It would be a small bomb (door buster size?) that can be triggered be set on a timer via commlink. Mother has zero skill in demolitions so it has to be user friendly. It also needs to be able to be slaved to (hopefully a cyberdeck so no one else sets if off first) bonus if the bombs icon doesn't look like  a bomb.  I am thinking it could be used as a distraction or a way out in a pinch.

I don't think that would be necessary if it was made to my specifications. especially if it's just a distraction.

i'm back too...
Kachina could see inside the building,  just not what's underground. If there's a physical plate on the rover, she can give it to Kumiho.
Kachina won't bother with the recital, but will stay to observe the place. Her gun is in her car hopefully not parked too far from here.

Kachina cannot read the license plate on the rover from the Astral.  All solid non-living objects in the astral are fairly flat, grey objects.  With a really good perception test, she might make out some of the letters, but some would be really confusing (imagine reading the lowest line of an eye chart, when the E kind of looks like B, etc, and then trying to read the line below that).

Can anyone tell me about these Watcher Spirits?  Are they likely to be just alarms or can they hurt me?  Can they be bypassed or defeated?  Would I be able to remain concealed from them wearing a chameleon suit?  Please clue me in.  Kumiho, is there any way to determine the security aspects of the two buildings by looking at it on the matrix?

For Kachina to report:

They are alarms, they will not manifest or attack... though it is possible that they can alert more dangerous spirits.  They can be bypassed but much more difficult than with people because your aura shows up as a bright light, so you can only hide by staying out of their field of vision (super hard if you don't know which way they are facing) or being behind a fairly solid object.  You cannot 'hide in shadows' and your chameleon suit does nothing to stop them from seeing you.  Bottom line, this will be a challenge, and you'd probably need to coordinate your movements with a 'spotter' who can telly ou when the spirits are looking and when they aren't.

Kumiho will need to do his work before you know where the cameras and the like are.  He got the layout before but didn't notice (look for?) any attached security.

Sorry didn't clarify, I meant she can see the plate with the clairvoyance spell she used.
It is her regular vision, just from another spot.

Oh, sure, blame it on me :P

I guess I will go back into the Matrix and get a hold of the camera system. I'll post something to that extent here in a bit.

My Deck will be setup as follows for this: Firewall 4( 5 with overclock), Data Process 2, Sleaze 5 (6), Attack 4. Programs: Exploit and Stealth Running Cold Sim

I will use Hacking on the fly to gain access to host:
Hacking on the Fly to gain access to host: 14d6t5 4

Then Search for Security Camera Command node:
Search for Security Camera Command Node: 9d6t5 3

Checking for anything hinky (IC or Users)

Kumiho is able to gain access to the Host, but within he cannot find any security node.  Checking with Kachina, he knows that there are Cameras within, she has seen them through her clairvoyance, though to be sure, nothing to indicate they actually work... would it be possible they are only for show?

Or, more likely, that the security is on its own host, thus far inaccessible somehow?  That would indicate non-matrix accessibility which is... odd?

THat is a problem... annoying at least.

Doesn't the Spyfly drone have low light?

When I rolled for the drones stealth roll I rolled my Sneak skill+ drones Pilot rating. I have the Auto soft for stealth -but not sure how that works. Its not very clear in the book so I just added a 1 extra die to the roll. If this is wrong I can reroll.

The Drone will have to have an autosoft to have the skill.

Stealth Autosoft for FlySpy.  That can give it Autosoft Rating + Device Rating as the Dice Pool (which is your roll, so you can edge it).

You only use your own skill (in place of the Autosoft) if you are 'jumped in,' in which case you would ALSO use your own Attribute in place of the Device Rating.

Further, for the Fly Spy to perceive, it will need the 'Clearsight' Autosoft as it's 'Perception' skill.

As for Sensors, the Rules are unclear about what you can stuff into some parts, and how that works.  For example, you can add an Olfactory sensor to your Sensor pod, but the Olfactory sensor has a rating as well... but nothing to indicate how much that rating costs...?  Or if you put a Camera on the sensor pod, what can you stuff the Camera with.  Also, nothing indicates if a drone has a sensor 'Array' or a single sensor.

SO, my rules:

The different types of Sensor options are limited by the Sensor rating of the Drone (some drones are large enough to add an additional sensor package).  If you put a Camera on the Sensor it is rated at the same rating of the Sensor Rating.

So, with a Sensor Rating of 3, your Fly Spy comes with 3 'Sensors' and if you put a Camera on it, it is a Rating 3 Camera, with 3 Capacity for 'Visual Enhancements.

Sensor Functions are on page 446.
