Roll Nanite Volume, which is 10 dice for Doc. Hits can be used to boost Physical attributes. You can choose which attributes and to what degree. If you get 4 hits you can put them all in Agility or split between Agility and Reaction, or whatever you like.

Bear has appeared on the astral, next to Ohanzee. Whether or not Sam can see him is an open question. I would say "probably not" because Sam has zeroed in on Chino and Ohanzee is backpedaling toward safety, which probably takes him out of LOS.

@rednblack Dodge for Chino, +1 due to Sam's negative bite Reach. Then actions for Chino and Ace. Not to metagame too much (or maybe just a little), a Rally roll could help Ohanzee get an IP so that he could give Bear instructions.

Also, I passed. It wasn't a big deal, to be honest, just the entry level Brocade networking test. They were paying for me to take it, so I figured "why not?" But I wanted to put a couple of hours of refresher in before taking it since I'm not as up as I could be on their products and capabilities.

@Poindexter Dodge 6 hits from Ace, +1 to dodge for Sam's additional Reach. Soak as needed. Sam may also be subject to secondary effects (-1 to actions, -5 to Initiative), which in theory should have applied to Sam's IP2 action since Ace was acting on a delayed action from IP1. If applicable, we might roll to subtract hits from Sam's attack roll to see if Chino needs to Edge his dodge or not.

@Poindexter Dodge 3 hits from Chino with Intuition+Logic, both at -1 due to Berserk. The Berserk lasts until the end of CT 1. Undodged hits equal boxes of Stun.

@rednblack Ace probably doesn't need his who turn to Rally Ohanzee. He probably has some actions still available if Ace wanted to do something else too.

Man, 9 hits. We have to do something with that. The 9 hits were all sequential too. Let's save them for Sam's next roll with his armored jacket.

I've been assuming that Sam had his jacket on. It has Chemical Protection to protect it from Sam's acid, and Sam still needs it to not freeze to death. so I don't know why he would have it off. Katsina's sewing project is more for Sam's pants, shoes, gloves, etc.

That said, Sam also gets +3 to roll for Body from Titanium Bone Lacing (not just the +3 Armor). So let's roll those:

Titanium Body Boost: 3d6t5 3 hits

Net result, Sam soaks 8 of the 12 from Ace. Adding 4 boxes of Stun, he is at 4S + 6P.

I actually misspoke about the damage from the astral attack. Base damage is Chino's Charisma, which is 3. Also, it's unclear whether there's a soak roll or not. It seems unbalanced to not have a soak roll, so let's use straight Willpower to soak. The Armor spell or Mystic Armor would apply if available, but neither are applicable here.

@Poindexter Roll Willpower (-1 for Berserk) to soak 5S from Chino.

Katsina will take a cue and try to astrally bop Sam as well, since the mana bind is only slowing him down. She'll spend a Free Action to drop the ineffectual Control Emotions spell.

Willpower 6 + Astral Combat 3 + Specialization 2 + Sword Focus 2 - 2 Wounds - 2 sustaining: 9d6t5 3 hits

@Poindexter Roll Intuition+Logic (-1 for each from Berserk) to dodge 3 hits. If necessary, soak 9S+net hits. Getting smacked with the claymore hurts!

Is Sam dropping?  And I'm guessing Doc skill check time!  Can Doc think of any close combat type actions he could take to subdue Sam?  And would the nanites let him go non-lethal?
