Nice, Appreciate the offer I'll take you up on that beer, cold or not it sounds good to me daddy turned to Saint as he popped the tab

I got a few, I can mute someone and turn them Invisible, Thermo sight or not, other then that i can throw a illusion over an area to make it look like whatever, empty hall, pool etc, As long as i'ce laid eyes on it before

Daddy watched Snow get relaxed in his car before turning back to the others

A quick slug of the beer, which warm or not daddy apreciates

And thats about all i got on the illusion front, Not too much I'm Afraid

Speaking of which I do have a couple non lethal options and if this other team has a big bruiser theres a good chance i can force him to fight them, If need be

Post count 12

Isaint nodded: "Good enough. The invisibility would be very useful for a small scouting tour previous to our intrusion. Could you make me invisible for - let's say - half an hour? I could scout ahead, open some doors and look for patrols. If Snow gives me a data tap, I can also establish some direct connections beforehand."

I bind the Spirits of shadow to thee,Trespass unseen, a deadly shade in the night

Solo sighed, there was something unnatural about daddy... Many people would have been hurt by the way the Frenchman spoke, but he did not he said sorry and switched teams. The thing is he does not seem the type with enough skills to hide his emotions. When he asked for help he was the first to reply eager to help. He saved Solo the need for summoning spirits by doing the astral recon and happily accepted help. Not all runners accept help, some are too proud. Solo would have been perfectly cool if one of the teammates was more skilled and he was just a backup. In fact, being sort of jack of many trades he often encountered people that were better then himself at many things. He learn he adopts he grows over time. The one truth in this business, it does not matter how skilled you are... it matters if you get the job done and there are many handles on any door.  Daddy seemed to be the kind that can prosper, with a no ego friendly approach, he can get far.

DrZombol if you use orokos, you can roll 10d6t5 and it will count the success for you.
Also, if you cast invisibility you can significantly augment it with the spirit concealment power.
One raises the threshold in perception check for detection, the other reduces dice from that perception check the combination - truly remarkable.

"Well then, hit me." Isaint made sure that he had readied his autopicker and made sure that nothing on his person would rattle or make any other unnecessary noise. After a moment of thinking he took the rifle with him: If he kept invisible, it wouldn't hinder him and if he was spotted... well at least he would have a rifle.

He rubbed over the back of his head, were the hair was still quite short. A nice fellow in Rome had tattooed god's all seeing eye on there. Since then he could concentrate and perceive the shadow world of the astral. He was very careful with this power. There were stories of practitioners who had become addicted to the raw power of such things.

When he was ready he opened a connection to Snow Crash: <<I'm going in for a recon mission under a invisibility spell. I'll take a few data taps with me. Give me a call if you notice something you want a direct connection with.>>

The trio of runners finally arrived in Oxford, at this time of the day traffic was light. The Frenchman was trying hard to identify the surrounding, hoping that if he had been there before, something would pop up in his empty memory. But just as it has been for the last few months, nothing. As empty as a hobo's wallet. That feeling he had when seeing Isaint lingered in his mind. Maybe the two had worked together before, and the man was just trying to remain professional. Maybe they met in different circumstances, a bit more 'unfriendly'? He had to find out... as soon as this run would be over.

Solo, I have one more job for you. If Oxford is like London there are cameras at every corner. Can you access them? I want to park down the road of the Hotel, maybe in front of the Tom Phillips Museum if there's a spot. Making us unseen - loop, illusion, whatever else you've got in your sleeves  - could help us.

For now, let's get our rooms and quickly get to the Ball. It's late already, don't want us to look too suspicious.

After Isaint had winked out of sight and once he'd finished his message to Snow, Al put a burn-melted hand on his shoulder. "Little pathfindin' never hurt nobody, 'specially until some Prince Charmin' comes 'long an' gives our Sleepin' Beauty there a wake-up kiss, but I'm thinkin' we make the minutes count. Do her in fifteen 'stead o' thirty if'n ya can, an' then moment yer back I say we roll. All this assumin' we got till such an' such a time's a fool's play pure an' simple. Fact o' the matter is, we got no reliable idear in hell when those other cats is gon' make they play, an' ever minute we wait is a minute they got ta prep, or be there already, or even be the hell an' gone."

The little man's sandpaper voice sent wafts of beer and smoker's breath at the ork.

"Reckon we all three teams gotta go at once, but ahmina try lightin' some fire's under they asses while yer gone. Now, is there anything in particaler you want prepped in the meantime?"

Solo scanned the city map, along with camera's positioned.

"Like you know already... I can hack stuff and do spells. But since we might have a skilled group of runners jumping into our action I don't want to use magic or even hacking for the drop. Magic leaves astral signature and a skilled hacker will see that the camera is hacked and will know it is our ride. The most stealthy thing right now is to just drop and keep the car on autopilot nearby - we can use magic and stuff when we leave and we do not care about signature because by the time it get discovered we are long gone. Just the fact that there are so many camera's does not get you noticed before you did anything wrong... too much information is no information at all."

We can use magic and hacking on the way back when we don't care if it is discovered shortly after because we're already half way to the drop.

He disguise himself as someone else his face shift with some other features... this is my face for this run... I can erase the camera feed later.
How about this plan?

[Tobbis -Wednesday June 17th, 2076 - Heading towards Manor in his Jackrabbit with Sarah - Kid Extraction team - Current condition 2 Stun damage, Currently in VR in Hot-Sim - Setting up Satlink ]
Upon getting closer to the manor, Tobbis sends the signal to the car to stop still a ways away, and finally removes his mask from his face, pulling back his hood. The dogheaded humanoid was rather brightly colored, his facial features forming more of a short muzzle, and dog like face then the human he had been born as.

"Just waiting on the third person to show up, in the mean time, tell me your plan. I'm still listening even if I am in VR." His voice was child like, and he takes a moment to point to the microphones he's placed a few locations in the car. "I've got one of them a camera.. I don't think the others took any.. A shame too. Its so much easier to help when I can see things."

Pulling a small box out of his trunk he sets up the Satlink, "Now the main thing is, we've got to make sure that the Dood gets out, so.. I'll provide some matrix support until we think we can go. Cause I'm not exactly you know. Known for my body carrying abilities. I can knock out a few people, or treat injuries, and such.. but yeah." after setting a few of the left over micro crameras up, he pulls out his braincable to hook up into the Satlink, sitting cross legged facing the direction of maths building.

>>I'm not sure about Watcher's, ritual spirits are something I unfortunately had no experience with. However your description sounds correct.

As they reached the house Sarah looked out the car window. "Wolf should be able to carry them out. As for the guard, I was thinking about having an illusion come out, either some kind of emergency or some leg, whichever you think will work the best. Then we knock him out. He's just doing his job and a death is more likely to have the cops really take interest in nabbing us. That's the general gist of it. THe watcher spirit hopefully won't be much of a problem, time after the guard leaves his post and if we trigger the watcher is going to be the major concern. Any holes you can see in it?"

Over the car's speaker system "Well, I can't say for certain. Magic stuff I have now experience with either.. We don't want to do anything before the others make their move though so we don't trip up the main grab."

To Daddy and Solo

<<At the moment we're at a distance away from the manor, though we're unsure how to proceed. I've very little knowledge about these watcher spirits, Flesh, blood and Steel are my forte. Magic, not so much. Even Shadowrun online is very vague about it... Does throwing stones distract the watcher spirit allowing you to sneak past like it did in that one movie about the two street children who find a dragon in some prison system?>>

Solo replied mr.peabody
<< If I understand correctly, watcher spirits are the weakest kind of spirit... some do not even consider them real spirit they cannot materialize, only manifest and therefore has no way to interfere with the material word. They are mainly used to watch and notify the mage if something is wrong,

It is not easy to sneak past a watcher, especially in a sparsely populated area, your best bet is just being quick enough.  >>

Daddy to Mr.Peabody

From what i know they are basically really weak beings, Not sure what they are exactly, from my experience they are basically like a magic security camera, They follow their orders and say if they are ordered to report because of intruder they can at almost the speed of thought, since they exist purely in the astral, That's about all i got, Love Daddy

"I'll try to be fast, but I won't hurry. Stealth and haste seldom go togeher. Hopefully, I can identify the opposition and all other hazards.
But it certainly won't hurt if the other teams get into position pronto."

With that Isaint's disembodied voice vanished. With a mental command he deactivated all non-essential wireless functionality of his gear and turned his com to silent mode. With quick, fluid movements he crossed over the campus of St. Anne College, passed Green Templeton and moved on to the mathematical institute.
There he took a few moments to take in his surroundings and activated his focus to perceive the astral world.

Perception Check: 15d6t5 3

Assensing Check: 8d6t5 2

Once he had spotted the ward, he concentrated to slip between the strands without damaging the barrier or the active spell on him.

Thermal damping: 6d6t5 1
... but it probably won't matter *sigh*

Nonsense - was a mediocre mage but was famous in the shadows as the one that can tap into the power of very powerful spirits. That along made up for a lot of shortcomings, and indeed even when showing his full potential Solo had a special connection to the spirit world.
He figured out a spirit of Man was the most suitable for the task as it has the influence power... and when a very powerful spirit suggest that you do it most people do.

It could also wield the invisibility spell and make them completely unrecoverable except by ultrasound vision or magical vision. It is better to summon in advance, and if the Franchman will desire invisibility he could use the spirit for that. However, as Solo preferred... only play your ace when the chips are down the table.

He concentrated, there was no ritual no nonsense no intense... Instead Solo used his powerful health magic to augment his mental stats for the task. Summoning poweful spirits is a dangerous feat and the stronger they are the stronger their will. Underestimate them and the spirit world would deliver a broken nose back at you.  He felt the spirit was there... a very powerful spirit of man.

"4 services" said the spirit.... "Thank you for coming great spirit... We will be brief I hope you enjoy your time with us."

To the Frenchman and Mel -  "We have a spirit covering our asses, it is a spirit of man so do not expect anything combat oriented, but it can augment the speed of our car... (or the speed of us making us run at the speed of a car) make us invisible and suggest things in a way that few people can refuse... I felt it is suitable for the task at hand... We have only 4 services tough so we'll have to pick wisely... summoning these beasts is dangerous I am glad this one was summoned without many problems. "

Solo has magic 7, and the spirit whisperer quality - that means that he ask for a spirit force 7 and due to some mystery the spirit world send a force 8 spirit. But the drain is still stun and it is not considered over summoning.

Before he starts he cast the improve will power spell:
improve willpower: 15d6t5 5
drain: 15d6t5 5
will power increased by 4, no drain.

then activate higher concern adept power for the summoning task, it allow him to negate the -4 modifier due to sustaining two spells.
He ask for a force 7 spirit:
summon a force 7 spirit of man: 17d6t5 7
spirit defense: 8d6t5 3
force 8 spirit replies - Solo has to resist 6 drain.
Luckily his mentals are shooting through the sky (10 intuition, 9 willpower)
drain resistance (boosted will + intuition): 19d6t5 9

Solo takes no drain and the spirit owes him 4 services.
Before entering the hotel Solo plans to turn off all spells and all wireless functionality. So this is just for the legwork. I'll update when he turn off.
