I guess here's another Matrix Perception test to spot hidden icons. I'll message Phoenix to pull over since this will likely to take a while in order for me to find anything of use.

You're absolutely right.  I was thinking more in the line of cameras, which don't seem to be present, than in any sensor array.  There are a number of vehicles, which can be hacked.  Picking one at random: Wraith's HotF action is successful, but her Snoop action is not.

Smartgun System: Ingram Smartgun X 8-3, for 4 additional pieces of information
Flash Pak: 4-0 for 3 additional pieces of information
Mono-Whip: 1-0 for 0 additional pieces of information.

For the cyber eyes, let's go ahead and get some information on it: Firewall, Grid, Last Matrix Action, and whether it's slaved to anything.
For the smartgun, the same.
For the Flash-Pak, Firewall, Grid, and whether it's slaved to anything.

Just in case anything jumps off, I feel I should note that Mr Hopeless has almost all his gear with him today. Jacket pockets are stuffed fulla nades, Lil Rambo is in the trunk, loaded up with std ammo. Only thing he didn't bring with him is the deck.

Every now and then, I think about how I didn't realize how hamstrung aspected summoners were back when I made this character. Spirits who just can never cast spells is a bitch, but the longer I play him, the more he grows on me. This is by far, one of the weakest characters I've ever played in any RPG, online, in person or otherwise, and I think he's one of my favorites ever.

Weird, i tells ya.

Also, I'm not clear on the rules about something. Hopeless got manabolted by one of the putas in the last run and banished one of their spirits. Would he recognize that mage's astral signature? Or are there more specific investigatory actions needed to know someone's astral signature?

Wraith would know that one of the tell-tale symptoms of a present technomancer is wonky matrix attributes.  They seem to be able to push gear beyond what it should be capable of, or leave gear much more vulnerable that what it should be.

Hopeless is able to spot the mono-whip, but not find out any additional information.

As for the astral signature, it's possible.  The magician's Astral Signature would be present on the spirit, as the mage is tying it to the physical realm.  Recognizing it is a possibility as well.  Give me a Memory Test.  This would have a somewhat high threshold.
