I don't have Data Trails yet.  Is it worth it?  What kind of content is the focus?

There's some pretty good stuff in it, IMO. Mostly focusing on deckers: new gear, new programs, new matrix actions, etc. Not so much for TMs, they got the shaft. AI rules are interesting. A lot of people seem to like the mechanics behind the deep dive/foundation stuff, although Dumpshock is tearing it apart for not making sense within the context of the setting. It basically creates Matrix metaplanes. I'm not all that interested in it.

So, you can now trace the location of the device that has a MARK on a piece of your gear?  That's interesting.  Kinda surprising too, for me at least.

You can, although the test/time interval makes the test somewhat tough. Computer + Intuition [DP] test with a time interval of 30 minutes. The threshold is equal to 10 + Sleaze Rating of the device which generated the MARK. So, there's a good chance either the MARKed or MARKer is going to have to reboot due to their OS score before the test completes.

You have to go into the foundation, which is like a proto-Matrix. With the right programs, you can bring others along and use their skills. I'm not really a big fan of that kind of setup. I think I'd prefer more interesting hacking options, puzzles, etc.

Just wanted to spot it. If it's OK, I'd like to retcon rebooting my device to clear my OS before I spot Minami's commlink. That way I can at least keep it spotted until I do something else illegal.

I'm not entirely sure if we know Minami's actual geographic district. If we do, Wraith will pick a street intersection closest to the center of the area and run a search for taco stands in proximity to that intersection within X miles, where X is the limit of Minami's area.

@SGT, let's see how good a spot Phoenix was able to get.  Give me another Edge Test.

@Jack, Wraith is able to find a lot of taco stands.  The Johnson was pretty well-prepared and gave you his territory, so If Minami is spotted, and you're able to tail for a bit, you should be able to narrow it down.  Right now, though, it'd be a shot in the dark.
