives somewhere in that area, that might need to change if it is THAT bad

i was imagining you living JUST east of phillips highway in one of those little apartment complexes between pillips and 95. Those aint TOO bad, just due to the space between buildings. but it's still low lifestyle and its still in KF turf.

Ok. It sounds like depending on where the house is located, we need to find somewhere to park the car and finish on foot then. What do you guys think? St Augustine, Emerson, and atlantic seem like they might be possibilities. They all cross over into west side. I mean, I'm totally down for drivin through an obstacle course. It might get hot, though. I have enough seating for the crew, and I should have plenty of trunk space. I imagine the entirity of my gear in the trunkis about a large backpack sized with a shotgun.

If we're going to take the car in, we'll need to be fast. We'll need to get in, drive the occupants out, light it up, and roll out. I imagine that I'll spend some edge at this point :p.

Oops. I looked at the house, but I forgot the address. Haha, sorry. What does the area on the other side of phillips look like where St Augustine crosses over? There's a big building there Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. Map says its definitely in walking distance of our target. I think it says 10-15 minutes from that building to 3349 St Augustine.

As you head north, that close to the bridge, it starts to get real corporate in a hurry, especially ON the road. The city likes to portray a nice veneer to visitors, so they try to keep a good front up near all the bridges.

That may be the way to go if we can get paid parking or something that isn't going to get towed from an hour or two of being parked. What's the HTR response time in West side? We'll need to know our window of opportunity from when the flames (or shooting) starts.

Actually, would Baba know a safehouse we could lay low in for a day or two? If so, I could drive us to a safe spot and we could hole up somewhere until we can make a low profile exit. Then I could just send Taco home and not have to worry about that either.

1- you wouldnt know the HTR response time, but you'd assume it was quick near the bridge. As for the "west side", that's where you guys are right now. The spot this traphouse is located is known as "east side" as it's on the east side of the st johns river.

2- she might...

I did specifically take Safehouse knowledge. I'm not gonna roll it until that becomes a suggested thing, though.
