Randal Outlaw: Jamie Outlaw’s grandfather, a well known and respected motorcycle stuntsman. Randal got his fame for  performing stunts that not even most riggers would do. All without the aid of augmentations, be they magical or ware based. A Rather well liked man.

Jessie Outlaw: Living up to the showman boating fame of Randal, is Jamie’s grandmother, a trickshot extraordinaire.  Adding to the air of mystery of the family, she too was capable of amazing deeds that absolutely would boggle minds of most. As a result of the entire family being rather inherently impossible, the rumors of the family began to circulate that they made some sort of deal with the devil.

The rest of the children would go on to have this same sort of.. well Devil’s Pact. Continuing the Legacy of being inherently lucky. But, dark happenings were afoot with this luck. Crazy Eddie, a competing stuntsman, was in the fast lane to overtake Randal when suddenly his own motorcycle exploded into flames, taking most of the stuntsman’s lower body with it. Madam Lead and her husband Boris the Human Target (Even though he was a troll) ended in tragedy as a blank was replaced with an actual bullet, killing Boris immediately as the squib in the apple was pushed into his throat.

This didn’t end with just the stunt couple. It continued through the children as well, who while not as great and amazing, still moved into rather top notch places through mysterious circumstances.

Then we have Jamie, The grandchild of Randal and Jessie who seemed to inherit both his grandfather’s motorcycle skills and his mothers sharpshooting. Unlike the last generation, Jamie was back in the saddle again, taking up some of the same habits his grandfather had before. While Randal eventually did end up having to get some cybernetics, he fought against it for as long as he could, until his body couldn’t take the abuse he was putting on it anymore, and retired from the stuntsman gig.

While there was not as much of a need for stuntsmen, Jamie wasn’t about to just let his family name fade into some business joke of how an accountant was named ‘outlaw’. And so he began to follow his grandfather’s tiretreads, taking his ass to the barrens to begin learning of life there, as well as use his stunts for.. well his own adrenaline.

Jamie became a bit of an adrenaline junkie, constantly looking for more exciting things to do, one of which landed him a few jobs shadow running. Though, his attitude and likeliness to go over the top makes him a rather limited pick to most who are looking for people.

He fancies himself a bit of a modern day Robin hood and doesn’t enjoy killing people just to kill them, as a result he rarely ever does wetwork, unless the one targeted he hates more than the thought of killing them.

I am from Israel. I'll intoduce myself in a way that is familiar to you.

Gil is  a young, married computer scientist with a cute daughter. Looking into making it big in Academia or Industry.  His true ambition is to be a good family man and to enjoy life one day at a time.

Backgoround: A former combat medic with some acting and performing history that decided he want to dedicate his life to studying philosophy. After an incident in the army where he nearly died, he decided that philosophy in itself is wrong for him.  He has a single truth that summarize his life. He is going to die - there is not much time left.

Since then, about 10 years ago - he is on a race.  He completed bachelors and Phd this time studying mathematics and computer science. Worked for a start up, a big cooperation and a mid size company. He even initiated a small independent business that never progressed to being more than a side job. He met his wife in the university and they are together for seven years.

His army commanders will say that Gilga's heart  is in the right place but he is difficult to control. He does not follow non combat orders very well, but function well under pressure where he keeps his cool temper no matter what.
His study mates report a driven and enthusiastic person, eager to learn and happy to call himself a geek. He has a broad range of interests and typically give problems a fresh and unexpected view.
He will never run the shadows willingly, he has many attachments, dependents family and stuff like that. He is also quite noticable and draw a lot of attention to himself. He was the only soldier in his unit to start a library and to turn on classical music at full volume every evening to watch the sunset.
His army nickname translate to English as: CrazyMedic.


He is skilled in first aid, the stealth skill group, acting skill group and firearms skill group. He also knows a lot about electronics and computers.  But has only basic knowledge of cyber combat or hacking - he has contacts that are professional hackers tough.

He is also skilled with handling explosives although he is no professional he knows enough not to blow himself out.  He hikes a lot so he definitely has proficiency in out doors and survival. His longest trip was the Israel national trail a 1,000 kilometer hike in Israel.

Coming to think about it if I was an anti social sociopath I could have make a fine runner.

PS: I really like Yelena's personality I think I know some people that are just like that. Except the killing stuff that is.

Hey Gilga.  Nice touch.  Sounds like you might have some common themes with both Arc and Yelena.  Both of us like music, although different styles, and she is into demolition stuff. Cool under pressure is good.  Are your dependents in Seattle with you?  Not sure that Yelena is the type of girl to take to meet your wife and daughter.  After all, as a runner, she is an anti-social sociopath, and might even qualify as a psychopathic killer.

My character will be some catholic priest that made a mess and got booted from the church. Due to one too many sexual scandals. He started a magical escort service other side of the world and his fixer one of his former clients whose blackmailing him because she discovered who he really was.
So he cannot refuse her until he decide to confess to his family what he really does for living - and they adore him so much. They'll literally lose all respect for him if he does.

Something like that I'll try to write it nicely. He'll be into music, art, Italian architecture, wine  - how can you live in the Vatican and not be into that stuff.

On that note, smiles, Mercy and I are working on our combined nuyen expenditures (and individual karma spending as well).  With that, on my end there are a couple of ideas I had that sorta lie outside the game equipment listings and as such might demand some (small) adjudication.

For attachments to the cyberarm, considered the possibility of a compartment that would house and deploy a handfulof mini or micro drones.  For reference, I looked at the cyber holster attachment, which is XXXX nuyen and Capacity 2.  What would be your ruling on price, capacity for such a thing?  Or a simple no if that is the answer :)

Same adjudication would apply to the idea of installing a set of retractable tools (ie "go-go-gadget screwdriver") into the arm, effectively treating it as a tool kit readily available.  I have no reference for this on capacity, and the standard cost of tool kits are 500¥.

That's about it for now on my end for outside of rules questions :). Nice touch on the briefing~

Run Faster has capacity "costs" for building various things into armor, including toolkits. If I remember the table at the end of the armor section correctly, a tool kit requires 6 capacity.

For what it's worth, drone racks were a vehicle mod in SR4. I would personally just treat such an item like a smuggling compartment with the same rules for moving items in and out of it as a reference. In SR4, a single drone rack held a single drone, but a smuggling compartment is capacity 5 so I'd consider allowing multiple drones with Body attributes totaling 5.

Just my opinion, of course. Reusing gear like that is something I feel like would be common, especially amongst the less fortunate. Necessity being the mother of all invention and all that jazz.

The best microdrone in there is Shiawase Kamushi. Marco will definitely get it. It is the size of an insect so you can even carry it in your pocket. It only cost 1k nuyen a steal I think.

For minidrone - the flying eye is the size of an eyeball - so it should fit in any open space that is big enough. It is also a cheap one with great value to money - get an eye in the sky for 2k - and it can contain a flashback for self destruct along with a smoke grenade. If things get desperate.
