Try a sniper rifle.  That can give you added range.  Talk to Yelena.  She really appreciates the drones used to help her out.  She could help her friend fund something more.

Totally love it when you guys talk weapons. May I suggest something with some targeting scanners and a skillsoft. Maybe a back-up spray & pray drone?

Gun based drones do have some merit towsrds having firepower, especially if Arc drift towards not being physically at a location for whatever reason ^^  I do believe she has enough karma to invest in a decent Gunnery skill...

All good points on the weapons types for sure...given enough cred, I could imagine having a small stable of different weapon types mounted on for flexible options...or with her Armorer skill, switching out in prep for a run

A flying sniper or assault drone would certainly work...throw a silencer on, slap some autosofts on, yeah, this could get fun.  (And if I'm using it without being jumped in, I use Log instead of Agility!)

Mercy, you'll note towards the beginning of my character lost I kept Arc and Yelena's bounty pool separate from Arc's money supply.  Something to bear in mind.

Yes, I know that you kept them separate, even if you did not have to.  Yelena was willing to let you spend the whole thing to help out.  She still is.  After expenses and lifestyle costs, what she has is yours as partners.

I can get behind that . Especially after seeing how it all went down with this skirmish...these purchases for Arc definitely worked as a (very) effective extension of Yelena'a abilities.  Perhaps the two girls will have to talk money once these jobs are through to see where we go from here?

An Ares Alpha makes a very good multi-use combat platform for a rotodrone. You don't have to pay for the heavy weapons mount. You can do targeted fire just short of a sniper rifle, it gives you the spray and pray option. And you have a grenade launcher for a variety of rounds.

Wow, that is just absolutely sexy Raven's Oracle. I've had a little thing for weaponry ever since I read my first DMG & PHB and learned the differences between glaives & halberds. I've wanted my own weaponry collection ever since.

The problem with armed drones (if Arc cares about it) is legality - the Dooberman tough is a legal choice and it is the cheapest 'fighting' drone there is 5k a piece comes with a weapon mount already. So despite the Ares alpha being the sexy weapon, I'd suggest AK-97.

Simple, cheap, accurate with high damage - and can be modified with enough recoil to take the full burst with no penalties. Nothing say 'and stay down' better than -9 to doge.
It is completely legal, she could have her AK-97 armed Dooberman driving around town and even if the cops stop her a fake licence should do the trick. There is also the lynx that is legal but it cost a lot more.  It also use the pilot ground craft skill that Arc already has.

I agree with you gilga if Arc wants legal she can run the AK with regular rounds. But if she uses APDS or other F availability rounds she'll still be running into legal issues.

I have to agree with Arc.  In the Barrens, legal is what you say is legal.

ANYHOW, decided to do up another sketch of Arc for the hell of it.  Mostly depicting a "monitoring from several drones at once" situation.  Had a lot of fun, this one I am the most happy about for sure
