@ Skull

Generally, I enforce loops lasting only 1 round before needing to be respoofed.  It keeps things active and exciting.  I am under the impression that it's actually supposed to work like that, but can't actually find the rules that support that impression.

@ Lighthouse

You see dead people.

I kid, you don't see anything that stands out.

@ All

The Watcher spirit patrol 'routes' have been mapped out and timed, so we are working under the assumption that Tanya is using that information to help her hide.  So, barring some sort of really bad luck, she should be fine on that.

If need be I can swap one of my Programs out with an agent and have the agent do this while I'm doing other things. Sound Good?

You can, the agent will have to make a new roll every 3 seconds.  God will converge on the Cyberdeck the Agent is operating off of.

Keep in mind that spoofing the camera this way only takes up one of your probably 3 actions per round.

;) We only need the looping on the ins and outs. So I'll have the agent handle it. Once we are inside, the agent can just hangout and let the video record as normal until I tell it to loop again.

Have I really used two edge already?  I was sure I have only used one so far, but if not I will just have to do the best I can without any edge.

Here was the first use.  There hasn't been a time of straight up resting for a full eight hour period since then.

Also, in other news, I'm getting ready for my move to Kansas, so I'm pretty busy and a little bit 'general negative emotion' about all of that... so I might not be as fast on the draw about posting, but I'll try to maintain daily posts or checks.

In game:

So, the door is open and access is enabled.  Most doors are unlocked, except for Jason Bridges/Steelbit's Office and the door going down the stairs.

There is no way to move through without being on camera somewhere, so if you want to remove your presence from the cameras, Kumiho will eventually need to get access to the Security Host... wherever that is (I think everyone's best guess in-character is  that it's a non-Matrix server downstairs).

So a refresher:  The right side of the map is four offices.  The left side is a break room.  The offices look like they are ready for occupants but aren't actually occupied.  The break room has stuff in it, but looks like it is only servicing two or three people (some food in the fridge, a little bit of trash in the waste bin).  The workstations in the office aren't hooked up and neither are the devices in the break room (wireless disabled).

So if Tanya investigates that, you are free to sort of describe it within the parameters.  Just keep the pace in mind, as each of Kumiho's matrix action takes about 1 second to perform.  When you are ready to try either the main office or the locked/warded downstairs, I'll be set to adjudicate.

In the meantime, anything Kumiho is continuing to do, I'm here.

Ok I finally looked up the optional powers, they are concealment, combat skill: unarmed, and elemental attack: electricity.

I imagine that in AR I can scan an area for any AROs that might be apart of a security system?

I cast increase reflexes on myself (there's no sustaining penalty because I have invisibility force five and focused concentration 5)

and my drain roll

my initiative goes up to 4d6+9. I think I take one stun.

@ Skull

Inside the building you note that there are no AROs at all.  You can see cameras, but they are very small and built right into the wall.  Getting at them would require tearing up the wall itself around them and seeing what's there.

This leads Kumiho to believe that the security system is completely wired in.  Likely, there is a Matrix connection somewhere, but it's going to be hard to find outside (that said, if it exists, it can be searched for using Matrix Perception action vs it's 'Logic' and 'Sleaze').

But if the Node is downstairs, he can get to it easily enough, at least physically.

@ Mercy Merchant

The door that goes 'down' is also set with a biometric maglock.  It looks just as fancy as the one outside

Tanya smiles at the lock and bends over to get to work.

[/First roll to bypass maglock: 10d6t5+9d6t5+8d6t5+7d6t5+6d6t5 13spoiler]

15 seconds later she has the cover off and has bypassed the lock.

What you know about Barriers:

Mana Barriers can halt magic things from going through them, such as Activated Foci and Spirits (like the one you are Channeling), as well as any sustained spells.  They will not stop anything that is not 'Magically Active', so both Kumiho and Tanya can cruise right through.  Mother could too, if she deactivated everything.

She can also attempt to 'pass through'.  If successful, she could bring an amount of things equal to the net hits (so you'd need 3 net hits on an opposed Cha + Mag vs Forcex2 of the Barrie)r.  You could also attempt to just break down the Barrier (only with Magic Damage) but the person who made it will know if that happens.

Finally, some Wards can actually hurt folks who try to pass through them.

You do not know the Force of the Ward, nor the Type of Ward.

You are looking it over.

Clock is ticking.
