Sam needs a Free Action to switch his firing mode from FA to SA. It looks like he has the action to spare, so that's fine.
The drone is hard to see (dim light, -3). Sam's thermo vision shifts that up to -1, at which point it recombines with range (Medium, -1) to make it -3 again. In addition, the RG2 optional rule gives a -1 modifier to hit a small drone, so Sam's at -4.
Subtracting dice from drone-shooting:
4d6t5 2 hits, which leaves Sam with 5 hits
The good news is that dog-brain drones don't dodge for drek. Drone dodge:

This guy is going batshit. He's either forgotten the instructions to take the prisoners alive, or he's conveniently ignoring it, or he figures Rozkhi is toast so who cares. He's charging Sam!

He also punches like a jackhammer. Base damage is
13P + net hits. No AP at least. Up close, Sam can also see a combat axe strapped to his back. Evidently this guy is so far out of his mind that he didn't draw it, or is angry enough about getting shot that he wants to finish matters with his bare hands.
Sam's tree-cover doesn't apply to his defense but I'm going to say that the process of taking cover involved getting up from a prone position, so Sam doesn't have to take that penalty. (I didn't give the "opponent prone" bonus to the troll.)
@Poindexter Sam should be Reaction 8 + Intuition 3 + Combat Sense 4 = 15 dice to dodge. Do it!

This was the guy who shot at Ohanzee but Ohanzee dodged. He's going to try to make Ohanzee dance again.
