I'll add that into my next IC post, something along the lines of "You gonna pick us up back here or are you leaving the car? We need a getaway vehicle of some sort, if we're going to put some distance between us and the traphouse."

If FP is coming with his bike; I figure we can probably get out of there with the keys of novacoke without the car. I'm hoping though that One67 will meet us shortly after we finish the run, so that we don't have to hold onto this stuff for a while.

It's safer for him, and adequate enough for us.

First off: Not 'Haul Arse' exactly, but not an obvious recce complete with rubber necking.

Depending on the location, I want a Google Street Map type view of the location, accessing any rear view we may. Have you given us the location OOC? I couldn't find it.

Electronic eyes make up for a lot that human (meta or otherwise) miss. Of note: Marcus is looking for the back view, any back door, any rear facing windows, the front door, the front street, a place to stash the bikes and a getaway route.

I'm not so certain about the whole "speeding past" part. Seems a little noisy and conspicuous to me.

I don't deny that getting some reconnaissance is a good idea, but Viso would rather have something a little more subtle.

Yes - Marcus is suggesting that he looks like an Ork GoGanger with his bike etc. He can go past at normal speed with a recording device; this looks better than the alternative which is going past slowly, rubber necking the joint.

It's damn near in the same neighborhood as the trainyard. about 11 blocks west and 10 blocks north. 15-20 minute walk. a leisurely walk.

Dang trees block any aerial view, but I think I found a solid way to sneak 'em. I'll point out what I reference in here to keep the IC post cleaner.

The First View is immediately to the left, facing the front of the house. Notice how there is a bit of empty space there. Also note the tiny waist-high fence. Could play distraction and sneak around.

Or (P.S. you can use the mouse wheel to scroll out on these next 2 pictures... I just have them zoomed in so you can see where specifically I am talking about.)

Looking at the second view, you'll notice how the back door is facing away from the empty space shown in the first pic, instead of straight back into the backyard. This could mean there's a chance any guard there would be in front of that door and facing away as well.

Which takes me to the third view, if we hop that fence (assuming we don't alert the home owner there) we could potentially sneak over to the backdoor and either quiet-kill the guard, or if no one is there, attempt to hack/pick the lock open for quiet entry.

Even if we didn't use any of the methods provided by Byte, Those are the 3 pictures I got of the place that aren't the original, which should provide the best view of the back you're going to find.

EDIT: I dunno how good my last IC post looks. It's a bit clunky, like how we discuss casing, then I snag the com... But, I just assume the pics gave us an idea of what to look for, and Byte gave his thoughts on what to look for in planning. From there, we can still recon and it should fit in fairly well, I think.

I'm (well Marcus is) wondering if we know the area. Any of us have any local knowledge for this area? Marcus has none.

Also - we have 2 bikes and 3 of us. Marcus' bike is a chopper so Viso could ride 'bitch' if he wants.

So, hopping on the public grid, and gonna search out any icons connected directly to the target. Depending on how this goes, and what's there, I'm gonna try to install a backdoor on any locks in the building and any guns that are turned on wirelessly. I assume the doors would be connected (slaved) to the building's central node, so 1 hack of that with a backdoor in place should let me unlock the doors at will later. (Trying to remember SR5 specifics, since I'm in a RP group for SR4 as well. )

As for the guns, I'd have to locate each commlink in use, hack each, then install the backdoors, if I want to disable any "smart" weapons. This I can skip on, since it's another handful of rolls.

Anyway, the roll is (Computer+INT vs Logic+Sleaze p.241): Matrix Perception: 10d6t5 2  Assuming it's not running silent, the 1st mark allows me to find it, and for the 2nd mark I want to know: What grid it's running on. (I'll use the grid it's on later to attempt to hack it and place my backdoor.)
