Looks like a fun concept. My concern would be twofold. First, many of us (myself included) who call themselves gamers are not svelte, athletic types. That's changing, and this is probably a step in the right direction there. But I know my fat ass ain't getting off the bench when my phone says there are enemies nearby. I'd be far more likely to camp.

Second, there have to be enough players in your area to make an ad hoc game. I predict we'll more likely see people scheduling matches in advance, with pre-determined "arenas." Still, this is the future of laser tag, so I'm cool with watching it. It's certainly more entertaining to watch than League of Legends on the MLG Twitch channel.
