Personally, I'm imagining more gigs in indy type places.. The sort of places where the worse you are, the better they like you cause you're not mainstream.

Possibly as well those of us who are in the band, use it as the cover for our various operations on the shadowrun side.

Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Aside from Lady Naga and Lasso, any ideas on runner names? ::)
Oh please, the Centaur was gonna be "Lasso."  You're Cowboy…

All joking aside, any more uncommon snake name Asp or somesuch might work.

Unless you want to go for the really silly names like Monty the Python, or Sir Hiss.

@Novocrane

So I did a quick lookover of your naga…
I really recommend against taking Symbiosis in the Smoke.  Especially with a Low lifestyle but mostly in general, since there's very few places in London you could Attune to and not take a persistent -2 to all physical dice pools

However if you're set on it, The Village district of London in Hampstead Heath way up north seems like your best bet, and there are a few low class suburbs in it.  It's also the centre of power for the Druidic movement though so… take what you will from that.

The other thing to be concerned about is In Debt -5.  As long as you understand that means you owe ¥37,500 to someone who is expecting monthly payments of ¥3,750 to keep them from tying you into knots, off of a Published Mission's payout…. then you're good.  Othwerwise you may look like:

You make good points on both, Prof.

Negative metagenetics are pretty difficult to slot together when you have a theme and are taking incompatibility into account (it does say you have to be equal +30 / -30 or err on +1 positive, but can I just fudge the negative qualities and count it as -30 when it goes over?), and I can trim about 15k from gear. TBH, not sure what Missionss payouts are like, but I'm assuming low and that only cold, hard credsticks count as repayment for debts.

Hi guys, past few days have been pretty hectic for me IRL and I havent had a lot of time to spend on my character.

I've nearlly finished and should hopefully have him finished after work on monday. I thought I should just give you a heads up that I might be a little late.

Sorry

Personally, I don't quite like the 5th edition changelings as much as I liked the fourth edition ones. Mostly the +30/-30 effect.. When it used to give you double the positive and equal negative of what you spent. Just so hard to go into  the whole mutagentic thing without something totally off basis like being a very fat shadowrunner, stinking like crazy or something else that goes against what I was wanting for my character.

Though on the otherside.. It doesn't cost positive quality points anymore..

If they had negative metagenetics at -2 or -7 that weren't full of incompatibilities, that would do it for me.

What do you mean by that?

Like Scales being incompatible with fur?

Pretty much. Also things that aren't exclusive, but contradict each other - camouflage and bioluminescence, mood hair, striking skin colouring, etc. It cascades as you try to shift things around.

Which is how I wound up taking feathers and looking like quetzacotl.

You're a good man Charlie Brown!

Are we all set for IC tomorrow? Anyone heard from the bossman recently?

Well when we get close to finalizing our characters, maybe post them as your first post in the OOC thread?  That makes it easy to reference and crosstrack?
