@ Arc  >>Yo slitch, you in luck, just got ta' cred fo' my last haul and I'm busy spending it in all the wrong places. That'll prolly take me another few hours. Hit me up then girl an I'll see about what you need. An as fo' MY van. Onliest time you see me without a set a wheels it'll be 'cause they cheated me out 'o dem on my coffin.<<

Arc couldn't help but smile as her contact's reply popped into her AR window, easing back into her seat with a sigh.  "Null sweat, we got this down..." was the only cryptic thing she said, indicating she made contact.  Cracking her knuckles, she pulled up her blueprint as reference to send out the reply:

<<Wiz, I owe ya for this!  Okay, I'm gonna need a whole stack of sensor tags, a couple dozen if you can manage them.  Same amount for some cheap but good microcameras, and same deal for microtransceivers, with a smattering of wires and drek.  A set of matching small metal boxes would go a long way too.  I need these asafp, lives literally depend on it,
Skraa'cha, but I know you won't let me down.

@ Arc  >>Null sheen Cricket. Might even have a line on some used parts that'll save ya a bit on the cam's. I don't see a power supply in that design. If you're planning on hard wirin' it you'll need an adapter to attenuate the power more or you'll fry your parts. But, if you want to go  with an  independent power supply to increase placement options I can get you a button rig that'll give you a little over 2 weeks transmission time. You'll have to increase the size 'o your box a bit which means a slightly higher cost. But, you'd have to increase it potentially more for an adapter, or lose some waterproofing if you place the adapter outside of the unit and have to wire it in. Let me know what'cha want slitch and when I'm done playin' I'll hook you up.<<

Arc couldn't help but smile at the pet name, laughing a bit.  Her eyes narrowed as she less-than-subtly eyed the suggestions that the smuggler gave her before she visibly was squirming in her seat, doing a little dance of joy before hitting up a response.

<<I KNEW you were awesome for a reason!  Frag, hadn't considered that.  Yeah, gonna need some waterproofing, and no guarantee of a power hookup, and I know that drekking induction setup's gonna be too pricey.  The button rig will be perfect, since we only need it for a week tops anyhow.  Thank you for that, you're a fragging lifesaver, omae!  Pending cost, and things going right, I should have some jing for ya by tomorrow, but you know I'm good for it no matter when you get me that stuff, wiz?  Don't spend it all in one place~

She clapped her hands together, still swaying a bit in the table.  "Hoo yeah, that's how it's done.  Null sweat, Mr. Mojo, we'll get you set up fo'sho....eh wuzzat?"  She finally spotted a denser than usual gathering of Howlers towards the front, weapons out and shouting in confusion.  The human rolled her eyes, hand sidling over to the handle of her Ingram...just in case.

With a humorless smirk, Duck says, "That's just 'Rack, trying to make an entrance or some shit. He busted up in here bout a minute ago, trying to play all high post, like the hood just be sittin round terrified without him and his mighty master to guide us through the night. Them Howlers wan havin' it neither and now... I dunno, sum's goin on. I can't tell, but I aint heard no screamin or gunshots, so I expect he's aight." He shrugs his bare shoulders briefly before changing modes, back to business. "Now what kinda pricetag you get from your boy? I need to know numbers as soon as possible, wiz?"

@ Masquerade  Time after time you stop and listen. The noises around you familiar. Dealers and deals. Arguments and love. Dreams and fears. The pettiness & greatness of life in the sprawl. But it's not what you're looking for. Each time you move on to another intersection. ignoring those who would try to accost you. Or try to roll you for whatever you might have on you. You're used to avoiding it all when you're after something. You hear the scrambling on the rooftops, on a drain, hitting a fire escape, and a drain and you hear it break and, "Drek! hmmmph" and a thump of a body slamming into a building. "Chipmunk! Here!" you hear, "Ummph" the second voice says "Damn man that was close!"the first voice again, the voice of 'Chipmunk' "Yeah, rust. Held me last year. But I've grown near 2 stone. Belike I need ta stop. Weight's bad fer a hopscotch."

@ Arc, Feathers & Duckdown The wall of orcs & trolls moves out. "Motherfragger, teach 'im ta' come in here messin' wid us." "find 'im."
Sarge looks at the crowd and laughs, "Dude's made 'o balls 'o made 'o stupid. Ain't sure which yet." He moves off to the bar and signals the barkeep for his next drink and then turns around, leaning with his back against the bar, lookjng for all the world like a man set on enjoying the show.

Masquerade's eyes flash a little as she look up and around. "Chipmunk huh?" she murmers to herself, before turning to the latest person bugging her to buy some knickknack. "Attempting to sell that to me will get you no where. The heart murmer will kill you in a week or two." she replies coldly. His face wasn't his own, why should he care what they think of him? Not giving the knickknack seller time to react, she turns back down the alley and on her way. The hunt was on for the chipmunk.

Her AR displays flicker through her head, as she fires off messages to those she knew where hunting the beast. <<The trail is getting warmer. I've found a lead>>

Feather smiles at the offer of the beer, saying thanks, and tips his new pint to the team in honour of getting the kit in so rapidly.
It was a damn site easier than the thought it was going to be actually, he'd in a way underestimated their resourcefulness and was pleasantly surprised.
Aside from all the street talk and high-fucking-drama of the ego-maniacs, they weren't too bad a bunch to work with. so far that is, things might get a little more frayed once the shit hit the fan.
His primary concern was the bloodlust of the gangers. If they weren't careful on their patrols, they'd likely do more damage than good. That was out of his control for now though, the meet with Lupo had gone better than expected and he didn't want to push his luck.
Startled at the entrance of the muscle squad he raised an eyebrow quizzically, Shit, they look like they mean business..he gonna be able to handle that lot on his own?

@ Masquerade  The soft scrabble on the roofs tells you you're following someone up there. There, there's the sound of the second set of footfalls. This is probably still them. "You want the line?" you hear murmured. After a moment, "Yeah. I'm going to come back on it. I need ta practice dat."[/color] You hear running above you. And a small body leaps from one building, onto the roof of another, runs ten feet to leap onto another building, leaps towards a pole, and misses, wait, no, not misses, the slender line that was trailing behind catches the pole and swings the body around, you see a small foot reach out to kick the pole as it's swung around, and arms reach up to grab the line and swing in a full circle around it. In a moment  they've latched the line to itself and scswing up onto the line to try & run along it. But, it's not taut enough and in less than 5 feet they're falling. He catches the line and swings arm over arm like a monkey back to the first building and his friend who's giggling softly. "You need to drop more man so that line be tighter or you're never winning the challenge."

@ Feathers, Duck & Arc  The music changes as the band switches to something with a more aggressive beat. The band almost subconsciously reacting to the energy in the room.

Weren't too bad to work with from Feather's point of view, but Arachnid was already disliking them. His head smarted with painful throbs, and even hidden away in front of the door completely invisible, the threat felt now gone thanks to their general incomptence in searching the bar, he had half a mind to pull the sidearm and clean the gang up one by one. Decided against it. Arc had gone to these guys for a reason. Howlers were not to be trusted, a group of hardheaded trigger happy fools more interested in damage than in results and territory. They had plenty of bullets, certainly more than they had sense, he noted. He stepped back out of the bar door, all the while invisible. Flicking his wrist to gather the energy required in his hand, bundling the mana. He had it ready, just in case he needed it.

Too close to his allies for a fight. He didn't want them getting hurt, least of all Duck. Though he was beginning to wonder just how much the feeling was mutual... He crouched down low outside the bar, through the open doors, just to the left... Trying to gather his thoughts before continuing.

Masquerade has no idea whats going on with those down in the tavern. She's dedicated to her task, and its not keeping the others inline. After all, it was her life on the line, and it made little sense for her to stick around in a place where she could be some shining knight and sacrifice herself so they might live through the brawl in the tavern. She'll just have to find herself another giant.

Her magical powers were just starting to come to light, as she continues running after the two up there, The Chipmunk character. She wasn't extremely fit, she was a little above average at least but the things she was doing where only just a little above human, as she did what she needed to climb safely up to the roof tops.

He crouched low outside the bar. Breathing slow. Controlling it. Trying to, at any rate. How mad could Duck be? He liked flashy entrances, didn't he? Christ, everything was falling apart. Tensions were way too high. Should he break and regroup again? That'd gotten him in all this trouble the first time. He had the information and the thoughts to assist with this thing, but now he couldn't even get close enough Duck to apologise and explain properly. No. He'd stay here. He'd somehow manage to get to Duck, and make good. He hadn't been gone that long. He'd only been gone to more effectively help him get his revenge for his family. He'd be mad as hell now, he could see that. He hadn't expected it. He hadn't seen it coming. He put a hand to his forehead, gripping lightly, invisible in the wide open outdoors.

"How am I going to fix this..?"

At the bar you hear Sarge call out, "Rounds on me." The wall of gangers looking for 'Rack move to the bar grousing a bit. The rest just howl and continue doing what their doing. The band begins their next set. A popular one making the rounds of the trids. Their version adds some lightning and kettle drums. Hmmm, they needed to drop the bass a bit if they were going to do that.

@ Masquerade. You catch up to the two small bodies on the roofs. They look surprised for a moment.

Using the power of Voice control, she alters her voice to sound more.. heroic. Striking a pose before the children.

"Greetings Small Citizens of Seattle! I'm just your friendly neighborhood hero, Blackbird, here with an important mission for the citizen known as Chipmunk! One of my little birds have told me you can help me find the little girl I'm looking for."

Masquerade quickly moves with some fake karate moves before pointing out towards the city.

"The only ones who are crazy are those who do evil in this town. A punishment is coming in a murder of crows, their cries scream out and evil shall be Nevermore!"

Again, doing another swishy move with her hands she poses before the kids again. "Now, Sir Chipmunk, will you help me find Meraeth Eoerin?"
