"Well, since you asked nicely.." B.B. said, shutting off his AR.  "'Sides, we're coming up on Renton.  Maybe we should think about some disguises, neh?  Or were you two planning on pretending you got lost on the way to the Cougar Mountain resort?  It's time we discussed our approach."

<<B.B.@Cynthia: D'you know if Hannibal's there?  He's the guy we need.  Maybe Lana knows something, if she's not too strung out to know head from ass, but Hannibal is the guy who operates that spot.  Without him, I don't know what we've got.>>

"There is a troll, three Orks and a female who I assume is Lana. I don't think Hannibal is here since when she spoke to the Orks earlier the female said he wasn't, but send me a picture and we can be sure."

Walks Through Walls will look around to see if there is a window in the hallway that will afford me access to the correct side of the building to go in one of the apartment bedroom windows, and if so if it has any type of alarm trigger if it is opened.

"Mercedes the five of them seem to be kind of out of it and I think I can gain access to the apartment without them knowing do you want me to go ahead or wait until you get here? I was thinking if I'm already inside when we take them down it could be of great tactical advantage. Also even if Hannibal isn't here he'll be back, and if need be we could always coax him into showing up. In some ways it could be easier if he isn't there if he is the one in charge."

@Cynthia:
When B.B. told you the names, the name Sam Merkowski sets off the a photographic memory image in your eidetic mind of the apt. 7 mailbox with the name S. Merkowski written under it.  According to the info B.B. gave you it seems Hannibal works for him and from the looks of the picture he sent you the troll sitting at the table is the same guy.  You don't see any human's in the efficiency so Hannibal probably isn't one of the guys inside.  You can only speculate that the girl is Lana since B.B. couldn't find any info on her.

The only windows in the hallway are the windows on either extreme which point out the sides of the building into the side alleys.  The only windows in the apartment that you saw with your watcher are the two windows on either side of the trid screen which look out onto the service alley that runs behind bulding 1324.  Apt. 7 is really more of an efficiency and the bedroom doesn't have any windows so it seems that the "bedroom" is more of a large walk-in closet which they threw a bed into.  The bathroom which is on the opposite side of the entrance to the "bedroom" doesn't have any windows either.  You go check the windows on either side of the hallway and neither of them have any alarm systems on them....you'd be very surprised if anything in this building had alarm systems on it.

@Woofer:
[OOC: browse agent datasearch:  Pilot 3 + Browse 3 + Obscure -2 (24, 1 min) .... even if your agent scored all hits, he wouldn't make it i.e. 4+3+2+1=10..]

After 4 minutes your browsing agent shoots you a message: <<Search Results: no hits>>

Woofer: "No, it doesn't, they're dealers.  I know what I'd normally do, but not now, if their at the address, well...let's get in and ask them some questions about our missing teens."

"Woofer, the info says that Hannibal works for Sam who is the troll in the room. So I think the leader of our little group is here. It might be that the Orks normally deal with Hannibal or know him from somewhere else."

"It could also be that Hannibal is the designated 'bag man' who holds the chips so if he isn't there then there isn't any stuff to be had."

"Well, Mr. S. Markowski is Hannibal's boss and his contact to the Mafia, but from the recordings I found on the link, it seems like Hannibal runs the street side of things.  Sam is just the weight behind Hannibal's dealings, not unlike a pimp.  He wouldn't know our lad like Hannibal would.  So, if we're going to grease palms, it should be to find Hannibal.  If, on the other hand, we try an old-fashioned kick-in... shit, I love a piece of action as much as the next guy, but I think it's a risk.  We can't afford to scare off our best lead, right?  Naturally, I'll follow you on whatever you choose, but, what exactly are we doing?  Kick in, zap Sam, blind the orcs and start putting people in cuffs?"

I have a spell that can make someone look like someone else we could disguise someone to look like Hannibal and see if we can get info from Sam, or kick in the door zap em and pump Sam for info then use their link while looking like Sam to try and lure Hannibal into the crosshairs.

Part of the thing is it depends on what happened to the kid. If he split to join the Maifa then Sam will know more. If he is dealing on a street then Hannibal will know more. If he is in debt it will depend on which one of them has the marker on the kid. We kind of are too much in the dark right now

@Cynthia: You hear a buzz from inside the apartment and then after 3 seconds you hear the downstairs door buzz and someone opens it and comes in.  You hear the sound of steps coming up the staircase.

I'll move back down the hallway a few feet away from apartment 7. I want to be far enough away that if he somehow sees me I'm not hovering right at the door, but I want to be close enough that if they leave to door open I might be able to infiltrate my way into the apartment.

@group "Guys they just buzzed someone else in. If the door stays open long enough I might try and get into the apartment. I'll let you know"

@Cynthia:
You see a smaller statured figure round the corner from the stairwell and you realize that it's the dwarf that was hanging with the orks with his hood pulled up.
[OOC: Dwarf's perception test:  Intuition 3 + Defaulting -1 + Chameleon suit -4 + You stand out 2=0....he doesn't see you]

He walks over to the door of apt. 7 and just as soon as he knocks, the door opens and you see one of the orks open it ajar a little and poke his head out and in a hushed voice says:

Ork: "Yo Chaz, Hannibal ain't here man, we're just waiting for him to bring the stuff so we can score and then peace-out."
Chaz: "What the fuck man, i've been outside like 20 min standing in the fucking rain!  You at least gonna let me in?"

From inside you hear the troll's voice.
Sam: "Is it that fucking dwarf you kids been hanging out with?.....Alright, everybody get the fuck out...I thought I told you I didn't want that annoying piece of shit up in my place....!!"

You hear shuffling and complaining inside and then you see the three orks quickly shuffle out of the apartment, one of them barely holding his pants up.  Once they're all in the hallway you finally get a good look at the troll as he comes to the door.

Sam: "I tell myself hey, why not help out some young brothers?....I let you smoke my herb, drink my synth-wine, and slot my chips, even fuck my ho's...and you can't even get your act together enough to stop hanging with pieces of shit like this one over here.."  Pointing at the dwarf.

Ork: "hey man we're sorry, we told him to stay outside!!! "

[OOC:  Perception test of Troll with the 3 orks helping out:  Intuition 4 + Perception 3 + Teamwork 3 +Chameleon Suit -4 + You stand out (you're in the middle of a hallway in the middle of the day) 2 + Perceiver is distracted -2 =6 6d6.hits(5)=2.  Your infiltration roll: Agility 6 + Infiltration(urban) 4=10 10d6.hits(5)=4 .....none of them notice you]

Sam is still in the doorway of the apt. his head ducked down to be able to fit through....and he stands there cussing them out as they slowly leave..

Sam: "Oh....and one more thing....Hannibal don't do business with any of you anymore.  Go get your kicks on some other turf."

Ork: "FUCK!!  You're gonna get it Chaz...!"  As he punches the door downstairs as hard as he can.  You then here the 4 of them exit the building.

Is the troll still in the doorway? I watch him go inside if I think I can slip in behind him before the door closes I am going to go for it.

On my subvocal mike "Guys, the Orks just got kicked out. It's only the troll and the female. I think I can get inside. I'm going to give it a try."

If there isn't a fair amount of room to slip through I'm not going to try and push the issue. I'm also going to think back. When the troll was leaning out of the door was there space to go between his legs in a tumbling type roll?

@Cynthia:
[OOC:  It's a regular sized doorway, 2 m high x 80 cm wide, and the troll is about 2.8 m tall so he has to duck under the doorway and squat a little.  The door swings into the apt. but on either side of the doorway inside is a small corridor so you wouldn't be able to slip in sideways.  The only option would be to go between his legs which is about a 0.5m wide x 1m high aperture.  Since you left it up to me, i'll say you feel confident enough in your abilities to go for it!]

While he's squatting under the doorway watching the orks leave on the other end of the hallway from you, you see a chance to get into the apartment under his legs while he's turned away from you....it looks crazy, but you've slipped through even crazier experiences unnoticed before.  You dart towards apt. 7......

[OOC: infiltration to see if he hears you: Infil(urban) 4 + Agility 6 = 10 10d6.hits(5)=5.  Sam's perception roll: Intuition 4 + Perception 3 + Distracted -2 + Traceless Walk -4=1 1d6.hits(5)=0.....so it's a critical success!  I'll give you 1 free point of edge to roll on the gymnasitics test to get between his legs without bumping him.]

Once you're in front of the door and you realize he hasn't seen you, you think to yourself "what the hell, let's do this!" and you dive straight between his legs!

[OOC: Roll to not bump him: Gymnastics 2 + Agility 6 = 8 (threshold 3) 8d6.hits(5)=2.....now using your 1 point of free edge to reroll misses=6 6d6.hits(5)=3.....for a total of 5 hits.]

You hold your breath as your dive propels you aerodynamically through the air and you don't even feel a single brush against the inside of his calcified legs or the hang of his boxers, like a 3-point shot that's nothing but net!  You land on your hands and smoothly bring your legs over your body and elegantly roll your way toward a squatting position....

[OOC: Now rolling a perception test for Sam to see if he hears your landing when you tumble behind him: Perception 3 + Intuition 4 + Distracted -2 + Sound stands out (it comes from right under his butt as opposed to hallway where background noise is typical) 2 + Traceless Walk (it says it applies to any contact with floor) -4 = 3 (threshold 2) 3d6.hits(5)=2 ....oh shit...]

.....as you roll up into a squat about 0.5 m behind his feet and you start to put your full weight onto your legs, you almost feel it happen in slow motion.  The floor board you rolled over starts to bend slightly under the weight and your heart skips a beat because you know you can't stop your momentum now.  As soon as the floor board let's out a full painful creak...you whip around still in a squatting position and see Sam take his hands from the door frame to his knees and bend over and look upside down between his legs straight at you, quickly cursing.....
"fucking D rats!!"

[OOC: Roll to see if he can see your Predator-like outline: Intuition 4 + Perception 3 + Chameleon Suit -4 + Actively looking for 3 = 6 (threshold 2) 6d6.hits(5)=2]

You both freeze in place for fractions of a second which seem like an eternity.  His face, which was originally contorted into a pissed-off snarl due to a potential rodent problem, quickly turns to a blank, bewildered look as he studies your glassy form....and just as quickly lights up with a panicked realization of impending danger.  You think to yourself: "Well Walks, this is a slightly unforeseen turn of events, so lets just flow with it.....look at the bright side, at least i'm now between him and the SMG I remember still seeing on the table as I rolled in.....he's awfully big though.....fuck."

[OOC: Ok i'll give you some of his stats which you might need for rolling his defenses:
SAM: Body:8 Agil:2 Reac:3 Str:7 Cha:2 Int:4 Log:1 Will:3 Edge:2 Init:7 IP:1
Skills: Close Combat Group 3

INITIATIVE ROLL:
Cynthia (Init: 7, IP: 1) -- 7d6.hits(5)=2 -- Init. Score=9
Sam (Init:7, IP:1) -- 7d6.hits(5)=5 -- Init. Score=12
....If you're using edge to go first then say-so now and act (please roll his defense rolls as well)....or else tell me to keep going]
