Noticing the slight commotion between Arc and the large Howler out of the corner of his eye and putting two and two together, Duck composes a mental message and sends it before things can get any further.

<<@Deen [Duckdown] I might have to pretend to be some lil breeder chicks vruk' to get her outta some Howler drek. Don't get it twisted if ya hear it in the streets. YOU my girl, wiz?>>

Duckdown. Expect me. It had been a simple message. He didn't really have any other idea what to tell his closest friend for what had happened. There was little explanation he could really give about what he'd felt that night, but somehow he knew the Orc would realise past his initial frustration that he wasn't running. He was regrouping and preparing for the coming storm. It had been a long ride back from that hillside monastery. There, he learned some idea of exactly what they were facing. Some idea of how to fight it. Some idea of how to kill it. A plan, maybe two. But, most of all, the few measly hours he had spent there were enough to guide his thoughts. He wasn't scared of this thing anymore. He'd deal with it.

And then he'd stick his blade through it's neck.

He stepped off his bike in front of the bar his team was in, the group of old. And where Duckdown awaited. He had one last thing he could do to appease his Ork friend, his ally and closest buddy. Walked slowly towards the door, and prepared for something he would never, ever do again. He slammed open the door inwards, producing an echoing crash as he walked in with long, powerful strides, not even slowed by the door itself so rudely shoved aside. He worked that presense. The combat blacks he wore, the little strips of fabric bristling and swaying in the wind behind him, at long range they would disrupt his outline. The black thick combat vest over the top of the camouflaged fabric. Two longswords on either sides of his hips. A submachine gun, Model 100 attached backwards to his left thigh, rattling metallically as he stepped, suppressor screwed to the end of it, a folded foregrip under the main barrel. Taser above it, holstered as well. His standard sidearm, also at the ready. The mage strode forth, caring not for gangers he had to shove or butt past to get to where he was going.

Duckdown.

Eventually, his pacing strides brought him right up to the Orc. His eyes burning with a sort of intensity, hoping the man would understand. he showed no fear. Only preparation, and readiness. And a hope the Orc would understand everything he'd done. And the finality to his entrance.

"Ready. To kill that thing."

Masqurade had been following with the group, shifting into this form and the next, once she was out of site depending on the situation. Beyond maintain her disguises, she wasn't paying anyone one else any mind. Too focused on trying to decipher the language of the little girl.

<<Who is Chipmunk?>> Was the simple com message back. <<I have to find her. >>

@ Feathers  Lupo looks at you and then at the M&M's, "Yeah, 6am be fine." then he roars."ARC, BONE"

@ Arc  When you get to Lupo, Bonehead beside you with his arm heavily around your shoulders and a smirk on his face, Bone answers first, "Me an my girl be makin' plans together wiz." Lupo looks at you both, "You 'kin keep makin' plans. This breeder be wantin' a few spies in a few places. Arc, you rig 'im summat. Bone, you get her what she needs, parts 'en drek like that. I want it done tonight. He'll tell you what he be needin'." nodding at Feathers.

@ Arachnid  The sound of the door slammed open can't hold a candle to the noise inside the bar. But, that much weaponry out in the open does get a bit of notice, as well as your beeline straight for the boss. Before you're a dozen steps away from Lupo's table there's a wall of orc's and trolls facing you and the biggest hulking razor'd troll you've ever seen very calmly looks at you and says,"I'm sorry but Mr. Dilligaf's appointment book is full for today. So if you'd care to go fuck yourself in another city you might still be alive a minute from now." he calmly sips from the almost clear mug he's holding. But the shotgun pressing into your back is definitely not the most dangerous weapon being pointed in your direction.

@ Masquerade  >>Chipmunk be hopscotch champ brdgurl. Maybe be practicing, maybe be with gf, maybe be poppin'. You want I find?<<

I want it done tonight. He'll tell you what he be needin'." nodding at Feathers.

Arc gives a grimace and shoves Bonehead's arm off her shoulder, crossing her arms and giving a pout.  She was trying to look menacing, bless her heart she was trying, but merely on the fact that most of the trogs in the room made her look so tiny was working against that goal.  Ignoring the suggestive jibe by the fat ork next to her, she gave a nod and a wink to Duck, putting a show of it before turning to Feathers and Lupo, huffing lightly.  "Let's get something straight here, Lupo.  I'm doing this for the breeder, I'm doin this for tha 'hood.  What I ain't doin is helping this breeder out cause you say so, we got it?

Now, Mr. Mojo, you say you needs some spies and surveillance and drek?  I think I can whip somethin' together, let's see..."
She put her hands on the table, frowning as her eyes flicked back and forth in front of her, the purple irises glinting as she mentally scanned over notepads that she drew up and quickly discarded.  "No...no...maybe...no...perhaps..Bonehead, write this drek down, I'm only gonna be asking once.  Depending how many our boy wants, for each spot, I'm gonna be needing a microcamera, microtransceiver, some wiring, a small metal box, a rubber band, and a paper clip.  Oh, and a cola and a Long Haul from the Stuffer Shack while you're at it..I'm gonna need it."

The human's grin was starting to return as she scratched her cheek, flicking up an ARO window to draw up her plan, all the while brainstorming how to build countermeasures on a budget.  "So's that all we be needin', just surveillance?  We ain't got no defenses to touch this beasty other than just you mojo types what be wiggling your fingers and all that?  Drek, there's gotta be somethin'.."  Her ears picked up a commotion of movement behind her, but she was focused, in the ZONE on the problem solving business.

Duck stays quiet, pretending not to notice the commotion at the door. Let 'Rack prove sum if he wants up in here. See how he does. He listens to the back and forth between Lupo, Arc, the giant slob who wants to slot her, and the human called Feathers. Feathers didn't fuck around and try to imitate the way people in the hood talked. He just does his thing and lets shit fall where it may. Duck respects that about him. Enough to keep his mouth shut until Arc says the words;

"Oh, and a cola and a Long Haul from the Stuffer Shack while you're at it..I'm gonna need it."

"Two hauls." he adds with a single nod of his head.

@ Arc  The smirk on Bonehead's face disappears when he has to take instructions from you. And when he hears "Cola & a Long Haul."and then "Two Hauls." from Duck. He gets even uglier. "You be smokin' oil girl." He's interrupted by Lupo. "Get it. She a breeder."[/color] and he spits on the table in front of you."No stamina."

@ Duck  Lupo's eye's turn to spear you. The look is clear. "Don't push it."

He doesn't even bother looking towards the wall of ork's & trolls, he just signals for another drink and pulls out a spliff.

Arc's grin turned wider as she kept working and sketching out her ideas, not even giving Bonehead the courtesy of looking at him as she spoke.  "Hoi, the only oil in my head be the stuff that you drekeads shoved in their seven years ago.  Good fraggin' job, by the way.  You gots your orders, Bonehead, and I need the goods, so I recommend you get barkin'~"

With a sigh, she tossed out another sketch as she realized that particular design would short the circuits and likely just cause enough noise to attract some unwanted KE attention.  Had to find a way to compensate for the power capacity.  Hmmm....if I could link that there, affix this here....no, wait, here...hahahaha, what now, slitches?!  Clapping her hands, she barely noted the tension going on between the two Howlers and the Ork, a brow raised as she worked.  "This trog's with me, hoops.  No arguments, I could do with his help."

Ok, lets meet here for 6am then. As for the kit, we'll need eyes and ears. How about some sensor RFIDs? microphone and camera as minimum spec? They'd stick to the underside of the grate or somewhere concealed at the entrances. It might give us a few false positives with devil rats and whatever the fuck else lives down there but its better to be on guard that sliced up by that evil fucker. If we can get most of the entrances covered, those feeds can be monitored remotely 24/7. I dare say, someone with the right skills could probably program up something to alert the observer to motion or changes in ambient sound levels, but that's way beyond my experience.

"This trog's with me, hoops.  No arguments, I could do with his help."

With a grin on his face and without breaking eye contact with Lupo or blinking, Duck answers her. "No drama here, girl." Then to Lupo, "Stamina, huh?" Duck files this away in the "interesting interactions to continue at a later date" file in his brain, but the fact that his stamina has been questioned sticks in his craw. That challenge gonna have to be answered sooner or later.

<< Just find the Dau.>> She replies back, with a sigh, looking at the starting commotion. Sorry boys, but you'll have to play on your own here. Masquerade moves towards the door to take off into the night. The creature shouldn't be out hunting tonight.. even if it was, things would be too far back for the others to help her just yet. For now, she needed to find the girl.

@ Feathers  Lupo looks at you as he smokes his spliff and takes a long swig of his drink, smacking his lips loudly when he's done. "It be no problem ta do all dat omae. I get my people on dat  right 'cha way fer you. We be havin' de best programmers what come outta sewers." And he looks at you and spits to the side of you. And then an idea clearly crosses his brain and a grin splits his face. "Bone, hopscotch crew kin take it from one o' KE's satellite posts. Way I see it, dem fraggers are owed for the botch job they dun o' dis. Blood on dey hands much as on that spirits." Then he looks you up and down, not liking all the things you've been telling him to do. "Howler blood done being spilled 'fer dis hunt. You be owing no matter how dis go down afterwards. More Howler bodies, more we be owed. You best be right 'bout how ta fight 'dis or payment be coming outta you one drop at a time. So don't be gettin' lost on de way back. You say 6am, best not be 6:05."

@ Arc  The noise and smoke go almost un-noticed by Arc and certainly don't deter her. She grew up in Howler bars as much as she grew up on the streets. The broken lights, the weapons and a crowd about to start a fight over some drek or another is just the Howlers way 'o doin' biz.

@ Arachnid  The noise, stench and bodies looking for a fight aren't all that unfamiliar to 'Rack, he and Duck don't usually frequent bars this rough, but it's not unusual for it to turn that way. But, this is a bit different. Then, it's a fight because they're drunk and getting stupid. These guys are looking for something to beat into oblivion as part of their good time. And the lighting is bad, but not nearly bad enough to hide the dozen plus weapons aimed at him. The only reason he's still alive is because he came with his weapons out in the open and his hands not on them. What did Duck call it, "The white flag of serenity?"

@ Masquerade  I find secret place brdgurl. But Marea be craze. You be craze wantin."<<

I dare say, someone with the right skills could probably program up something to alert the observer to motion or changes in ambient sound levels, but that's way beyond my experience.

Arc paused a bit as additional info was given, hmming softly.   "...yeah, throw in a sensor tag for each and we in business.  I can try to throw together somethin' what be getting fed all this biz so we cans filter out and check on all the trips as they come.  Mm, that oughta work, if I throw that here....gonna need a small power source too...basic batteries oughta do the trick, yeah..."[/b  She hmmed, tapping her cheek a few times with closed eyes.  Her foot was tapping, a sign that her brain was engaged, a challenge that she could actually work with.

@ Feathers  Lupo looks at you as he smokes his spliff and takes a long swig of his drink, smacking his lips loudly when he's done. "It be no problem ta do all dat omae. Her brow twitched as she frowned, sighing and shaking her head a little bit.  Lupo can do whatever the frag Lupo wants, but I ain't going to jail associated for that.  I gon' deny any part of that!  Returning to her plan drawing, she bit her lip as she accidentally crossed a wire in the design.  "All this is dandy, but we don't do this, we all gon' be dead Lupo.  Get with the program, or I'll start thinkin' you been shoving oil in your brain.  Feathers...how many spots am I gonna be rigging up for, hm?"

She threw one last look at Duck, seeing him eye Lupo and Bonehead leerily.  She gave a smirk, shaking her head.  Haa....boys will be boys...

Feathers leaned into the table as Lupo made his threat.
Lupo, If I'm wrong about how to fight this fucker, then drawing the remaining blood out of my drained, dessicated corpse is going to be the last thing you'll need to worry about.
This thing affects all of us, including being pretty damn bad for whatever businesses you're involved in. Don't pretend like you're doing me a personal favour here, like this is to fund my jolly little holiday;
We've all got a stake in saving this neighbourhood.

He turned to Arc, I'm not sure to be honest, we'll need to scout it out or do some rough maths. I'd guess that 20-30 monitoring posts should give us a couple square miles to work with. though any more than that and I think it might get unwieldy to monitor..{he scratches his chin} but I'll have to defer to you and Lupo's techies on that one

Duck smiles. Not the shit eating "I know something you don't know" way he usually does, but in a more appreciative "You know your shit" kinda way. Dang, this squish is made of balls. I'm gonna like workin with him.
