And wow, I do not think I have ever rolled this well for a boss fight. Long history has me rolling like absolute garbage and turning the fight from "Wow! We barely made it out of that!" to, "Ummmh, so where was the boss?" My roll to see how many people we actually hit was :


10d20 → 120 (15+17+18+6+6+10+15+13+15+5)

re-rolling the duplicates  :  3d20 → 39 (15+9+15)
2d20 → 5 (1+4)

I think karma finally caught up with Howler #1 and is absolutely determined that they die lol.

Well that's that then.  Imveros, while I could spend edge to refill, I'd need two more hits at least to not die outright.  I'd rather burn a point to guarantee survival than spend one for a chance

As for the consequences and impending life altering disfigurement or whatever smiles throws at me, I'm accepting it.  From a story perspective, Arc was never "meant" to be a shadowrunner.  If anything the only time this whole game she was in her element was on that bike.  Given how much she did, I find it enjoyable to play a character that tries to do what she can despite the odds.

Feathers dodge roll, I actually got 5 hits cos I forgot the -2
dodge: rea 2, int 5, counterspell 5, edge 4: 16d6h5 6 (5 actual)

4 net hits get through.
Soak 16DV with bod 2, arm 11
soak: 13d6t5 2 ooh, not good.
edge to re-roll failures:

And it's not all he's got. But, melee dmg is Str dmg, so, that would be 4 and you're more than tough enough to take that.

Initiative so far is : As Smiley is at the top of the order I went ahead and posted my action. If CJ's or Trisk's rolls or actions would precede me and impact the monsters actions I'm happy to modify my post. Although CJ I'm going to have to ask for an opposed test for a -2 situational modifier for the nausea and vomiting. Use body+will, threshold is 4.

We still need Feathers and Masquerade. Arc & Yelena may roll initiative -5 and take one simple action on their turn if they so choose. (Even if the final roll is negative.)

Death Touch Core Rulebook pg 284 on Johnny : Opposed test is Body, Dmg is P. Target does not get to resist the dmg only the spellcasting test.
