With a grunt, Krestov steadied his stance whilst the guards were dropped by the two adapts' bullets.  Cursing silently, he brushed off the offending bullet from the back of his knee, the spent electric round clattering to the ground.  Hearing the guards, he turned to the others, only to hear bnc running and calling for aid.

It was more than the troll needed to make a decision.  He recalled an old trid about lasers. in hallways: it did not end well. Finding the access point, he brought his knee up, driving the heel into the access cover.

"Do it.  Torrent, slob, take point.  Secure room.  I take rear guard.rather I take lasers than you.Let them come through door, use grenades.  I will suppress, you clean up.  Questions?"

The protective casing wasn't able to withstand that amount of force and just flew of the wall, giving bnc clear access to the universal connector. Immediately an ear piercing alarm sounded, but since the enemy already knew about them and the security team was out of order, there wasn't much it could do besides being annoying.

"Yeah, got it. One quick thing." Slobbertooth kicked off the helmet of one of the intruders and fired his last bullet into the exposed face. "Waste not, want not." Slobbertooth pulled out a speed loader of APDS rounds and slammed it into his now-empty Ruger.

You can throw a tusker sized grenade, can't you, big guy? He tossed a flashbang grenade to Krestov and Torrent, leaving himself with one. He drew a flashpak into his left hand, keeping his Ruger in his right.

No time to lose.

bnc makes a decision, fast as usual. She pulls out the cable from her datajack and joins the troll.
"I need online time. Kretov, carry me. As soon as you kicked free the direct access, jack me in. I don't have time to run."
With that, she jumps into his arms and - should he not refuse - goes limp immediately.

In the virtual space, bnc withdraws from her fight with Tartaros. She lost, and there's no way she's going to find a way around the defensive systems in the given time. Plan B.

She again gives a command to the drone. bnc flies it into the guard's back and takes aim. Just like a computer game.
peng peng As she has learned in some online tutorial, she pulls the virtual trigger twice.

As soon as the guard went down, and the physical link is displayed to bnc, she attacks the door. Still a little mad (and confused) about her attack before, she forgets the simplest tricks. It takes her a split-second to remember them, but finally the door opens with a hiss.

After kicking of the cover, the autonomous security system was already on high alert when bnc entered. After her first failed attack, the system noticed her:
A huge bullheaded minotaurus, followed by a hydra and a enormous kraken (that actually violated the iconography of the host). bnc had time to hit the door again, before the virtual horns of the half-bull grazed her persona. Her programs told her, that she just had barely avoided the attack of a blaster program and that she was mere micro seconds away from a dedicated attack from a Black IC and a nasty Sparky program.

... And suddenly she was out, her head spun and she felt blood gushing from her nose. She became aware of Krestov's worried face looking down on her.

Torrent and Slobbertooth meanwhile faced the second guard: After his comrade had gone down, he was just in the process of applying a slap patch. Without hesitation he dropped it and went for his sidearm.

Krestov had responded to the commands with fluid motion, holstering his Crusader and catching the flashbang in his right hand, scooping up bnc in his left, his shield providing support and a barrier as she fell over his shoulder whilst he pocketed the grenade.  The door access point was easy to find, and kicking off the cover was almost easier than his practices breaking multiple wooden boards in his training.  The alarms rang in his ears as he knelt, grabbing the human's access cable and plugging her in, experience telling him she would only need 2 seconds.  At three, something would have gone wrong, and she would need help out...and not the nice way...

She blinks and sees Krestov, her head still spinning. She turns around to let the blood run out of her nose before it grows to a pool inside her nose. It takes her a moment to realize what's happening. Staggering, she gets up again and tries to shake that strange feeling off.

Crap! This is gonna cost me. He probably saved my life.

Despite the shit hitting the fan around her, she casts a look with admiration and relief at the big troll who protects her better as even her big sister did. Kerstin...

Just noticed, that quick draw is done with reaction, so I won't have to reroll the check from earlier.

Also: If you fail your quick draw you con still shoot, just not with the same action, so Slobber still could get a shot in before the intruder can react.

Despite the sudden appearance of enemies, the intruder kept his cool and managed to draw his gun at Torrent. He pulled the trigger three times in quick succession before the adept could react. There was a hard impact but little pain - for the moment...

As a matter of fact I got one more die for defense (Combat Sense 1) so I'll roll this and go on full defense as a reaction.If I don't get 2 hits from the 3 dice(1 combat sense + 2 willpower) I'll probably roll Edge, cause 6P is a lot of damage and I guess I'll have to be on the top of my game for the mission finale )
