O.K. so I guess here is what I am going to do. I will perform a run and jump to try and get to the grenade and then hopefully kick it far enough away to save woofer and not hurt myself (Again I hope this isn't too bad of an idea  :-\)

8d6.hits(5) → [1,1,3,5,4,2,1,6] = (2)
BBCode
    8d6.hits(5)=2

So I get there now for the kick.

4d6.hits(5) → [4,5,3,5] = (2)
BBCode
    4d6.hits(5)=2

So She who walks through walls runs from cover. Her chameleon suit fighting to keep up with the changing background as she runs and then jumps to a tumble and gets to the grenade. With a kick she sends the grenade skittering down the pavement towards the mage and retreating guard. (OOC I hope. Now do I have any actions left at this point? I am lost in what I had to use and what I had left. I think I'm done. Hopefully I made things better and not worse.  ;D)

[OOC: So Cynthia kicked it 4 meters away from you and Woofer, so unless it's position changes, Guard1, Cynthia and Woofer must damage resist 2 DV of the blast with impact armor at an AP of -2 when the blast goes off.  Now Cynthia is out of actions.  So Guard2 is up against the north front door of the car.  Shaman 16 meters from car heading west and Guard1 is 8 meters from car heading west.]

Initiative Score update: CT 2, IP 1: Guard1-14, B.B.-10, Cynthia-10, Mercedes-10, Guard2-5, Shaman-2, Woofer-unc.
Wounds: Guard2{6S(-2/4CT)}, Shaman{5S(-2/4CT), 5P(-1 BA), 3P}, Woofer{10S(unc.)}
Delayed Actions: B.B.(all)

Still waiting for Mercedes to to her creepy voice thing.
[OOC: You're going to love this then...]

Mercedes runs behind Cynthia, and sees her kick the grenade away. She realizes she can't drag Woofer to safety, so she does the only think she can think of.

[OOC Let me know if the first part of this doesn't work, the book doesn't say if Voice Control requires a specific action or not to use it. If you judge that mimicking the shaman's voice would require a specific action on top of the Command complex action, then just drop the mimic. If the mimic does work, I'm hoping for a bonus to offset the running penalty (so I'm rolling the full dice, if mimic doesn't help, take off the last two results).]

She uses her innate abilities to yell at the guard at the front of the car, making her voice not only sound like the shaman's voice, but coming from where the shaman is running from [Voice Control - Mimic Shaman, "throw" voice ten meters towards Shaman. (-2 Running penalty) (14d6.hits(5)=6)], "Damn fool! Get that grenade away from the car!" [Commanding Voice - Targeting only Guard2 (15d6.hits(5)=5)]

[OOC: Here's an updated position map, I figured out how to draw!!  You can keep updating this in order to show your moves.  It's not to scale and it's a little abstract.  The distances listed are the actual distances to the target....i.e. don't take into account the little pieces of the drawing which don't seem to be included in the distance.  When there is no distance between characters written it's assumed to be melee distance.  So for example: G2,Cynth,Merc, and Woof are all 8 m from Guard1 for combat purposes.  Oh and I also forgot to erase the "walks and mercedes" phrase near the walls entrance.]

@Mercedes
[OOC: You can do the mimic as part of the command option and make it come from the direction of the shaman.  The only thing is that it says that to use commanding voice it's at a -2 each time you use it on the same person within a 24 hour period so I'll subtract -2 from your roll which leaves you with 3 hits.  The G2 resists with Will 3 3d6.hits(5)=2.  His perception to see Cynthia is Int 4 + Perc 3 + Distracted -2 + Wound -4 + Chameleon -4=0.

Guard2's Action Phase: Simple Action: Pick-up grenade Simple Action: Throw grenade as far as he can.  We'll just say the grenade is out of range from damaging anybody now.  It'll still make a big BOOM though.  Free Action: Intercept Mercedes and do a melee attack with the butt of his rifle.  Clubs 3 + Agil. 6 + Wound -4 = 5 Rifle Butt (5d6.hits(5)=2).  He's going to use a point of group edge to re-roll misses:  url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2783647/]edge reroll (3d6.hits(5)=0)[/url].  So that's 2 hits on attack roll, the base damage is (str/2+1)P = 5P.  Roll defense and/or damage resist.

Mercedes ducks, trying to dodge the rifle butt [Dodging melee attack (5d6.hits(5)=1)], but the guard clips her across the jaw, snapping her head back [6P total, Damage Resistance (2 Body + 2 Impact) (4d6.hits(5)=0)].

[OOC -2 wound modifier, 3 boxes left on Physical. She's standing, but just barely...]

@Mercedes
You see stars as the impact knocks you to the ground.

[OOC: You're knocked prone because the damage you took is bigger than your body.  You need to make a Bod+Will (2) test with wound modifiers to stand up.]

@Everyone
[OOC: Shaman's Action Phase:]

The Shaman just keeps on stumbling away.  He's now 24m from car.  He attempts to call in for help but his contact list is gone thanks to B.B.'s little corrupt program.

2nd IP for those who can act.

[OOC: Guard1 is running and he's now 16 m from car.]

All of a sudden a loud explosion to the north rips through the night and you hear some yells coming from inside and around the buildings.

[OOC: Delayed action first -  Simple, access the trunk. Non-action, move into trunk.  Free action, drop ceska. Simple, Ready P93.]

With everybody running around, Brian figured that things were smoothing out enough for him to kit up properly.  He pulled open the trunk access and slipped through into the open trunk.  Pulling the P93 out of his bag, he brought the weapon up to a ready position.  Preparing to shout out a warning over the guards own comm channel, his thoughts of patience were almost immediately drowned out by cry of pain from Mercedes and the mid air explosion of the HE grenade.

[OOC: 2nd IP - Free action shout at guards over comms.  Simple action to fire a wide long burst at G1.  Simple action to fire a narrow short burst at Shaman.  Improved range finder should negate any distance penalty to 40m.  7pts of Recoil compensation.

Roll 1:  6+2+2=10d6.hits(5) → [6,2,3,2,3,3,5,4,1,6] = (3)
DV = 5P +1 ex=ammo + net   -5 to dodge from autofire.
Roll 2:  6+2+2-2= 8d6.hits(5) → [6,3,4,4,1,2,4,1] = (1)  hurr, forgot -1 recoil penalty, so scratch that last die.
DV = 5P +1 ex-ammo + net +2 from autofire]

"I'll shoot until you lay down!"  B.B. screamed over their comms as he hosed down the retreating guards, the Praetor purring like a small motor.

[OOC addendum:  The Intercept action could only be use on Mercedes if she tried to leave an active melee or move past the guard without engaging him, IIRC.  If they're still in mutual melee range, he'd have to attack her with a normal complex action.  Since the guard had to go scrambling after a grenade that had been kicked 4 meters down the street, I'm puzzled as to how that would happen... or why Mercedes and Walks both used their turns to take care of the same situation..  Anyway, moving on, are dudes going full defense or dropping prone?]

@B.B.:
[OOC: It was already the 2nd IP when you used your delayed actions so that would mean you lose your action phase for the 2nd IP, since no one else has any actions and Shaman is running, your second set of actions would be on the 3rd IP.

G1 goes full D.
G1's defense roll: Reaction 4 + Dodge 3 + running 2 + Wide LB -5=4 4d6.hits(5)=1.  Incoming base damage is 8P which means damage is S.  He resists 8S: Body 7 + BA 8 = 15 url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2785310/]15d6.hits(5)=3[/url].  He takes 5S.

Shaman's defense roll: Reaction 4 + running 2 +  Wound -4 + Shock -2 = 0.  Damage resist: Body 6 + BA 7 = 13 13d6.hits(5)=2.  He had 7P base damage which means damage is S.  Total damage coming in is 9P which becomes 7S.  He's out cold.  ]

You lean out of the trunk and open fire with your P93 SMG at the fleeing Crushers.  Several rounds tear up the backs of the Shaman and the first Guard and the Shaman falls to the ground motionless, bleeding profusely from the orfices in his face and the bullet holes in his back.  The first Guard staggers and drops his AK throwing himself prone and putting his hands over his head.

"DON'T SHOOT!! I give up!"

The 2nd Guard who is near the car also drops his weapon and goes to his knees, his hands behind his head.

@Everyone:

You still here commotion to the north where the grenade went off and people seem to be going outside to see what all the ruckus from the fire fight has been about.
[OOC: They surrender so combat is over and you can act out of turn.]

"Walks, cover #2, I've got to go patch that Shaman up!  I am not going to kill a Crusher tonight!  Fuck!"

Wasting no time, Brian grabbed the medkit out of Cynth's bag and sprinted over to the prone and bleeding Shaman.

"Ghost, this is such a fuck-up."
"I'm coming over to patch up your boy.  Don't! ..try to blow me up!"

Mercedes makes sure the rest of the team is watching the guards, then kneels down next to Woofer, checking him out to make sure he's still breathing. Seeing that she's still alive, she begins to smile, then winces as the bruise to her jaw REALLY starts to hurt. Leaning against the back of the car, she looks around, beginning to take stock of the despelote situation around her. She playfully slaps Woofer's chest, "Nothing's ever easy, is it Marcus..."

@B.B.:

You notice an incoming call on the Shaman's comm from a number which comes up as "Sheldon" on the contact list.  Because you have control of their PANS they can't answer the call without your permission.

[OOC:  Trying a first aid.  Kit 6 (substituted for skill) +7 logic +3 nanites +1 PuSHeD -2 poor cdtn -2 awakened = 13d6.hits(5) → [3,5,5,6,3,6,5,5,3,1,2,5,1] = (7)  5 hits past threshold.  Should heal 5P and take a Complex action (healings is magic) so I should have him patched up in a second.  Does this critical success refresh a point of edge? :)]

"Alright, good news, cuz.  Nothing serious.  He's just winded.  I took care of what damage the bullets did, sorry about that by the way.  Was just trying to tag his armor, knock the wind out of him before he could call up a spirit, and, well sorry... I ain't trying to kill you guys.  Not trying to war with Crushers..  I'm a Nor-cal veteran.  If I came here to fuck with you or your business... Lets just say I wouldn't be coming in at a checkpoint, you understand?  But, the way you unloaded into my man's chest..  He's my fucking ride home!  And then you try to blow me up..  fuck, cousin.  That was like begging to-  Oh!  Shit!  Your boss is calling.  You mind if I talk to him?  I'll put in a good word, don't worry."

Satisfied that the medkit had done its best, and that the Shaman was in reasonable health, Brian grabbed the Shamans piece from where the radar had said it was hidden in his coat, stood up and began backing up to where Woofer lay.

"Grab their guns for them if you would Merc.  Then let's move the guy by the car over near the other two.  But we do need to decide how we're going to handle this very quickly.  As always, I'm ready to tell the truth.  If you want to try bullshitting your way through it, well, just look at this fine mess."

Mercedes gets up, gathering the rifles from the other two guards, and nudging the first guard to get with his friend by the shaman. "Can you get Woofer into the car? I don't think anything is going to salvage this and it might be time to pull back and assess our options. Unless anyone thinks we can fight our way in?"
