Personally I don't see why he wouldn't just bugger off and get his own cram since he obviously doesn't like spending his time with us fine folks.
Maybe a negotiation roll would be better suited to the task at hand, I think I'll just post my IC response and Poindexter makes a call about whether it is more suited as a negotiation or an intimidation. Worst case scenario is that we accept the job and the guy rabbits immediately.

Did we get a description of the house? Are we assuming the same house as in the google map, so timber and nicely flammable? Could we even get demo charges to level the house if we wanted with this short of a notice?

If it is the house from the pic and is a drug factory there are almost certainly some nice chemicals there that react merrily when exposed to fire. Sufficiently ruining the house I think will not be our biggest problem. Unless I misunderstood we don't need the house absolutely leveled before 5 am, as long as it is a raging inferno by that time we should be good.

A spirit wouldn't be able to do any damage from the astral, it'd have to materialize first. But yes, I assume we're in the planning stage now.

So you're basically saying you're going to astrally project to the house, summon a Fire spirit, and then tell it to Materialize and burn the house down? I doubt it'll be that easy. If it is, you could finish the run by yourself in a single IC post and everybody else just goes out for pancakes.

Of course it won't be THAT easy. And I doubt Baba would let me go in without backup from you guys. Plus we would need to get the people out. There are tons that could go wrong including a mage or an adept on site. Even the best laid plans only last the first engagement. I could scout it Astrally when we get there to get a better understanding. I am better equipped to handle myself Astrally than physically though.

You're our only magic support, so if there's anything like an adept or mage on site that can stop you if you're by yourself, they'll still stop you just as effectively with the whole team there. So we're gonna need some back-up options for how to burn this place down.

Maybe stop by a liquor store and pick up the highest proof alcohol we can get, and make ourselves some molotovs. Pretty sure that'd be armorer, so I can handle that, and then you've got Fling and I've got Throwing Weapons, so we can pelt the building repeatedly.
