Marco allow the glass to brake flooding the space with small pieces of glass "you should also be able to squeeze easily... if your beak can fit through an opening." Once Yelena inside the van Marco draws a sketchy demon inside and then one of the people becomes a fish."The Daemon with you will identify the mage and potentially make him a fish for you... now grab the fish and get out!" he thinks.

Yelena-octopus grabs the fish-mage and leaves the van.  **Now can move by jet with mage.  Go where Tuskaloosa wait.  Move faster other men.  They clothes.  They panic in water.  Yelena give mage Tuskaloosa then change.**

I think at Yelena "This is scenario one... well done... The problem begins if the mage is conscious in that case we cannot make him a fish and we should hurry." Marco reset again.
This time  the mage leaves the van and tries to gasp for air along with some other humans. When they see Octopus Yelena they start firing their AK-97's that in this simulation work under water (though Marco has no idea if the Russian gun really works underwater.)   "Any ideas? Yelena... I haven't figured that one out I am making it up as we go."

Yelena-octopus laughs as well as an octopus can laugh.  **Yelena think man in freezing water after crash think other things than carry rifle.  Man in heavy gear and rifle sink.  Man should drop rifle and toss armor to escape.**

Marco thinks "Fair enough... I may have overdid it." Some of the man goes up some of them goes down and the daemon indicates one of them as the mage. When Yelena approaches the mage he tries to protect himself with a survival knife, desperately swinging it to all directions.

Outside in the chill, Arc was glad to be wearing a coat as she watched Yelena and Marco disappearing as octopi into the dark water.  "...frag it if that ain't weird..."  she sighed a bit, spotting Firefly taking a stance by the concrete, watching intently.  Hmming to herself, the mechanic gave a nod and stood a number of feet away, whipping out a cigarette and lighting it with her finger.  Puffing a couple times, she let it rest on her lips as she took a breath.

"I'll never understand mojo, omae.  It don't make much sense.  Tech, machines?  Yeah, I know how they work.  They work like they're supposed to, and if they don't, there's a way to fix it.  Don't apply here, do it.."  Flicking off some ash, she made sure to keep her distance unless offered otherwise...after Firefly's cigar experience, Arc was not about to force her to breathe in more smoke without her saying so.

Yelena-octopus envelopes the knife-wielding mage with two arms, encircling the torso and arms.  A slight squeeze can render the man harmless.  She shoots a jet of ink into the area to cover her escape then forces water through the siphon to shoot away at a rapid speed.  She goes all the way back to where they entered the water, remaining at just below where the water conceals her.  **Marco change Yelena back.**  As the body changes back, Yelena rises from the water like Honey Ryder, albeit with less clothing on.  She walks to the open car door and climbs in to let the heater warm her up.  "Yelena thank Srui for heater."

"You might be surprised, Arc-sensei," I answer into the night, my gaze remaining out on the water even as I verbally acknowledge my companion.  "For me, magic is little different from programming.  Instead of using mathematics to command a circuit, I use mathematics to command the aether.  My arcana and my programming harness the same techniques.  Electrons and mana have a lot in common."

Arc raised a little brow at this revelation, pulling from her smoke before letting it out, her eyes turning to her.  "Really...so set rules, I pro'lly just don't understand drek all on em.  Hmm"  She shrugged, watching the dark murky waters before thinking on it more.

"So basically the mana is the power...the flow of info and energy through the circuit...that must make you and Marco like hardware then.  The processors and northbridge to where the energy is flowed and directed...huh..."   She scratched her head, thinking really hard and remembering that now she has met at least four different styles of mages in the past few months.   "How you practice magic is the firmware then...that drek won't change, and it's your BIOS system...and the spells...software then?"

She paused as she watched the wet, cold, and very much naked Yelena emerge from the water, her white hair soaked and dripping as she held her arms for warmth.  Instinctively, Arc pulled up her Americar widget ARO and popped open the car and turned it on, cranking the heat and popping the trunk to give access to a blanket.  At the mention of thanks, Arc gave a nod, letting her warm up and redress before they would get back into the car...she wasn't sure how the decker would react to riding with a naked elf at her side.

Well this was about as much as I could keep it going. We swim back and I make Yelena a women again. As for myself I am  doing the same, screaming out of joy as I exist the water with nothing but a smile I rush to my clothes and put them on. The cold is still in my bones but it does not hurts anymore. I feel alive! I then rush like a crazy to Arc's car and say... "any chance to return with you? Too cold for waiting for taxi. " ... " Incredible animals these octopi you should have seen Yelena down there. She was born to do these things."

Yelena rubs her arms in the car, helping to restore the circulation in her near-frozen limbs.  The heat blasting from the car heater helps immensely.  Before long, Yelena is able to pull her pants and shirt back on, glad that they are dry.  She reminds herself that a towel will be a great asset for this mission, especially if something goes wrong and she is on the King Scorpion with Tuscaloosa instead of in the warm car.  Certainly this is part of the plan they need to discuss in greater detail.

She opens the door for Marco so he can climb in and share the heat.  She calls out to the others, "Yelena ride back with Tuskaloosa.  Stay warm.  Was much interesting.  Much fun.  Yelena think plan good.  Just need warm towel.  Maybe small heater ready?"

I was so lost in my thoughts that Yelena's departure from the water barely registered for me.  What really breaks my reverie is a sharp "woot!" which draws my attention to the sound just slightly left of where I had been staring.  My eyes focus in time to see the ghostly pale image of Marco rising from waist to thigh from the deep.  His face reminds me of a dog alight at the return of his master, but the expression draws my notice for only a second as my gaze drops to the appearance of...

Oh...

My!

My nose is no longer cold as I witness yet another sight my memory will never let me unsee.

Arc gave a nod to Yelena as she warmed herself, hoping that Tuskaloosa wasn't freaking out about sharing the warmth of the car with a naked elf.  Or two..holy drek.. She had caught herself just in time to spot Marco jumping out of the water and streaking along to the warmth as well.  The human was glad she kept the trunk open..the blankets will keep her upholstery in the car dry.

Turning back to Firefly, the human threw down the remnants of her cigarette and stomped it out, catching her dumb stare at where Marco had emerged, seeing her cheeks flush red. Oh drek...here we go..  She chuckled and shook her head, stepping over and giving her a tap on the shoulder.  "When you ready.."  She said to the younger before heading back to the car, stretching her shoulders before observing the developing space issue she was starting to see.

"Glad the plan worked....gonna bit a tight fit, sorry Tuska...Marco, I'll take ya, but we're all gonna have to squeeze in..with Yelena and Tuska in the back, I could maybe fit two in the front.."  She glanced back at Firefly, remembering how she recoiled at Marco touching her.  "What do you think, you too stretched to maybe work a little mojo on this sitch?"  Hopping back in the car, she remotely closed up the trunk and let them warm up, again checking the time...

"I...I can only imagine how drained Marco-san must be right now," I stumble over my words as I follow up in Arc's rear.  "More magic wouldn't be fair."

I look around at the options.  Sit in a troll's lap or sit pressed up against Marco.

What did your poor child do, Allah, for such choices!

Allah is testing me, I know.  Trolls.  It's not that I'm prejudiced or anything, but...they smell.  And although this 'Tuskaloosa' seems to be less dim than the average, they're a pretty dull lot.  Now don't get me wrong, the trolls who have filled out my protection detail or provided muscle in my ops have been great assets.  I've stood up for and advocated for my troll team members when Renraku tended toward more Japanese 'excesses'.  But...well...they had their personal world and my human, elf, and dwarf friends had ours.  Even some of the more refined orks.  'Goblins' just don't have much in common with the rest of us.

Yet here I am with a choice.  A troll's lap or snuggled up with Marco-san.

Argh!

I hate myself but, "I'll sit up front with Marco.  I...it's not my first choice, b...but he's a team member and I can help keep him warm."

I was going to open my mouth to say something about turning into a cat or anything... but then the prude Muslim suggest the most outrageous plan ever. Help me keep warm but she barely look at me. In my mind snuggling with Yelena made more sense but at this point I am a bit dizzy. I move to the front and tell Arc “Looks like we need some bigger ride.” not that I mind snuggling with Firefly. Although it is a bit awkward providing she haven’t spoke to me more than a few words so far.

“So... m... Firefly, are you sure you would not be more comfortable if I am a house cat?”
I say as I try to squeeze in the front.
