I am in the process of resuming a Shadowrun pencil and paper game, using the SR 4th 20A edition rules.  I am very interested in running a campaign set in 2050 and plan to potentially use the Shadowrun 2050 supplement.

This is a very general question, but for those who have run a 2050 game using SR 4th edition rules, how did it go?  I would be interested in hearing how the game went, mechanics, whether the 4th edition carried over to the 2050 setting, and did the players have fun?

I'm running a campaign in this vein and things are going fine.  We are romping through the printed modules, I've mostly ignored the conversion processes.

Since it was never released in German during SR4, the German publisher Pegasus now released the 2050 supplement for SR5. I might incorporate some of the rules into our SR5 game. We started in 2060 however and used the SR3 rules until spring. So, I cannot give insight into the SR4 mechanics.
