Ok, having read the posts we're at a place where the conversations between Jed & Yelena, and Ambrose & Marco are at important junctures and as such I want them to play out without rushing. It's good timing for Arc anyway as she's at the next day and Boom won't be posting for a bit while he's on his anniversary. I totally love you guys. Gilga, I don't think anything could have shown Marco's fastidiousness and attention to detail than that post about wet footprints and making extra work.  Arc & Yelena sitting on a couch and discussing codes so that Arc's not interrupted when she's getting quality time with her Vruk. And I'm the worlds luckiest GM to have players who will make posts about sipping coffee and leaving wet footprints and chopping vegetables. ---Male

2. What is your characters physical size?

---Some would say I am small for an orc but then for a human, I am built like a linebacker.

3. What is the color of the characters Hair and eyes?

Hair: Shaved head, But it can be any style or color you want
Eyes: Changes, but normally blue.       

4. What is the character's general appearance (i.e., How does he dress, etc.)?

---Normally I just like to be relaxed in a pair of old jeans and a ratty t-shirt. But I'll dress to whatever the occasion calls for. You see *winks*, I got a talent for changing up my looks.

5. Where was the character born (City, State, Hospital Name)?

---Chicago, Illinois to a midwife in my parents apartment

6. What is the characters date of birth?

---July of 2052

7. What was the character's family life like?

---Lotsa kids, mom running around after them. Of course being in Chicago at the time wasn't the healthiest environment to grow up in. Had a bit of a bug problem. *chuckles* Actually it wasn't too bad as a kid. We grew up in a small community that had taken refuge in the bottom levels of an underground parking garage. We were pretty secure to run around and play as kids, but I didn't see daylight til I was much older.


8. Has the character begun his own family?

---Naw, never really had the chance.

9. Where or how was the character educated?

---Learned on the streets. And from some of the adults that would teach classes now and then.

10. Has the character ever done anything else for a living?

---Besides whatever it took to survive? Never really had the chance 'til the walls came down and I got out.

11. What are the characters beliefs on church and state?

---Fanatics, one and all.... Then you have those folks that belive in god. Never had much use for any of them.

12. Describe the characters Moral code. Include how mercenary he is, whether or not he'll kill innocents, etc.

---Some may say my compass doesn't exactly point North. I am not some pious goody-two-shoes. But no, I am not one to kill an innocent.

13. What are the character have any goals?

---Make a little scratch so I can live out the rest of my life someplace warm.

14. Why does the character run the shadows? (Why does he run the shadows still, rather than getting a "real" job?)

---I got the skills to survive. Maybe I can make a little money that way.

15. What kind of personality does your character have? This should not necessarily be obviously stated in the background, as it is more important for actually playing the character, but it may color or add mood to the history.

---People say I'm a bit jaded. I just like to think that I am more of a realist. It's not exactly like I grew up in a world of kittens and rainbows.

16. What special qualities does the character possess? This does not refer to skills, but rather at other things, such as How he gets along with people, does he plan ahead, etc.

---People say I am a survivor. I'll do what it takes to survive.    

17. Are their certain things the character can't or won't do? Why?

---Growing up in Chicago the way I did mena that a lot of the regular rules didn't apply. I mean there wasn't exactly you friendly neighborhood police force (The sarcasm oozes there) to keep the peace. You kept it yourself if you wanted any. Now I am not some monster but I have had to make the choice of killing a child's mother in front of the youngin' cause mommy dearest started growing more appendages than were exactly proper.

18. What things, people, or ideas does the character hate?

---Traitors and layabouts.

19. What things people, or ideas does the character love?

---I loved my family and friends. Tried getting the one that wanted to leave Chicago to come with me but many just weren't up to the challenge of leaving the city. It wasn't exactly a walk i the park for me. It would have been suicide for some of them.

20. What is the character's name? Give both full birth name, as well as nicknames, street names, etc.

---Blake is my given name, never really cared about last names in the compound where I grew up. Nicknames and streetnames are too numerous to remember them all. I tecd to change them as often as a new pair of socks.

21. Determine what your character used to do, before becoming a shadowrunner (very important).

---Got myself out of Chicago as soon as I was old enough to be on my own. Traveled North America a bit learning about life outside of that hell. Found I was pretty good at getting what I needed to get by. People would probably say I was a con man and a thief. but they always had more than they needed.

22. Decide why your character left his or her old job, if he had one. (also important).

---Still doing the same thing now.

23. Come up with a reason for why the character became a shadowrunner. (This very often will tie in with #22. This is not the same as #14, but rather why he started running the shadows originally. What led him to it?)

---Had a buddy that knew my paricular skillset. He set me up with a couple of guys. Both of them the biggest set of meatheads you could find. But they had uses. Did a few runs with them, mostly little jobs here and there. Nothing big league. But it got my feet wet.


24. How did your character come to know his or her contacts? Contacts are an important part of Shadowrun, decide how and why you know them.

---WIP

25. Does the character have a SIN? Does the character actually use it? Or is the character one of the SINless_masses? This may be affected by the characters previous employment.

---Nope Sinless as the day I was born unless you count the fake ones I use when I can get them.

26. Is the character a full-time shadowrunner? Or does the character lead a Batman-like double existence?

---I wouldn't say full-time runner. More of a full-time survivor.

27. Which person(s) or group(s) do you love the most?

---I love my family, and Friends that are close enough to be family. There is a difference between blood and family.

28. Which person(s) or group(s) do you hate the most?

---I'd have to say those damn bugs are up there on my list of most hated. Don't relly care for them much. And I'd like to kick the man that created Fab in the balls a few hundred times.

---I gotta say I'll give more respect to those that can live their life keeping their word. I don't mean some pious always speak the truth type. But those that say if something is going to get done it will.

---Steak and eggs. The real stuff not some soy crap.

Came across a little diner once down in the CAS. Best damn meal I ever had. It was a greasy spoon on the side of an old highway. Trucks lined up all in the parking lot. The placed looked like a bomb had hit it, but the food was damn good.

33. What place would you most like to visit?

--- I'd like to find some little tropical place to retire to. Somewhere that'll keep an old orc like me happy for a few years.

Indeed, CJ, glad you're enjoying things   Glad to say that Feathers is still a relevant force in this story, and hope we honor him with that.

As for the Karma...given how I have NO idea what the objectives are, I find these little surprises to be quite enjoyable   At the moment, I'm gonna hold on spending any until the group does get some downtime...and what I see with Arc, a few things storywise up in the air that I wanna see what direction they go before making decisions.  Still, wiz!
