What's the most recent scoop on the AAA Mega Corps in 2072?
Got the basics from SR5 source book, is there a good source book to supplement this?

Have an idea for a story where Renraku tries to oust Knight Errant in Seattle with their own elite force. Looking for any core material or personal perspectives on this story line. Cheers omae.
Brad: We're gonna be bodyguards for teen rock-stars.
Schlock: Wouldn't the cause of freedom be better served if we killed them instead?

Knight Errant is doing rather fine in Seattle given the Ork Underground storyline, so I'm not sure if Renraku is dumb enough to mess with that. They are surprisingly popular and are making friends even in the OU, where they now work together with the Skraacha and don't care about arressing SINless for being SINless.

Storm Front probably has more intel on different corps, but I haven't read it in a while so can't really recall.

My suggestion: read Storm Front and Stolen Souls.  That will give you a good handle on several storylines that are in various stages of completion.  There was actually a really REALLY well-written set of Missions that dealt with the transition of power from Lone Star to Knight Errant, the rise of the Ork Underground to become it's own district, and all the sub-plots that happened in between, including more than a couple of plots to discredit Knight Errant to get the power away from them.

So the list of missions that I would point you to, along with links to where you can get them are:
And the two source books that I mentioned are in this list:

Cheers Namikaze. Really appreciate the links.

Big corps will mess with each other, if only to squeak a few percentage points ahead of another. Was imaging what a Red Samurai version of police would look like, especially if competing for contracts against Knight Errant.

EDIT: Oh, right. For 2072.

Corporations in general: Corporate Guide

Seattle policing and KE and such: Seattle 2072

There are newer plot books, but both of these books are actually set in 2072.

Since you're going for 2072, Corporate Guide.  And keep the war to a dull roar, please - remember the plebes are watching.

You know, I hadn't caught the 2072 piece.  In that case, Ravensong, you should leave out Splintered State from the list of missions.  The rest take place in or near 2072.  Also, Storm Front is really a primer on the story lines between 2072 and 2075, telling the players and GM what happened, what got resolved, what got started, etc.  It won't be too helpful to a campaign in 2072.

The original Ashes (not the modified one in Sprawl Wilds), and Copycat Killer which is/was available as freebie with Silver Platter, are also 2072 and they are nice prequels to the 2074 campaign of the Ork Underground.

In 2072 KE still gets the benefit of the doubt, by the way, since Lone Star really messed up the Tempo Wars. So they come in fresh and do everything they can to show they're better than Lone Star. They caught the Mayan Cutter in less than a month.

Canon is great and all, but at some point most GMs start tailoring their games to make the world to suit their needs. OR, Player actions make it impossible to contain a game to Canon. (the "Coffee War" of a buddies game comes to mind.. Fun times!) And this is totally ok. In fact, its great when it happens as shows that both you and your players are greatly enjoying the game!

As a GM, the trick is find ways to pay h'ommage to your players actions, yet keep Canon as on track as you can. (that is, if you even care.) It can be done, but it takes work.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

My Theroy is the Canon is always going to be stretched in a regular group. Players get ideas, experience that logically lead here and there over time.......

There is a suggested boundry line in this game rules by time. A certain span events should occur. At present the  the popular narratives occur between 2072 and 2075+.
I say play to your potential.
There is no crime in adjusting the groups narrative after the official event calender is superimposed. It's just a guideline and going by it strict-by-the-book would soon leave most of us with no more game until the next edition comes 'round. 48 months is not a long time.......

If you weren't responding to my post, I was responding to yours. =)

Merry Christmas
