When IT sees Sabato fleshes his gun she get stressed - we NEED that windshield and you show our hand too quickly.
She cast the invisibility spell and suddenly turn the car 180 degrees - at full speed ahead avoiding traffic she drives like a speed deamon to the other side, trying to find a nice side road to enter.

Peering into the astral, you see cyberware apparently located in the eyes, arms, and heads of your pursuers, but no indication that they have any Awakened characteristics.

As you whip the car around and blast the opposite way through traffic, you succeed in losing one of your pursuers to a particularly lucky (for you) knot of traffic blocking the path to you.  Unfortunately, the other seems equally skilled at dodging and weaving the wrong way through traffic, ramps gracefully off the windshield of a sports care, and is now gaining on you, no longer concerned with subtlety.

Baro leans out the window, carefully lining up his shot against his opponent and squeezing the trigger.

The attack was well aimed, but the helmeted combatant apparently saw it coming by a split second, swerving just fractions of a second before Baro pulled the trigger, sending the attack off with an uncomfortably near miss.

Meanwhile, Ivory kicks the car into high gear, roaring down the wrong way of the one way street, expertly weaving in and out of traffic with almost superhuman reaction time, quickly increasing the distance between her and the biker by 100 meters.

The attacker, now unable to reliably detect the car, releases control of the bike and raises his/her palm at eye level, quickly glances over the target area, and quickly sprays a stream of bullets from a small hole in the center of his/her palm at the best-guessed location of the vehicle.

As she rides down the lightly trafficked road, Yako begins to get a strong sense that something magical is definitely within a very close proximity to her.  The presence is difficult to miss; the aura is intense as a wave of nausea washes over her.

James relaxes in the car as Inanna crawls into the back seat to sleep.  Just as he begins to drift just a bit, he notices a small wisp of barely visible white smoke rising from underneath the hood of the vehicle.

Kyoko rides back to her safehouse, the events of the day running through her mind.  She is distracted momentarily by a sudden metallic ping resonating off the body of her bike, but after listening a few minutes more, the unusual sound does not return.

She arrives safely and unmolested at the safehouse.

The resonating ping off the bike worried her awfully. She'd heard of teams being brought down by tracker rounds or electronic sabotage to the key components.
Taking no chances, she turns the bike off and pulls back the seat to reveal the battery terminals. Gently she unclips them and takes a look over the bike in AR, searching for silent running devices before sweeping the bike carefully and thoroughly with the tag eraser.
Cursing out loud as she found the first tracker round, she removed it and zapped it repeatedly with her tag eraser before stamping it into pieces.
Making sure it was the only one, she resumed the search, making sure to leave no nook or cranny unchecked.
She began to feel uneasy as she found the second one tucked away deeply.
This was seriously not good....
She removed it and left it in the garage, presumably still communicating to its owner as she got back on the bike.
Now her position had been broadcast, the safehouse was not going to be safe.
She merged with traffic and made for the downtown district in search of a coffin motel for the night.

James is concerned about the wisp of smoke and checks the instrument AROs for the car, looking for any signs of problems. The car reports that it is in tip-top shape. James recalled an earlier run he was on where a decker caused a critical failure in an elevator system, much to the consternation of the passengers - and much to the benefit of his team's negotiation position - all the while keeping the security forces in the dark by tricking their status displays into reporting everything as performing nominally. He decided to wake Inanna, just in case this turned out to be a precursor to bigger problems.

"Hey, Inanna, sorry to wake you, but we might have car trouble." Or it might be something else - James was familiar enough with spirits to know that they sometimes were visible on the physical plane when passing through. Enough that they could be seen, even without mage sight. A faint shimmer, or a wisp of steam or smoke.

Jaws, there may be some spirits about in need of a little disrupting. Can you help an ass-kicker out? He hoped that the appeal to Jaws base desires would inspire him to help.

Inanna awakes with a small string of drool running down her cheek.  She turns her head, so that James can't see her wiper her face clean and says, "Alright, I'm up.  What's up?"  When James repeats himself, she says, "Ok, umm, this is no good.  Should we hit up the train station drop the car off, and re-evaluate from there?"

Common common common... IT is looking for some way out, some crazy or even desperate feat that will put her out of the line of sight of the bikers.  Will they manage to keep up? She hope not because they seem like they could finish her off before she would even notice. She is not used to danger being so close, she is afraid.

Lucky there is Sabato, but can she trust him? He could afford to take a bullet, he was built for the action. She survived so far because she did not attract the attention of such combat monsters. Not unprepared, if only her body was in a safe place she could probably take them down.  This should not have happened she thought as she kept driving, trying to avoid getting crushed looking for her way out.

The other cars were completely unaware of the drama, nearly crushing with her in a deadly accident. The stakes were so high and yet they were so calm. She said a digital prayer to her mentor - the silent one - he was all about slaying dragons, giving up fear. Being the best person you can be.

She felt as if he had given her inner strength, tranquility, there was the car there was the road, and nothing else. Her mind was completely focused as she navigated the street nearly crushing at times but not disturbing the peace.

"Works for me. A public venue might discourage any overt attacks as well if this is enemy action."

James disengages the vehicle's autopilot and takes the wheel. "Guide me there" he asks Inanna.

Yako gasps and quickly pulls over to the side of the road. She's so focused on trying to keep her last meal where it's supposed to be that she misses the car barreling through the lane she's merging into, her Reflex Enhancers and skill in riding a bike combined are just barely enough to prevent a collision and keep the bike under control.

Once she's finally pulled over safe, and still a bit shaken by the very near accident she looks into the astral, one hand on the bike to keep herself steady as she fights off the nausea.

Inanna pulls up directions on GridGuide from a burner comm, and tells James to take the next left.  "Ok, it depends on how quickly you think we need to get out of this hunk.  I'd rather drop the car off at the train station, if possible, so we don't have to pay for a car we're not using, but if it comes down to eating my deposit, or walking away from this, it's hit the streets time."

Inanna buckles in, checks her taser, and directs James to the train station.

Sabato would have prefered to face these cowards in close combat. Not that he didn't trust IT to keep them alive until he was finished with them.Running the shadows with his  old crew member, Dead End, had taught him to trust good drivers with his life.He could actually remember being in similar situations: The elven girl doing impossible stunts while he tried  to shoot armed targets.

When he caught himself thinking of her he was surprised.

Concentrate, you fool. You have become rusty.
